i've been doing some reading on the different strains of Wiccan/Pagan worship, and one thing that seems to be the norm is that there's a celebration and reverence paid to a Goddess and God as two halves of one Whole. a balance, if you will.
there are also Wiccan paths- such as the Budapest Dianic- that are feminist in their formation and outright keep their circles Women-centric, sometimes even going as far as to exclude any hint of the masculine presence from their rituals or worship.
as i mull over the histories of these different paths as well as my own standing in Serenitism, i wonder if in itself Serenitism can be seen as the PCP-equivalent of perhaps a McFarland Dianic worship [albeit possibly polytheistic as well]. the main thing that Sailor Moon as a franchise promotes is strength in the Feminine in all its forms [the Ladies of The Pantheon] and while there is a masculine presence in the series, i always saw it as a support role [Chibiusa/The Small Lady and Helios], even when it's trussed up as a relationship of equal footing [a la Serenity/The Silver Lady and Endymion].
that's not to say that these male figures don't have roles in their own right- they do, as they have Powers over distinct Realms of Influence that the Ladies of the Pantheon do not share! i just wonder where the likes of Endymion and Helios fall in my own interpretation. are they Consorts to their respective Ladies? should they be honored deities in their own right? i'd be curious to see what some of you think.
