Hi loves!

As you may or may not have noticed, I have rebranded! I am now @reaching-for-roses, formerly known as @serenityinthestorm.

The name Serene, as well as my previous username serenityinthestorm just wasn't quite fitting any more. Serene was a name I gave myself years ago when I was on a totally different spiritual path.

Now, on my new path, I have chosen Rose instead. Not only am I obsessed with roses aesthetically but roses were the first sign I got from Aphrodite which ended up leading me to the spiritual path I'm on now with Hellenism.

For me, reaching for roses is not only a symbol referencing my beginning with Hellenic Polytheism but also a reminder to search for the beauty in life; the positivity.

I want to thank my amazing friend @mythical-manda for the name idea! She is brilliant and lovely.

I also wanna take this time to thank all of my amazing followers! Thank you for reading and engaging with my posts. I appreciate it more than you know! Love you all! ❤

Hi!

This is @serenityinthestorm. This is one of my new side blogs I will be using as devotional shrines for each of the theos that I don't have actual physical shrines for at home. Whereas my main blog "Thoughts on the Theoi" is dedicated mainly to Aphrodite and Hermes, it is mostly about Hellenic Polytheism in general. These side blogs will act as a devotional activity for me to focus on each specific deity in order to hopefully honor them and become closer to them. At first I will start off with these three, @ladyhestiashearth, @dionysiandreams, and @floralcrowned for Hestia, Dionysus, and Persephone respectively because even though I don't always actively worship them, I do know and adore them. After awhile I will make one for each of the remaining theoi, whom I don't know as much about and would like to get to know better.

The goal is to have each shrine be filled with information about that particular deity, aesthetic posts that I consider fittingly appropriate and my own devotional activities and upgs. I will open each up for asks, and possibly in the future they will open for submissions as well.
