Chibi Sentinette and Ladybird

Ladybird is from @goatlilly 's Miraculous Apprentice Au. Mari is extremely excited to meet her hero (or at least a version of her anyway). Hopefully, knowing that her time with the miraculous inspired a hero and not just villains brings Ladybird some piece of mind.

There was supposed to be more, but this took me longer than my pride is willing to admit. And I really wanted to post some art again. So there will be maw (get it like more? Like there will be more maw?). Dibs on being world #804!!

I don't usually add colour, but Ladybird's costume was too awesome not to, and colouring was actually pretty soothing and a bunch of fun. Just remind me never to use glitter pens again.

Mash the SentiLila theory and the SentiNette theory together, and you get a story about two girls fighting what their creators made them to be and forging their own destiny + girls supporting girls so it’s a win-win for me.

Girls fighting and proving their more than what society expects of them, while also finding their greatest ally in a fellow girl.

I just want ML to be about girl-power, plz and thank you.

We all know the lengths Adrien will go to be a couple with Ladybug, with his sexual harassment as well as believing the Sentimonster in the Ladybug episode because she was in love with him.

Adrien finds out his dad is Hawkmoth and the reasons for his villainy and joins him, betraying Ladybug and making the wish. Since he’s bringing his mom back, the balance of the wish requires that Ladybug must pass into a magical coma in place of his mother, but Adrien decides its worth it since ‘she never accepts the truth.’

Marinette’s body is hidden in the basement, where Emilie’s was hidden for so long, and Emilie takes her place in the family again, like she never left.

Then, using the Peacock Miraculous, which Gabriel gave to him as soon as he got his wife back, Adrien creates a Sentimonster version of his lady which listens to him and treats him like a king which he thinks he deserves. This version replaces Marinette, and Adrien tries to keep her personality the same, but doesn’t quite suceed. The rest of the class hesitantly accepts this new Marinette, though, as they’ve all spent summer break apart, and Marinette was always saying she wanted to turn over a new leaf….still, it’s hard to reconcile the memories of their friend with who she is now. Shockingly, she seems to be siding with Chloe very often, even when Chloe is targeting her.

Maybe the fact that she’s dating Adrien is to blame–his behavior seems to have rubbed off on her more than anyone could have imagined it would, and not in a good way.

He gives the Senti-Nette the Ladybug Miraculous and uses the Butterfly Miraculous to make Akumas just so he can receive the attention and live his dream. Maybe he takes the Miracle Box, maybe it transports to the temple or maybe Marinette transfers it to Alya at the last minute without him knowing, up to you.

However, the first Sentimonster of Ladybug proved that Sentimonsters don’t have to listen to the master, and one time Senti-Nette asks him questions which he doesn’t like and he accidently ends up renouncing her, killing her in the process.

He gets worried, and makes a new version, but this one doesn’t remember anything except what Adrien knows, which means she doesn’t know her own parent’s names, or where she’s supposed to live, or who anyone is. And he can’t just have her walk around and pretend she has total amnesia, those sort of things don’t just happen, so he kills her too, and keeps trying again and again, making new versions to try make himself the perfect girlfriend, and blaming everyone except himself when things inevitably go wrong. It’s like there are only two extremes: She’s too willful, or she doesn’t have any will at all. One of them wouldn’t even move unless he told her how to do every single step of it. His skills at creating sentimonsters aren’t improving, they’re all over the place.

This can go many different ways.

Adrien can choose to isolate the many Senti-Nettes from her friends in a disasterously failed attempt to get them to not notice anything being wrong, decide that Luka, who consistantly shows concern for Senti-Nette, is the reason she’s going astray, and accuses him as Chat Noir of assisting Hawkmoth, Alya catching on (With her being suspicious if she gets the Miracle Box, since Master Fu forgot everything but Senti-Nette somehow remembers them all, or just plain old having basic observational skills, and the growing realization that Adrien isn’t nearly as good of a person as she’d once thought) or having a crossover from a different fandom where Marinette’s secret other friends (which Adrien doesn’t know about because she would never subject them to him) discover her and find out what’s going on.

Either way, someone at some point needs to storm Agreste Mansion to rescue the real Marinette, as well as as many Senti-Nettes as they can.

okay but have we considered that MARINETTE is the sentimonster

evidence:

bird motif. she’s really into those pigeons. and her uncle has a parrot. coincidence? i think not.

she wore all those miraculous in kwami buster, which fu said was impossible for a human. ergo, not human.

she has never been cataclysmed. obviously the show is trying to avoid showing us that she is a sentimonster.

her grandma brought her that shirt that didn’t fit. gina dupain clearly didn’t know that tom & sabine had upgraded to sentinette 3.0: early adolescence because when she last visited 6 months ago they were still on sentinette 2.0: elementary edition

in the english dub adrien said she has his mother’s eyes. obviously that makes no sense unless she’s a sentimonster created by emilie. actually, it still doesn’t make any sense. english dub, why.

Sentinette isn't dead she's just painfully trapped in the realm between existence and nothingness able to watch and move just not able to interact

She was erased, gone, done-zo. She probably doesn’t even know she doesn’t exist.

Non-existence just sort of isn’t.

All that left of her is the memory in Ladybug’s and Chat noir’s hearts. That’s it.

Lore time!

Marinette's able to sense other Sentibeings and immediately clocked Adrien. Her creepy obsession is based on that instead of a crush, though it's easy to misinterpret. He's the first other sentibeing she's met and is understandably.... curious. He may also be a lead to meeting Heraphae. Not to say feelings won't develop along the way.

She strongly disapproves with Gabriel's controlling parenting style, especially with the use of Adrien's Amok. Gabriel knows she knows, she made sure of that. This results in the comedic situation where Gabriel thinks she knows Heraphae's identity and has pieced together his. He figures if he complies a bit with giving Adrien more freedom, she'll keep it from Ladybug and Chat. If an akuma has beef with Marinette, though getting her ring is an objective. Meanwhile, Marinette just thinks he's a shit dad, and even if his imaginary situation was true, she is unable to discuss anything about her origin.

Sentinette AU pt.1

AU where Marinette is also a sentimonster along with Adrien, Kagami, and Felix. Like in cannon, her parents run an extremely successful bakery and, as such, often mingle when catering for high-class events. At one such event, Sabine met Emilie, and the topic of children came up. By this time, Emilie had already created the other three and decided that if she was going to die anyways, she might as well help as many people as possible. Against Gabriel's wishes, she secretly visited the Du-Pain-Chen bakery one night as Heraphae and created Marinette.

Tom and Sabine are very open with Marinette about where she came from and (when confident she was responsible enough to not lose it) left her ring in her possession. The only commands they gave her were to not discuss anything about the miraculous or her origin with anyone. At age 13, after multiple all nighters sewing because "I am not confined to mortal constrictions!" That she had to look after herself as a human. First post here

Sentinette AU!!!

Au where Mari is a sentimonster along with Kagami, Adrien, and Felix. She was the last one created before Emmile passed (much to Gabes chagrin). Her parents told her about it when she was old enough and let her keep her amok. She hates how controlling Gabriel is and has serious beef with him about it. He just takes it cause what if she spills the beans to Ladybug and Chat Noir that he has the peacock miraculous and by extension the butterfly, what he doesn't know is that her only command is she can't discuss it with others and doesn't actually know who the holder is, let alone that someone so kind would be working with hawk-moth.
