Ringer: I keep a picture of all of us in my wallet. Whenever I face difficulties, I take it out and stare at the picture.
The Squad: Awwww-
Ringer: And I tell myself "If I can deal with these idiots, then I can deal with anything."
The Squad: Oh.

Ringer: Shift! You gotta be more confident!
Apex: Yeah! You gotta be yourself!
Shift: PICK ONE! I CAN'T DO BOTH!
Apex: Give me everything you've got!
Shift: All your friends secretly hate you.
Apex: Wait, what?
Shift: I've got anxiety.
Umber, carrying a box: What would you say it- if I, hypothetically, came home with 7 kittens one day?
Shift:
Shift: What's in the box?
Umber: What woul-
Shift: Umber, what's in the box?
Umber: I think you know.
Fidget: I'm going to get myself some soup.
Shift: Be careful not to burn yourself, it's hot.
Fidget: Pift, I won't burn myself.
*30 seconds later*
Fidget, entering the room: I burned myself.
Here’s my anxious Guard boy, Shift! He’s sweet, but after getting a glass bottle smashed on his face, he doesn’t take his helmet off around anyone aside from his brothers and the Guard’s Jedi Nyla and Xanathe. He loves kids, but is very wary around non-clones otherwise. To avoid seeming weak, he hides behind his helmet when he’s upset.
He got his name because he seems to shift from happy and friendly to silent and serious in a split second when a non-clone enters the room.
Sketched my sweet Guard boy, Sergeant Shift! His armor looks pretty much the same as most of the Coruscant Guard, he’s just got a few minor differences on his legs.
His scar is from a riot when a civilian knocked his helmet off, then he got hit with a glass bottle. It cut his face up pretty bad, poor boy was bleeding all over the place.
Sergeant Shift
I made a Coruscant Guard boi, but I haven’t had time to design him yet, so here’s some stuff about him.
-he’s a Sergeant and his name is Shift, due to how quickly his behavior changes based on where he is and who he’s with.
-he’s a dorky goofball around his brothers, but the second a non-clone shows up, he goes quiet and serious.
-he’s usually an escort for senators or policing protests and riots, so he gets ignored, talked over/down to, insulted, screamed at, spit on, hit, and has had things thrown at him. Because of this, he has a pretty negative opinion of most non-clones, but he doesn’t mind the few senators that treat him like a person.
-he loves kids though. Put this boy with some kids, and he’ll be the happiest person ever.
-he’s an insecure boy, and will hide in his helmet to keep others from seeing his face when he’s upset. Do not take his helmet off without permission, you will get slapped or punched.
-he worries about how stressed his commanders are, especially Fox because he notices how Fox seems to get headaches a lot. (I’ve seen a headcanon about Fox having headaches due to being under the influence of the Dark Side because he’s around Palpatine so often, and it makes sense honestly)
-he’s got major mom friend vibes. He tries to take care of all of his brothers if they’ll let him. He makes sure Fox always has painkillers and water in his office and quarters so Fox doesn’t need to go looking for those things when he’s got a headache, he’ll bring all of his commanders caf if they’re up late doing paperwork, and he spends time with the shinies a lot to help them adjust to Coruscant Guard life
-overall, he’s a good boi, he’s just insecure and tired of dealing with rude people.
