virgo: are you very critical of your own writing? how much do you find yourself editing (either during the writing or after the fact)?

To be honest, i beat myself up especially when i write (not in a way i punch myself lmao) but beat in a way that i pressure myself so i could write something that isn’t too plain for me. It is said (from the writing articles) that writers shouldn’t be editing their works while writing simultaneously because it’ll end up in a huge loophole of nothingness yet i always edit whenver i write, remove unnecessary sentences then add another sentence that u think is okay? but after finishing the excerpt, i would find myself removing it again LMaO. i edit while writing and after as well! I also ask for proofreading (shoutout to @godjo and @svgafresh for being my proofreaders and gping thru my dumps everytime, love u both!)
