You know, I think they might; especially while watching TV. Bruce is huge, there’s no excusing or denying that fact these days, but Steve can still take it if Bruce leans against Steve. Sometimes on the couch, Steve will tell Bruce to lean back into his arms. He’ll hug Bruce from behind and play with his sides and tummy, thumbing over all of Bruce’s soft squishiness. Tony tried doing that a few times, but it take a lot of energy (and strength) to hold Bruce up without an Iron Man suit.

Steve has trained Lily to grab a box of cookies from the lower shelves after Bruce comes home, or the large bag of exotic wrapped chocolates. Bruce often munches on those before dinner if he’s distracted - or right after dinner, while they’re watching TV or the news. Or definitely chips, while they’re watching TV. Bruce may give Lily a *tiny* chip for her trouble, or a tiny sliver of a (non-chocolate) cookie, but he knows it’s better not to spoil her.

Steve doesn’t have waking fantasies of Bruce becoming immobile, but he does have sleep dreams of Bruce becoming so large that he can’t lift him. 

Sometimes he has those types of dreams after a battle, after witnessing Hulk performing a feat so incredible that he can’t wrap his head around it. On those nights his dreams turn to an enormous Bruce the size of Hulk, but twice as chubby. He mostly keeps those dreams to himself; some things are too embarrassing to share, in his opinion.

Lily is a lap dog, a tiny little chihuahua/dachshund mix, who really doesn’t have the strength to carry one of Bruce’s meals. But she has tried to steal plenty of burgers off his plate!

Public shopping is something they don’t normally do, unless it’s for small things at the corner shops. Jarvis notes their dietary levels, and orders for the household accordingly. Tony never looks at the bill - but suffice it to say, it usually costs over $4000/month to feed the three of them properly, and that’s just the homemade bills; it doesn’t include ordering from restaurants, or going out. 

On a normal day, Bruce eats about as much as a family of four, but on post-Hulkout days they usually order takeout and get it delivered because he can consume a weeks’ worth of food in a few hours. 

Steve’s high metabolism lets him eat about as much as a family with a young child unless he’s in battle - after battle, he eats as much as Bruce on a normal day. Tony eats, more or less, the amount an average guy his age eats. More or less, because some days he eats more and some days less. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Their grocery budget would probably be cheaper if Tony didn’t purchase so many high-end items, but go big or go home, right?

Nah…it’s only if Bruce wants it. And I don’t think Bruce does. Steve may fantasize about it, but he’s not going to want to see Bruce unhappy.

Dose tony or steve ever gain weight because of bruce

I’ve sort of answered that a bit ago, but I do still like thinking about that idea, from time to time. Would Bruce’s eating habits influence them--? It’s possible. But I think (from my own headcanons) that Steve enjoys working out and running, and his metabolism is already fast...so even if he ate more I don’t think it would affect his weight much. Now Tony, on the other hand, has to watch himself. He has a lot of nervous energy though, which I think helps keep his weight down - and he also boxes/spars with either a trainer, or Steve (tbh, I headcanon Steve as Tony’s personal trainer). But he’s still getting older, and getting older will slow down the metabolism. And he *is* a fan of burgers and donuts, so...ahem.

I think Tony cares about his health a little more and tries to balance his indulgences with exercise - and marathon science sessions without much sleep. But in my canon, Tony’s about ten pounds heavier because he feels safer and comfortable with his lovers. :)

Sometimes on Saturdays Tony goes into the office (because one reason or another Pepper has to have something THIS MINUTE (something he’s usually put off until the last minute). When he does Steve usually gets up to shenanigans with Bruce - games that Tony’s less into, and games he doesn’t mind Bruce and Steve playing alone. Steve may (and probably will) stuff Bruce silly those lazy Saturday days, and it’s doubtful either one of them leave the bed (unless it’s to get more food for Bruce, or to use the facilities). It doesn’t often happen, but Tony can always tell when it does, by the goofy grins on his lovers’ faces. That would probably be the time when Bruce puts on tighter clothes and parades around the house, for Steve’s eye’s only. Because he knows how much Steve likes it.

They do make up for what Tony missed later in the evening, though.

The three still use the funnel feeder (”Bed”), and Steve likes seeing Bruce using it. Tony’s still amazed at how much Bruce can put away when he’s strapped to the machine. 

As for cute clothes? Well, maybe more nerdy than cute; Bruce has a lot of science tee shirts he refuses to part with (he loves science puns, even better on shirts) and he’ll wear them sometimes. But he’s far too pudgy to wear them regularly, so his gut does stick out quite considerably (the shirts roll up and expose half his belly. He keeps tugging them down, but Tony had to tell him to quit because Cap was about ready to jump him each time.

I think others have written better stories with chubby Tony and Steve (and there are some really good ones out there!). There’s actually one with Bruce as Loki’s feeder. 

I think Bruce has feeder tendencies as well because he loves to comfort others (and food is a definite comfort). But in my headcanon, Bruce has always been the comforting one, so he should be the one who gets spoiled and comforted, for once! I think Tony and Steve are more than happy to do that for him, because they feel the same way about him - and since food makes Bruce feel happy and grounded…well. The more, the better and the more to love. They see how happy he’s become since gaining weight, and maybe as well Bruce can finally deal with his buried feelings because he’s not as much at risk of coming undone as the Hulk.

I don’t think I could do a story in reverse and do it justice, because my reasons wouldn’t be the same. For me, it isn’t just about Bruce getting fat and the feederism tendencies of Tony and Steve. To me, it’s Bruce being loved on and finding out what kind of person he is - and growing up in his emotional maturity. Getting fat is part of the perk. 8)

No, Lily doesn’t get caught. She will snuggle against him, though, and Bruce is very careful with her. She loves making a “nest” on his stomach if he accidentally falls asleep while watching TV, though.

It can be tougher for Bruce to get around, but it isn’t impossible. Going on long walks is something he sometimes misses, but he’s good at going on short ones - like to the dog park, or to his mother’s memorial (after driving to it first, of course). 

Tony and Steve make sure there are plenty of snacks around the house so Bruce doesn’t have to go *too* far for something, but Steve will be a bit mother-hennish if he thinks Bruce is losing weight (and he may bring home an extra pizza, or more snacks for the weekend so Bruce can “build up his strength). I think they’re comfortable if Bruce would *want* to lose weight, but Bruce hasn’t mentioned wanting to, so…there is that. He may be close to wanting to maintain his weight, though, because of some of his difficulty getting around. Tony has some mobility devices to help Bruce, and he’s willing to make more if Bruce wants to use them.

I think button-bursting may be one of their bedroom activities. Steve is way more into it than Tony, but Tony enjoys the scientific principles of how much strength it takes for one of Bruce’s buttons to pop off. Bruce sometimes purposefully wears tighter clothes on a weekend if he’s feeling particularly frisky, mostly to tease Steve.

Breaking furniture isn’t Bruce’s thing, but he has broken his fair share of chairs. On accident.

I don’t think they’ve ever measured Bruce’s stomach, but it’s large enough that it’s tough to fit their arms around him. Their arms have inched higher and higher for a proper hug, and Steve has no doubt that they’ll stop trying in a year. Or maybe Tony and Steve will hug him at the same time, so it’s less cramped.

If Bruce is away and they’re back home, it’s rare (Bruce prefers not to travel, if he can help it). But sometimes he does have to do things for the university and he may travel to a conference overnight. It’s tough when Bruce isn’t with them, though; the bed is noticeably colder, and Tony and Steve tend to get into more frivolous fights. Tony sometimes works too hard in the lab, while Steve runs his demons away. In any case, it really is tough if they’re separated for long periods of time - they’ve vowed not to spend more than a week apart from one another, if it can be helped.

Walking? Oh, boy. He likes it less and less these days. Fortunately he has a handicapped parking spot at his university and his office is a few short steps away, but he’s not full-time with the university (and he’s “kind of a big deal,” according to Tony), so he negotiated that all of his lectures would be less than a five minute walk from the nearest parking lot. But those five minutes can be a big deal. Fortunately, there’s a Starbucks and a student union cafe halfway there, so he may stop there for a quick bite or frapp before walking the rest of the way.

When Bruce isn’t feeling his best sometimes the stuffing sessions are the only things getting him through the weekend. It’s a quick and dirty way to bring up his serotonin levels, especially if he eats a lot of sweet carbs like cakes, cookies, and donuts - and yes, he likes it when his lovers are there to feed him so he doesn’t have to do much but lay around. Tony and Steve may take turns feeding him and reading things they found on the internet, or from his favorite journal articles. Talking helps the best, though. If he’s too low, though, he’ll need more support than a feeding session can give.
