It’s been two years since the Civil Android Revolution. By now most survivors have formed families of their own; what’s more is that they seek to endeavor this newly found freedom by assembling small groups and businesses, specifically pertaining to androids as a means of reconstructing their place in society. Of course there will never be such a thing as perfect peace. Some humans likely still blame androids for most of the world’s problems, even issues that took place long before their development. It’s been presumed that because of the advancement, a conspiracy to take away human jobs and rights is taking place on the down low—but of course that isn’t true—Nevertheless, Markus continues to be an advocate and figurehead for A.E. (Android Equality) all across the nation, and holds an annual assembly at Manfred Estate, discussing progress while also hoping to reach out World Wide. For this reason it is Law Enforcement Policy to make sure all meetings are carried out both safely and peacefully. This year, due to petty crimes involving angry protesters, one of the lawmen assigned to the task is CyberLife’s RK800 series, Connor, normally a crime scene investigator and deviant bloodhound. Since the case involved both humans and androids, no other officer seemed better for the task; although it may have seemed banal compared to his usual vocation. Inside, a large number of visitors occupied the lobby, exploring Carl’s old gallery whilst mingling casually amongst themselves. This vaguely reminded him of a time in which Carl complained about how much he hated cocktail parties; Markus could finally sympathize, albeit for different reasons. At the time, he was outside having a discussion with Connor. ”You were saying something about Elijah Kamski?” Markus quizzed, rousing from his blank stupor. He looked more melancholy than he actually felt, recalling bitter-sweet memories of his surrogate father; a simper almost gracing his face until he remembered why the cops were there. ”To answer your question, I’ve never met him personally, but I have heard about him. Is there something I should know?” @sentient-blue
