like could you give me some ideas? i am begining to write again but its gotten boring, and i also doodle but i keep doing the same stuff all over again and idk i want to find a balance between drawing and writing, like these journals we see on here. i even bought a beatiful notebook today to get started, i feel so happy and appreciative these days and i have no one to share my excitement with so i want to keep receipts and write stuff to remind me of these good times..

oh i totally got ya! okay so i usually just kinda draw whatever, i do a lot of mandalas but thats just personal preference. basically your journal is your own book of expression, so dont base it off of what you see others journals looking like. decorate the cover if you want, carry it with you, draw in it, write in it, tape stuff in it. whatever you want to do, the more you do it the more you'll develop your own style! (and the easier it gets). express and describe what youre happy about, or what your day was like through writing and pictures and drawings and even just individual words. its really just whatever you want! and most importantly, stick with it. you wont always like how it looks when youre making it, but usually thats because youre comparing it to somebody else's work! remember that the reason the journals you see on here are so pretty is because they were made by people. hope you dont mind me posting this public, just because i get asked often about how to come up with journal ideas! much love to ya

why are some ppl so entitled like its your culture and even if its solely more emotional reasons you have every right to tell us what to do and not do with it. ppls feelings about their cultural identity is more important than other ppls right to decorate their foreheads to feel "indie"
