Ambassadors for Christ

Today, I read the book of Matthew 25:31-46. It talks about the time when Jesus' 2nd coming has finally arrived. Jesus came in His glory and all the angels came with Him. He sat upon HIs glorious throne and all the nations gathered in His presence. The LORD separated the sheep (made righteous through Christ) from the goats (cursed ones).

Then on his right, Jesus invited the ones on his right hand to enter the Kingdom that was prepared for them from the creation of the world. Then Jesus started telling them why they were being invited in. He said, "For I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you cared for me, I was in the prison and you visited me."

Then the righteous ones responded to The King asking when did they ever done these things?. Then the Lord Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brother and sisters, you were doing it to me!".

Then after that, Jesus, The King turned to those on the left and said, "Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons." Then Jesus started telling them why they were being sent with the devil and his demons. Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you didn't feed me, I was thirsty and you didn't gave me a drink, I was a stranger, and you didn't invite me into your home. I was naked and you didn't give me clothing, I was sick and in the prison and you didn't visit me." They were confused and can't remember when they did such a thing. Then Jesus said, I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me." (Ref. Matthew 10:14-15)

As I contemplate in the Word of God. I asked the LORD, who are the least that he was talking about. I think He said, "Those who believe in me, my children, my brother, my sister, the poor, the broken in spirit, those who felt crushed, unloved and unwanted." Then I said, "Ow. okay LORD. So just to be in the safe side, I should just look, and treat everyone like it's you I am doing it to?" And I felt in my heart that He said Yes. When I was about to pray and end my devotion. I think the LORD said to me, "Where are you going? We're not done yet." Then He pointed my eyes on His words again. And I think He said, "That can be applied literally, but it has more into it." Then I started writing "Spiritual Translation" And this is what the LORD lead me to write.

* I WAS HUNGRY & THIRSTY For the word of GOD, I needed to hear the WORD of the LORD right now and you did NOT hesitate to share and tell me what the LORD wants me to hear.

* I WAS A STRANGER, I was looking for a family who would accept me and not condemn me for what I look like or where I come from. I always felt that I don't belong to any church because I felt condemned the first time I step in. But you accepted me and didn't condemn me. You welcomed me with all your heart.

* I WAS NAKED, I was ashamed of my sins. And you came to lead me on receiving the Robe of Jesus. And I am no longer naked. Because Christ used you to dress me in His righteousness.

* I WAS SICK AND IN PRISON, I was blind in God's goodness towards me. I was deaf on hearing His voice. I was at the edge of falling from Grace because of the bondage I'm in. But with all your heart, you continually prayed for me to comeback. And you didn't stop reminding me of God's abundant Grace and how He loves me so much.

As I wrote what The LORD was saying to me. I realized... I experienced all of it. I was hungry and thirsty for the word of God, but I wasn't going to church because I felt condemned because of my nakedness. I was sick and in bondage. But the LORD sent someone. Someone like Him. A mirror of Christ. Who loved me unconditionally. Who does not condemned me. Who prayed for me for many many years. And reminded me of God's Grace every day. Someone who opened my eyes and made me see that I am no longer naked because Christ has clothed me with His righteousness.

I Thank GOD for my mom. God used the closest mirror of His image, just so He can reach me. How about you? What is the Holy Spirit telling you today? Whether God used you to reach someone or He reach you through someone. Always remember that we are the Ambassadors of Christ. And your simple act of LOVE toward someone, Can be a supernatural act of GOD to their lives.
