Life Update

So, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster over here, as you guys could probably tell. A lot of new opportunities popped up for me!

For starters, my main business has been growing to a point where I’ll soon be able to drop my full-time job! This has been a huge accomplishment for me, and a dream that I hope to continue pursuing. I had a vendor show this weekend, which was my most successful one thus far; I’ve already received messages from customers I met there, asking when my next show will be. >///< So, I’m beyond excited to be expanding out and doing more vendor shows.

I have also been given the opportunity to have my handmade goods sold in a Holiday Marketplace at a sort of “Handmade Farmer’s Market” which is in a very traffic-heavy location in my city! Plans are getting finalized as I write this, and set-up is on September 30th and it’ll be running until December 21st... Wo!

On top of this, I decided to go back to school. So at the moment, I have juggling WWC, a full time job, and school. This will be changing next week however, as I’ll be having shortened hours that will eventually lead to me leaving my job to focus on these endeavors.

So what does this mean for MSB?

With all of us busy doing our own thing, it’s going to mean some significant changes to how we run MoonSpiritBoutique. We’ll be introducing a Conjuration Ticket system, which will prevent us from taking on more Conjurations than we are able to in a given month. There will also be changes to the turnaround times of readings and spell castings, as those are not services we are able to perform anywhere unlike bonding with conjured beings.

We have also added a new piece to customer profiles where you can choose which Conjurer you prefer to work with. Whether it be due to their writing style, how they bond with beings, their binding techniques, etc. I hope that’ll allow for people to have a closer bond with their Conjurer at MSB!

Lastly, we are still looking for an individual or individuals to assist with emails and newsletter marketing. I’ll be reblogging the post concerning that shortly after this.

So, the update is being put on hold. I originally planned it for today (Saturday), but it may have to wait at least another 2 days (most likely 5). I really need to get completely caught up on my work before there is another flood of orders like what happened late October... Bah.

I also have a vendor’s show on the 27th, so I’m trying to juggle preparing for that and dealing with current orders!

Currently, there are 50+ RA readings that need completing. What will happen, is I will have those emailed out 6ish hours before the update goes live; this should give everyone plenty of time to decide whether the reading is accurate, and if they wish to adopt/reserve the vessel. Since there will not be over 50 different adoptable entities, there will be many entities that may call to several people, so it’ll be very important that you be quick to respond and either reserve or adopt if you are interested! Once again, if nobody comes forward in the RA reading, we return $5.00 in store credit to your account so you can try again at a later date. (If your RA reading was free, we do not give store credit).

But for now, I’m going to ship out all physical orders, then finish all the non-RA readings. I don’t have Luda until this evening, so that should give me plenty of time for that... Then emails can be dealt with, Custom conjures written up, etc.

Shout-out to Luda, who has stayed up with me for 2 consecutive days filling the remaining MSB and WWC orders. Literally couldn't have done it without her. Only orders left are those at WWC which were placed after my cut-off date of August 30th. They will be filled after I return. MSB orders except readings will be filled as normal. Readings already purchased have been completed, but RA readings will not be emailed until the website is back up. Luda has promised to have the website up before the 13th. I'll let you guys know as soon as I know! I'll be absent from today until October. I will be traveling Japan, meeting with friends, etc.... Cheers!

Gooooood afternoon, all! Got around to some emails today, and continuing to work on candle orders. 2 Custom Conjuration PDFs are scheduled to go out today, and there is just one physical order that needs to be packed up from MSB! A couple readings will most likely be done tonight/early tomorrow morning.

Luda & I are also working on a couple things that we hope to have launched after our vacation in September. Both nervous and excited for it, and I think it’s something that you guys will find value in.

Other things on the “To Do” list is finishing up the Archive pages. We’ve neglected them horribly, and we hope to get at least the basics set up before September. Then once things have settled down, we’ll flesh them out more, with details concerning each entity’s culture, hierarchy, beliefs, etc.

We are also looking to hire a couple artists to have artwork done for our Custom Conjuration listings. We are looking for high quality work, and preferably digital. If you are interested please feel free to email us. Include reference art and your pricing. ([email protected])

July 8th Update!

Thank you all for your patience! I am recovering well from my surgery, and have restarted my regular schedule of doing readings and services for MSB. Reading Orders #398, $413, #421, and $429 will be completed later today, and the rest will be completed on Saturday (July 9th). All prebound vessels and amulets will be shipped out late Friday/early Saturday. (Because apparently the strike doesn’t officially start until Monday July 11th)...
