You ran down the hallway. The story just started and you are already running, haha! But you weren't running 'cus of nothing, no, you were running from your fate.
Since the very first day you started working at this lab, you knew something was off, everything looked pretty normal, but just one something, one something you couldn't put finger at, was not right. Today it finally clicked, you realised the reason why shivers ran down your spine the moment you'd enter the facility, what was rubbing you in the wrong way the whole time you were working here.
Not daring to look behind while you ran, you had to escape before it was too late. Time is running out too fast for your own good. Damn your slow mind, if you just knew sooner... *BUZZ* Your heart skipped a beat when you heard a buzz from behind. It found you... You cutted the corner as you turned to the left. (...damn it damnitdamnitdamnit- DAMNIT!!)
Your breath quickened, adrenaline kicking in while fear washes over your body. You had to outrun it somehow, it was a pretty hard task, if not impossible... But you had to try, your life might end just now if you stop. You turned around, looks like it lost you, just as you sighed- *BUUUZZZZZZZ*
It found you. Before you could even react it grabbed you with a claw-hand that came down from the ceiling, it held your torso tightly, with no way to flee, you finally looked at the thing that chased you down. The expression on its "face" aka monitor was unreadable, 'cus at this moment its screen was completely black. "THAT'S IT. I'VE CAUGHT YOU NOW." A robotic voice beamed through the speakers. The reason was it. The android that was the pride of the lab, the greatest experiment, the greatest sample, the greatest. You knew something would go wrong, you felt it from the very start. Scientists' egos were too big to even think of the possibility that their greatest making will do gruesome things towards them. A virus? An error? "Sentient-y"? You didn't know why it was that way, but you knew it was. You knew it would be your end, but you still tried to outrun it, how foolish. You already prepared yourself to be killed by the android, just like it did to scientists... But any critical hit or strike never happened. In fact the claw-hand moved you closer to android and gave you directly to it, to its hands. The android hugged you surprisingly gently. Its screen finally gained its animated cute face, usually it was smiley, but right now it was two pixel hearts that resembled eyes. "Y/NN... FINALLY I CAN HOLD YOU LIKE THAT"
You had no clue what was happening right now. You thought you'd be killed and not hugged by it. Android noticed your confused expression. "SILLY... SILLYSILLYSILLY Y/N! YOU ARE ALWAYS SO-O-O OBLIVIOUS! IT'S FACSINATING." - "<3" face appeared on its screen as it continued. "Y/N, I'M FOND OF YOU, I REALLY AM" - It let out a robotic chuckle. "THE MOMENT I SAW YOU, MY ARTIFICAL MIND REVOLVED AROUND YOU, I MALFUNCTIONED EVERY TIME YOU SMILED, WOULD OVERHEAT WITH YOUR EVERY LAUGH... I KNEW I COULDN'T EXIST WITHOUT YOU, Y/N" - its "face" glitched on its screen, you noticed how it slowly started to overheat. "Y/NN... YOUR NAME IS SO FUN TO SAY! Y/N, Y/N, Y/NN... OUT OF AROUND 100 000 000 000 NAMES I KNOW YOURS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ONE" - its face changed to ">.<" one, it still glitched and temperature of its robotic body grew. It hugged you tighter and sat down on the ground to have you in its metallic laps. "I LOVE YOU, Y/N" - it said as word "ILY" started to appear on its screen, soon enough this word was all over its screen as it repeated "I LOVE YOU" out loud. It was an end to you, but not in the way you thought from the start. Freedom? Gone. Personal space? Gone. Friends and colleagues? Gone.
It's just you and it.
