Selena left New York after the Neo runway and flew to Canada to see Justin (September 3, 2014)
thinking about the deeply unsurreptitious teenage boys i saw at the beach who kept looking over at me before unsurreptitiously beginning to smoke a joint. passed the teenage stoner vibe check
bit of a dud month but my life has been forever changed

Monday 12th September
Today was the beginning of the second week of the plan. Week 1 went well even though it was difficult to implement the plan and working around university tutorials, work and gym. My Monday began with me going for a walk and just observing the different cultures around Liverpool. I saw various diverse cultures with Liverpool being a very multicultural community. But mainly observing the elderly from a Balkan culture in the city centre, playing chess with the elderly from a middle eastern culture. Which was quite interesting considering the language barrier but, the similarity in culture when it comes to respect and demeanor resonates between the two. Unfortunately I did not get to read another chapter of Managing Cultural Differences due to time constraints but I did get to fill out more of the survey after my tutorial. Examples I found of correctly managed Cultural Differences shared similarities in terms of good communication, awareness, timing , team-building, attitude , knowledge and skills.
