Farm play set-up We set up a farm-themed sensory tray with spoons for scooping and transferring. We used red beans, barley, artificial green grass patch, and water beads, pebbles, twigs, artificial flowers. It was really fun watching my daughter enjoy this set-up. She loved mixing up everything and feeling the texture and asking so many questions about all the elements in the tray! Sensory play is an integral part of early development that helps the child to feel, explore and enjoy different textures.
