Heraphae Design for my sentinette AU!

I was going to digitise it and add colour, but I hate how it turned out.

Heraphae is Emilie's alias as the peacock holder in my au. Phae/Phea from pheasant, since that is the familial classification of a peacock, and Hera after the Greek Goddess of marriage and childbirth, who is also represented by a peacock Which is exactly what Emiele uses the miraculous for, to help couples unable to have children. Though she was only able to make four before she fell into a coma. Adrien being the first and Marinette the last. (No, they are not related)

Heraphae is pronounced either Hera-fay or Hera-Fee.

It's also a fun Easter egg, sounding similar to Heresy.

Heresy: Any strongly dissenting theory or opinion that opposes established beliefs, customs, or ideas, even in areas like philosophy or politics.

The Du-Pain-Chengs are the only family she helped to not know her identity. After getting sick as a result of creating Adrien, she decided that it was best that she be the only one to use it. She was already very weakened after Kagami and Felix. Together, she and Gabriel decided it would be best to end there. Until she met Sabine and went behind Gabriel's back to create Marinette.

Mari in this au is also a lot more temperamental as a result. Since Sentibeings are created from emotion, Emilie's heavily influenced their personalities. Filled with love and hope, creating Adrien, he ended up being, well, Adrien. Since she was working from a logical, protective point of view with Felix and felt confident and efficient with Kagami, they ended up just that. With Mari, though, she was being stubborn and determined, defying Gabriel, but also empathetic, helping others at her own detriment.

Sentinette AU pt.1

AU where Marinette is also a sentimonster along with Adrien, Kagami, and Felix. Like in cannon, her parents run an extremely successful bakery and, as such, often mingle when catering for high-class events. At one such event, Sabine met Emilie, and the topic of children came up. By this time, Emilie had already created the other three and decided that if she was going to die anyways, she might as well help as many people as possible. Against Gabriel's wishes, she secretly visited the Du-Pain-Chen bakery one night as Heraphae and created Marinette.

Tom and Sabine are very open with Marinette about where she came from and (when confident she was responsible enough to not lose it) left her ring in her possession. The only commands they gave her were to not discuss anything about the miraculous or her origin with anyone. At age 13, after multiple all nighters sewing because "I am not confined to mortal constrictions!" That she had to look after herself as a human. First post here

In miraculous. If you are too manipulative while still young, You are probably going to be a sentimonster. Soon we will learn over half of people are secretly monsters too because they didn't bother fact checking or have better things to do. LOL

Can't wait til I can say the sentient adventures of feathernette and adrien.

okay but have we considered that MARINETTE is the sentimonster

evidence:

bird motif. she’s really into those pigeons. and her uncle has a parrot. coincidence? i think not.

she wore all those miraculous in kwami buster, which fu said was impossible for a human. ergo, not human.

she has never been cataclysmed. obviously the show is trying to avoid showing us that she is a sentimonster.

her grandma brought her that shirt that didn’t fit. gina dupain clearly didn’t know that tom & sabine had upgraded to sentinette 3.0: early adolescence because when she last visited 6 months ago they were still on sentinette 2.0: elementary edition

in the english dub adrien said she has his mother’s eyes. obviously that makes no sense unless she’s a sentimonster created by emilie. actually, it still doesn’t make any sense. english dub, why.

Sentinette isn't dead she's just painfully trapped in the realm between existence and nothingness able to watch and move just not able to interact

She was erased, gone, done-zo. She probably doesn’t even know she doesn’t exist.

Non-existence just sort of isn’t.

All that left of her is the memory in Ladybug’s and Chat noir’s hearts. That’s it.
