Nathan's wearing silver rings, and has a couple of silver bullets in a gun, just in case, but when he heard the call from the nurse saying that someone had come in, 'healing fast and with sharp teeth', he 100% thought it was a vampire.
He's confused when he rocks up and sees the heart monitor, the sweat on Serig's brow, and hears his laboured breathing... This isn't a vampire. It's a dude.
But then Sergi snarls in his sleep and Nathan also sees those teeth that the nurse talked about. And yes, they are sharp, but aren't vampire sort of sharp. Also, it's not just fangs. The incisors are pointed too and the upper canines are mirrored by canines on the lower jaw... like a dog.
