I am having so much fun pressing buttons on this blog! An option i humbly present to you for consideration: poll option for "i haven't used this pokemon, but want to".

Now that we are getting into gen 5 and up, I am seeing so many pokemon that I haven't used but want to some time in the future for replays of games or future gens.

Again, I love this blog so much! Pressing buttons and seeing pokemon that I haven't thought of in forever is so much fun!

This has actually been suggested before, and I heavily considered it! It would be nice for people who know they haven’t used a Pokemon yet but still want to share an admiration for it.

I mainly decided against it for two reasons;

1) The Gen 1 polls were running out of options. Polls are limited to 12 options currently, so 9 gens + other + unsure + no filled it pretty completely.

2) The main premise of the blog is past tense… which is a silly hang-up, I know, but since we’re going so far as to ask when ‘first used’, I wanted to keep true to it.

A potential solution is if we do another go around, changing it to ‘would you use _ on a team’ 🤔 Much to consider.

What is a fun childhood memory you have? I remember going to Legoland and getting my "drivers license" to drive the bumper cars there and thinking it was so confusing to remember which foot did gas or brakes. (I have figured out which ic which by now don't worry)

I went to Legoland too!!!! I think I was 11 or 12. I don’t have a lot of memory of it, but I did go on that car driving ride. I also remember a ride with a dragon in it that I thought was cool.

A lot of my favorite childhood memories are theme park related. My family had Six Flags season passes for a few years. I loved Disneyland as well, though we visited it a lot less.

Another favorite memory was reaching the age where I transitioned from playing pretend to more grown up talking. For example, me and a friend would lay out all of our Barbie’s or horse figurines, whichever we chose to play with that day, lay them all out, set up our game and end up talking about unrelated things instead. Kind of the phase where we discovered our inner worlds and philosophies.

I’m nostalgic for the friends I grew up with. I had great friends.
