Arthur dreams.

There are stars beneath his eyelids and he sees a boy with golden hair and eyes the colour of the sky.

'Will you come with me?' the boy asks each time. Arthur laughs, tells him that he can't and the boy ducks his head, looking disappointed. It's always the same, and sometimes Arthur flicks the boy playfully on the forehead with his fingers. The boy glares at him, eyes narrowing beneath his glasses but he's never angry with Arthur for long. They lie together, on an endless field of impossibly green grass, looking up at the sky.

In the morning, when Arthur wakes, he feels a strange sense of loss. There's an inexplicable ache in his chest, like someone had carved out his heart, slowly, held it in their hands and crushed it before trying to put it all back together again. Sometimes he feels like he has been made and unmade and it doesn't make sense. He rubs at his eyes, goes to school as per normal and tries not to fall asleep while the lecturer goes on and on about Middlemarch.

Arthur draws.

The margins of his notebooks are usually filled with doodles of everyday objects. The figure of the student sitting in front of him, someone's bag leaning against their legs, his pencil case on his desk... Yet lately, there're sketches of a boy. Glasses, wide smile and eyes that are impossible to capture.

He sees the boy in his dreams, yet when he's awake, it's far too difficult to recall.

(But he hears it loud and clear sometimes, when he's alone, come fly with me let's fly let's fly away, in Frank Sinatra's voice leaving that boy's lips, his outstretched hand beckoning Arthur to let go let go let go)

Arthur dreams.

This time, when the boy asks, Arthur nods. He grabs the boy's hand and the boy grins, licking his lips. Arthur stares, transfixed, breathless.

'I'm Alfred. What's your name?'

To me the greatest thing about Jenson and Nico is the lovely expanse of time and circumstance that you have to work with. They've been racing together for so long and have gone through so much and they've both had ups and downs and you could either just drop in on any given moment in their timeline and set something there or do a whole epic A-Z thing where you zoom in on different points and maybe go back and forth between those and some sort of 'main' narrative set in the present.

 Actually maybe the greatest thing about writing them as a pairing is how believable I find it on a lot of levels. I don't mean that in a tinhatty sort of way, but there's just something about how Jenson is so open with his affections and so comfortable with himself that I can really see him just going with something without worrying or over-analyzing it too much. This is very true in his interactions with DC (no seriously, if there is one thing that I believe with all my soul it's that those two have stumbled into bed at some point), who gives as good as he gets on that front, but is even more serious on some levels when it comes to Nico. 

The way he looks at Nico, the way he *lets* himself look at Nico... GOD THESE IDIOTS.  

And Nico... ah, Nico. He's someone who's spent his whole life being called pretty and beautiful and princess and he does that painful fake laugh whenever the Britney thing comes up because he doesn't want anyone to know that it actually bothers him. But then sometimes when Jenson does it in private - when Jenson stares at him or slings an arm around his shoulder at some party they're both at and smacks a big sloppy drunken kiss on Nico's cheek and calls him gorgeous and Nico kind of hates how he can't help but be flattered and how the way Jenson looks him makes him feel lightheaded. 

And you know of all the drivers on the grid it's Jenson who would be the most sincerely happy for Nico if he won the championship/would be the right person to comfort him if he doesn't win.

I know about that one, but I've never used it! I used to do edits too (not for here back then) and I always used photoscape! (and still use, to capture screen and change the brightness and all that, to everyday things, not even edits xD) It's a simple programme and you can do MANY things with it :D When I did edits to upload them I used to blend the photos on ps, save the image and then edit it with photoscape xDDD

Then there're those not high quality but IMPRESSIVE-I-can-even-see-your-soul quality images and gifs and kasjgflkasglkfgasf xDDD I want to learn and do amazing things *·*

Anyway, people say making gifs on PS is easy (it might be if you're used to it, but...) I tried once, spent ages making it, saved it and it didn't move XDDDDD Never tried again xDDD Though I want and I should!
