Top 5 (Current) Video Games. Bonus (if u feel like it): Top 5 (Of All Time) Video Games.
I’m gonna view current as games I’ve played in the past year or so, not by release date:
Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Sim
Heroes of the Storm
Stardew Vally
XCOM Enemy Unknown (Specifically I’ve been playing with the Long War mod, which is a pretty through overhaul of a lot of parts of it)
Pillars of Eternity
As for All Time, which deliberately doesn’t overlap but that’s not a reflection on the above games:
I really hate to be *that guy* but I have replayed Ocarina of Time several times and enjoyed it every single one
I go back to minecraft a lot, particularly modded which kinda mixes the ‘design cool-looking stuff’ aspect of the base game with ‘design clever logistical solutions’ that appeals to the engineer in me
The Incredible Machine
NetHack (although like 90+% of my playthroughs ended in the mines before I got the chance to pull a reverse Hamlet and kill my father’s ghost)
Zeus: Masters of Olympus
serbamf replied to your post “this gay dads game is amazing i love it”
so who's your daddy?
I’m still working that out going on a few first dates first to see what’s what
black nail polish & sunrise for the aesthetic ask game? :D
black nail polish: do you have a bucket list? if so, what are the top three things?I’ve never had enough faith in my own survival to spend much time thinking about what I want to do before I die, but lately my big long-term life goals can be summarized by “I want my wife to tell our friends stories about my job as a librarian.”sunrise: pick a quote and describe what it means to you personally.A little cliche, maybe, but “Not all those who wander are lost” is kinda My Thing. I’ve never taken the straight path in life to anything [bc im gay huehuehue], I always kinda...make my own way and paint my own picture of what I want my life to be and figure out the best way to get myself there, and it works for me even if it might not be recognisable to other people or look anything at all like the Socially Prescribed Way of Doing Things. People started giving me stuff with that quote on it as a teen, and it’s the closest my parents have ever come to Understanding Me, so it’s just...near and dear to my heart.
H for those songs! I love this ask meme.
H: a song that reminds me of my childhood:
Sixteen Tonnes, this rendition by Ernie Ford
