Ask Game

I love this question because it was really hard for me to let go of Dancing With Our Hands Tied. I wouldn't say I have regrets, because I'm really proud of how it turned out, but I have a lot of unwritten scenes in my head ✨

This fic was exceedingly easy and enjoyable for me to write – the words and ideas just flowed out of my brain, through my fingers and onto the doc. Every scene I wrote or imagined is in chapters 1 - 9 (I only added, I didn't cut any scenes). This is why I was always up late editing!

Chapter 10 is where I have mixed feelings. I adored the characters in this fic and it was so difficult to tie it all off at the end! I think if I hadn't given myself a deadline that night, it could have easily kept going another 10k. Everything I wrote is in chapter 10, but there's plenty in my brain 🧠

These are some of the things I time jumped over that sometimes play in my mind.

I stopped because I felt the plot had run its course : D But perhaps this fic needs a sequel (?) ... perhaps it's better to leave it? I think about this a lot.

If I did, I would want to incorporate topics like the annoying aspects of condomless sex, postpartum sex, being a working mother, raising Harry to be emotionally intelligent etc xx

This is a fun little rewrite showing a glimpse of Rainsford’s mental state if he couldn’t find a way out of the island. Feel free to read!

Rainsford sat atop one of the library’s luxurious chairs, smoking a cigar and enjoying the peace. Back then, the normalcy of smoking a cigar brought him much needed comfort, as it did now.

Smoking inside, Rainsford?

How childish, Rainsford.

The man grimaced, throwing the cigar to the plush carpet and squishing the life of those thoughts along with the poor device he previously used as a stress reliever.

Not like it was his own.

The mansion rang quiet, allowing the small pads of his footsteps in the hallway to resonate.

He checked the calendar that lay in lush study, over… his desk.

Zaroff- in flowy lettering was engraved on the front of the desk as he approached. It made him a bit sick.

It’s been around a month since he’s died.

Hence- Rainsford had been here for about a month. Idling around the rooms, taking rations for himself from the kitchen every now and then.

He couldn’t help but think terrible, terrible, things.

What had happened to Whitney? The other men on board?

Hi there! 🌸

As of this week, I am working on a possible sequel to of vipers and doves. I got the inspiration from a commenter on AO3. 

Since Oberyn kept his head in one piece in this universe, means that he would’ve been around when Daenerys came to ask for Dorne’s allegiance in the war. What would drive the Martells to join the fight in this case? What would happen then? One clue: in this one, Daenerys doesn’t go all Mad Queen because that was bullshit and also the whole of seasons 7 and 8 were full of bad writing so I’m fixing that.

im really not the best fic writer and it's not my primary focus but i am proud of that self defense fic and im so soft that like? it's being appreciated so im just lik!!! AHHHH
