It was a free day for Tomorrow by Together.
Seri had decided to sleep in. In her mind, a peaceful day was set. Ordering food, a movie and snacks, a workout with Taehyun, and maybe insert some messing around in the company building. She didn’t picture waking up to Choi line bickering in her and Yeonjun’s room.
“I’m literally older than Seri.” Beomgyu’s voice sounded like he was right next to her. True enough, the Daegu boy was sitting on her bed, a hand patting her shoulder as if she were a baby he was lulling to sleep. “This puts me on the older half of the group. Therefore, I am hyung line.”
“I mean, if you think of it,” Yeonjun began, “If we divide our age groups, we have 1999 and 2000 in hyung line and 2001 and 2002 in maknae line. Technically you’re part of maknae line.”
“My birthday gap with Soobin is literally smaller than my one with Seri.”
“He kinda has a point,” Soobin’s voice seemed to be getting closer to her, “but I do still want to go by Yeonjun hyung’s logic. It splits our age group perfectly. Good morning, Lily.”
She opened one eye to find Soobin smiling down at her.
Yeonjun scoffed from his bed. “Saying good morning to someone sleeping, huh?”
“She’s not asleep,” Soobin chuckled. “That’s my baby, of course I know when she’s awake.”
“I’m not your baby,” Seri muttered while sitting up. The bed shifted while Beomgyu left the room and Soobin sat next to her.
“She’s my baby,” Yeonjun gave a triumphant smile.
She held her hand up in his direction. “Not your baby, either.”
“Come on,” Yeonjun sighed, “We’re like two years apart. I’ve raised you since you entered the company. I know all the stuff you like, don’t like, and the food you’re not allowed to have.”
“Which I know as well since I’m her friend and leader.”
“But I take care of her the most.” The eldest member was pouting at this point. He didn’t even notice Beomgyu walk into the room with a bowl of cereal and a croissant she had saved for breakfast. “So what if you guessed she was awake once. I know her better, so I’m the better parent, right?”
Soobin watched Yeonjun rant amusedly. “Does there really have to be a better one, though? We both take care of her, anyway.”
“No, there doesn’t,” Seri laughed while accepting the bowl of cereal from Beomgyu who had made his way under her covers as well, “but Bammie’s in the running for top spot right now.”
Beomgyu smirked at the two elder Chois as he opened Seri’s laptop before putting on an innocent look. “Don’t tell me you guys forgot she likes having food after waking up before talking to anyone.”
The two 01 liners were quick to enter their own world, sharing their cereal while deciding what movie to watch before they would do their own thing. This left the two oldest members staring at them. They silently met eyes before deciding to leave the 01s to their thing, Yeonjun making sure to remember to restock the mini fridge he and Seri shared in their room.
Hiii I hope you’re fine 😄 Please take your time don’t feel pressured. Can we get a scenario in which Seri learns skateboarding with the members ?
Also can I be added on Seri’s taglist ?
here you go bub! sorry it took so long 😭, but here’s some seri learning how to skateboard aksjdhf and of course! i’ll add you to the taglist right away! 🥰💖
Seri watched her members helplessly as she gripped her skateboard. How were they doing that? Why were none of them falling off?
The jacket shooting had been full of those types of thoughts so far. It’s not like she didn’t like the concept. On the contrary, she loved it. She loved the way they were all styled, and she loved the overall vibe of it. It’s just that she had never tried skateboarding before, and she didn’t think she’d be able to get it in time for her shots.
Maybe she’d just settle for sitting shots.
“Noona!”
She was pulled out of her thoughts as Taehyun speedily made his way over to her. A laugh escaped her lips while she reached out to catch him so he wouldn’t skate past her.
“Slow down, Tyun,” she helped him off the board, “I don’t want you getting hurt. Also you’re tall enough without the board.”
“You should try skating.” The younger laughed when she gave him a pointed look. “It’s not as hard as you think! And you won’t get hurt, I promise.”
Taehyun took her board from her hands and placed it down. He held out his hands for her to take and gave her a slight pleading look.
“You better not let go of me.” Taehyun just laughed at that her nervousness.
For around five minutes, Taehyun walked around the flat area, pulling her along with him. Every now and then, she’d feel him pull harder then loosen his grip so she’d roll forward alone, but she’d tighten her hold on his sleeve to keep him from getting too far.
All of her little surprised noises and sudden tugs resulted into fond chuckles from Taehyun. While he knew that she trusted him with her life, he also knew that she really didn’t want to get any scabs just before promotions start.
“Break time, Tyun,” she pulled on his hands, “please? I need to get off of this accident on wheels before I fall off.”
He laughed at her once more and steadied the board with his foot for her to step off. “There you go. That wasn’t so bad, was it?”
The moment her feet hit solid ground, she plopped herself onto the ground and glared at the skateboard. The sounds of Taehyun’s chuckles accompanied with the excited hoots of Kai as he filmed on his skateboard snapped her out of her one-sided fight.
She watched Taehyun as he settled next to her on the ground. The two of them watched Kai in silence. An unknowing smile made its way onto her face while she watched Kai have the time of his life goofing off with his skateboard. The added sight of the staff chasing after him for his cuts was a bonus.
“You see that?” Taehyun pointed to his fellow 02 liner. “Kai just keeps going without a second thought. That’s how it should be. Think of this as another confidence lesson. Keep going forward without doubting or having second thoughts.”
She looked him up and down before fondly shaking her head. “You really are living up to your title as TXT’s King Solomon.”
“Come on, noona! You can’t tell me you didn’t have fun on the skateboard!”
“Well...”
The younger got up from where he was sitting and pulled her up with him. With the slightest reluctance, she followed him. It wasn’t that far of a distance, she just found herself standing in front of the skateboard once again.
“Tyun...”
“Noona...” Her eyebrows raised at his imitating tone. “Just try. Go fast once, and I swear I’ll be running right beside you to catch you if you fall.”
She looked at his pleading eyes for a second before relenting and stepping on the skateboard. “Fine, but only here on the flat part.”
Taehyun’s enthusiastic nodding was all she needed to push off.
She pushed a few more times, harder than she did previously. True to his word, Taehyun was right beside her the whole time.
“Woah,” she exchanged a look with him. The wind flowed through her hair, a free feeling overtaking her.
“Feels nice, huh?” She could only nod at Taehyun’s question, a big grin on her face. “I told you it would be fun.”
“Okay, you win this,” she laughed before a frown made it’s way to her face. “Tyun, I don’t know how to stop!”
Could you write a scenario in which the maknaes become jealous of Enhypen’s Ni-Ki because Seri and Ni-Ki collaborated together on the New Year Eve Live concert so she doesn’t pay attention to their younger brothers ?
im actually doing decent, thank you 🥰 this is perfect bc i was planning for seri to have a collab stage in terms of dance (bc she did a vocal stage with yoonmi) so yayyyy! also please forgive me, im not to familiar with ni-ki aksjdhfh
“So you kinda have to use your legs to activate your hands before stretching them out... Yeah, like that! It looks great, noona!”
Seri grinned at the younger boy’s praise. She was in the practice room with Ni-ki while going over their collaboration stage. Though she was struggling a bit to follow through with what the choreographer showed them three sessions ago, Ni-ki had been helping her through it all.
“Should we go through it one more time before calling it a day?”
“I’m way ahead of you.”
She pressed play and quickly got into position. Their next run went by quickly without much mistakes, but she noted some parts where she could shift her limbs a little to look less awkward.
“Thanks, Ni-ki,” she handed him a water bottle. “I’m sorry you have to dim down your skills to do this stage with me.”
The younger’s eyes widened as he rapidly shook his head. “No, I like this, noona! And you’re a really good dancer, just not confident.”
“You know what? You’re being sweet, so I’ll treat you to lunch before you practice with your members.”
“You’re an angel sent from above.”
“Don’t act like you didn’t pay yesterday.”
The two of them quickly gathered their things before heading out of the practice room. Taehyun caught them as they were putting on their masks and getting ready to leave.
“Oh, noona,” he smiled, “hi, Ni-ki. Noona, Kai and I were gonna go watch a few Youtube videos while eating before practice. Wanna join us?”
“Ni-ki and I are buying lunch, but later when I get back, okay, Tyun?” She patted his cheek and led Ni-ki out the door.
Taehyun could only wave with a tight-lipped smile while Ni-ki abruptly waved. His head hung low once the doors closed. With a sigh, he turned back towards their practice room.
“Did you get noona?” Kai asked his fellow maknae the moment the older walked into the room. Upon seeing Taehyun shake his head, the younger sighed.
“This whole week,” he sprawled himself across the floor, “I haven’t gotten to spend lunch with Seri noona this whole week.”
“None of us have,” Taehyun frowned. “I mean, it’s nice that she’s getting along well with Ni-ki because it would make their collab stage a lot nicer if they had good chemistry, but she never took that much time to practice with Miya.”
The two 02 liners were frustrated. It’s not that they were frustrated with the Enhypen maknae himself. Not at all. Seri usually ate lunch with one of the two boys, even back before she graduated high school, so they were quite upset about not being able to see her.
Taehyun and Kai, both disappointed at having missed the chance to spend time with their noona, turned to the laptop in the room and began watching what they had planned in silence.
Meanwhile, Seri chatted animatedly about who knows what while leading Ni-ki to a cafe nearby that she hasn’t taken him to yet.
“Noona, is Taehyun hyung okay?”
“Why wouldn’t he be?” Seri asked.
“Well,” the younger boy scratched the back of his neck, “he looked a little upset a while ago when we were heading out. I think he wanted to eat with you.”
Seri, despite not being able to show it through her mask, gave a fond smile. She knew that her maknaes were feeling somewhat upset, which is why she decided to bring Ni-ki to this specific cafe. They had this specific chocolate bread that Kai loved and a pasta dish that usually made Taehyun excited whenever she comes back to the dorm with it. To make up for the past week of missing out on lunch, she was planning on buying those for them. That didn’t mean she couldn’t take her hoobae group’s maknae out to eat at the same time, though.
“He’ll be fine,” Seri reassured the younger. “I’ve got something in mind for him and Hyuka. For now though, let’s head on in. There’s this drink that I think you might like.”
Soon enough, just fifteen minutes later, Seri was making her way into the TXT practice room. She had dropped Ni-ki off at the Enhypen practice room with the agreement of just eating takeout to not risk being exposed to any sickness outside. When she entered her own practice room, though, she was met by the cold silence of the two 02 liners. She shook her head fondly at them while removing her coat and spraying alcohol all over it.
“You two having fun?”
“You wouldn’t know.” Kai’s grumble was so low that she almost didn’t hear it.
Taehyun, on the other hand, chose not to look at her when he spoke. “How was lunch?”
“I don’t know,” she laughed at Taehyun’s slightly hostile way of asking. “I was thinking we could talk about lunch together, you know?”
She put the two fairly large paper bags in front of them, the familiar logo catching their attention. The two boys sat up straight and watched as Seri set the containers of food down in between them, as well as the drinks she had bought.
“I thought you were having lunch with Ni-ki again.” Taehyun’s eyes widened when he saw her grabbing three sets of forks out of the bag instead of two.
“I said we were buying lunch,” she poked Taehyun’s cheek. “Listening skills, Tyun.”
Taehyun’s cheeks reddened a little at his misunderstanding while Kai hit the older’s leg.
“But weren’t you going to eat with Ni-ki?”
“Heesung would’ve fought me if I took his maknae from him again,” she laughed. “Besides, I have my maknaes practically craving my attention.”
She pinched their cheeks, in turn making them frown at her. Taehyun lightly pulled her hand away from his face while Kai swatted it away.
“No we aren’t.”
“You guys are clingy, you know that? But don’t ever change that.”
Heyyyy could I please request a scenario with seri and yeonjun??? Maybe protective big bro yeonjun, lots of angst ! Thank you :)
of course hun! sorry this took pretty long though 🤧 anyway, here’s some yeonri for youuuu (but it’s not really angsty asdkjkf i don’t really know where i was headed with this)
Yeonjun was worried for Seri, that was for sure.
Beomgyu and Taehyun had come back from school without her saying she told them to go ahead because she had something to study and work on. Understandably, she was in the year above them, so they didn’t have the same classes, but she always made sure to go home with Beomgyu and Taehyun.
That’s how he found himself standing in front of her school, waiting for her to come.
He checked his phone. It was already seven, so why was she not coming out. He was getting antsy to the point where the security guard took pity on him and just let him go inside. He quickly raced to her classroom only to find her hunched over books. She had fallen asleep on her desk. With a sigh of relief, he approached her. He raised his hand to shake her awake, but his eyes fell on something crumpled on the ground by her feet. He didn’t know why, but he picked it up and read it.
“Oh, god no,” he muttered as he processed what he was reading. It looks like some people (three by the looks of the different handwritings on the paper) were saying bad things about Seri. Mostly about how she was a fake who didn’t deserve to debut… He saw names in the corner. Seyeon, Minseo, and Ahreum. He kept those names in mind.
“Aigoo, Yoon Seri,” Yeonjun shook his head before kneeling down next to her sleeping form and gently shaking her awake. “Lily? Wake up. Time for us to go home.”
“Home?”
He watched her slowly sit up and stretch to get her senses back in order. The way she stretched made him smile a little. Of all the times she could resemble a cat, it was most evident when she stretched.
“Oh,” she was taken back when she saw her eldest member beside her, “oppa? What are you doing here?”
“I came to pick you up,” he smiled at how she only then processed he was the one who woke her up. “This is the first time I’ve been in your classroom, huh? How about you show me around?”
Seri nodded excitedly before standing up and showing Yeonjun the different parts of their classroom. “This is my seat! I sit beside Chaeryoung. You know her from Itzy. We usually stick together because we miss about the same amount of classes. Our board has thies little messages we all wrote for our future selves, look!”
He followed her and looked at the series of papers on the corner of their board. He took a look at hers. You’ll do well with them by your side as long as you’re you. It was something simple yet so encouraging, especially to someone like Seri. He lightly ruffled her hair.
“Cute,” he told her before taking her hand and her bag. She picked up her folder and papers just before he pulled her out. Yeonjun made a mental note to set the four 01 and 02 liners’ alarms later by a bit for the next day.
Yeonjun was peacefully scrolling through his phone when the door to the bedroom opened. He glanced up and saw Seri place her bag on her bed and walk towards him.
“You’re home early today,” he sat up when she settled on his bed. “No after school project working or studying?”
“Not today,” she crossed her legs before placing three sheets of paper in between them. “Care to explain what these are?”
He picked up the papers and skimmed through them. A smirk made its way up to his face when he realized what they were. He wiped the grin off his face and feigned ignorance.
“Are these written apologies? What’s wrong? Did someone do something bad to you?”
“These three classmates who don’t really like me gave them to me today,” she raised her eyebrow. “You don’t suppose it has something to do with the fact that our alarms were set one hour later than usual this morning, do you?”
“You think so?” He asked her, a small smile on his face.
“Stop,” she laughed, “I know it was you. Chaeryoung told me you came in this morning and talked to them. How’d you even know?”
“I saw the note yesterday,” he admitted, “and I guess it was pretty obvious considering you don’t talk much about school. I mean, you’re taking up musical theatre, so it’s a little suspicious you don’t talk our ears off about it.”
He grunted a little when Seri lunged forward and hugged him. “Thank you, oppa. You didn’t have to.”
“It’s you,” he hugged her back. “I wanted to. Just make sure to tell me if they get back at it, okay?”
“As long as you promise you won’t use threatening or violence.”
He laughed but nodded. As long as she was happy and not being brought down then he was fine with doing anything.
guuurl what about TXT pranking Seri by ignoring her all day ? (she ends up crying 😢)
daaaamn this took me like over a week before i wrote it? sorry aksjdh but sure hun! 🥰 but seri doesn’t really cry about stuff like this, she mostly gets frustrated but that’s it... i changed stuff around too if that’s okay akshdhfhd anyway, here you go! and sorry it’s so late 🤧
“This is stupid.”
“Why are you so irritateble?”
Seri slumped to the floor as she grabbed her bag. She gave Yeonjun a glare, something she hasn’t done since the first few weeks she was a trainee. Now that they were living together to prepare for debut, and training in LA for the summer, she had grown a lot closer to the boys.
But this was the first time they’ve seen her like this.
Well, Everyone but Beomgyu.
“Why are you being irritating?” she turned away from Yeonjun and walked out the studio, slamming the door behind her.
Beomgyu gasped when he checked his phone, “I forgot to check! I’ll be right back.”
He made a show of grabbing his wallet and tossing his backpack to Taehyun, asking the younger to take it back to their dorm for him.
“I’m going to be leading this group,” Soobin sighed as he brought the other three together. “Seri seems so stressed out.”
“She lashed out for no reason,” Yeonjun frowned. “If she’s just gonna get mad, then I might as well not talk to her.”
Soobin looked at the older in surprise. Yeonjun loved spending time with Seri. The 00 liner looked at his two maknaes who were exchanging looks. It was almost as if the two boys were wondering if they should do the same.
He sighed. Considering Seri was in a mood where she could be easily set off, it was probably a good idea to back off.
“You know what,” he began, “let’s just steer clear of Seri for a bit, okay? She’s in a bad mood, and we don’t want to accidentally make it worse.”
And that’s what they did.
The rest of the afternoon, the four boys avoided Seri at all costs. It wasn’t hard considering she mostly stayed in her room and only came out every now and then.
Seri walked out of her room to find something cooking. Yeonjun was standing by the stove, and it looked like he was making pasta.
“Pasta for dinner?” she asked him.
She got a weird feeling when he said nothing, but she shrugged it off. Maybe he didn’t hear her. She took a glass and filled it up with water. Taehyun walked past her on the way to the bedroom from the living room.
“Hey, Tyun,” she smiled. “Water?”
The younger simply shook his head and kept walking. She frowned. This was getting weirder by the second. She sat in the living room where Soobin was watching tv. Her leader didn’t even glance at her and kept his eyes on the screen. It should be understandable considering there was a soccer game playing, but something still seemed unsettling to her.
“Hyung!” Kai came running into the room, but he froze when he saw Seri on the couch. She gave him a smile, but he looked a little panicked. “Nevermind.”
It was Kai running back to the bedroom that did it for her. She turned to Soobin who had faced the screen once again.
“You guys are avoiding me.” Her voice held disbelief. Soobin’s head snapped towards her while she sat up straighter in realization. “What? You’re just going to straight up avoid me for the rest of the trip?”
“Seri, hear me out,” Soobin began cautiously. “You were in a bad mood. We just didn’t want to accidentally trigger anything.”
“And you thought I wouldn’t get upset with you guys avoiding me like that?” she asked. “Is that why the dorm was so quiet the past two hours?”
“We thought you were mad at us!”
“I wasn’t mad,” she stood up, “I was in pain because Yeonjun oppa squeezed my stomach too hard when he hugged me after training.”
“What does that have to do with any— oh.” Soobin cut himself off. “Oh, don’t tell me...”
“I’m home!” Beomgyu yelled as he walked through the door. “It took me a whole two hours to find this for you, Seri. You know how hard it is to get New Zealand brand stuff here?”
Beomgyu walked over to the couch and handed Seri a paper bag. From inside, he took out what looked like a little cat filled with micro-beads. Seri looked into the paper bag, and a small smile graced her face. There were chocolate bars like the ones she brought to Korea from New Zealand. She had run out over three month ago, and she didn’t know where she’d get more. There was a pack of pads in there as well, but it was wrapped in a smaller paper bag.
“You’re the only one who cares about me, Gyu,” she gave him a hug then glared at Soobin. “These guys have been avoiding me since we got back from training.”
“Aigoo, you haven’t been getting affection, huh?” he chuckled and pushed her in the direction of their shared room with Soobin. “I’ll heat this cat up, then we can watch a movie on your laptop.”
She pouted at him but walked to her room. Soobin’s eyes just widened when he watched Beomgyu shake his head and walk over to the microwave.
“Hyung,” Soobin rushed towards Yeonjun, “you made a huge mistake!”
Beomgyu chuckled at his two older members as Soobin frantically explained why she was being moody.
“I told you guys to prepare for the first week,” he chuckled to himself as the two elders rushed to Kai and Taehyun to make an apology plan. “Seri always gets her period on the first week of the month.”
whenever these two are together, they always speak a chaotic mix of korean and english. seri firmly believes she can make yeonjun develop an kiwi accent like taehyun kinda did, and he just plays along with it. fans have pointed out that he slowly developed a slight kiwi accent as like a habit after playing along with seri’s motives.
also, it’s by talking to each other that really bumped up yeonjun’s english skills from good to great
the fans have noticed that these two have little inside jokes in english, and there are many videos talking about these inside jokes and trying figure it out but no one has been able to crack their code, not even the other members
they speak a lot of konglish, too. they do it to the point where even the people around them end up mixing the two languages together
Yeonjun aka Seri’s dad
it’s common knowledge within the fandom that yeonjun will fight anyone who tries to claim seri isn’t his kid he will literally “i’ve been raising her since 2017!”
he will take care of her, play with her, and talk to her like she’s his daughter, no holding back whatsoever
he even goes “uri ddal” a lot which is like an endearing way of saying “my daughter” and the fans literally live for this there are so many compilations of it
then there’s the fact that whenever seri so much as accomplishes a task or wins a game, she immediately turns to yeonjun like she’s looking for his approval
she said it so many times, she wants to make yeonjun proud, and yeonjun always says he’s always proud of her
Animal cafe dates
yeonjun likes taking seri on trips to animal cafes specifically
like yeah they can take other members and it isn’t a problem, but it’s just way more special if it’s the two of them
yeonjun posts pictures and videos of seri happily playing with the animals whenever they go
and seri will always talk about it in a vlive a few days after they go with a light in her eyes
fans even spot them sometimes, and they’re always reported to be so content with talking to each other and playing with all the animals there
The disrespectful guy incident
long story short, basically yeonjun had to come and pretend he was seri’s boyfriend when a random guy hit on her in LA.
she was clearly uncomfortable and very put off by the guy
this somehow made it into the episode of talk by together (the predebut ones of them in LA)
protective yeonjun had everyone uwuing but also everyone was frustrated over the guy who kept trying to push himself onto her
“Tiny child”
yes, in english
it was literally just a random behind the scenes moment while filming a music video yeonjun was watching seri film her cut and he had a fond smile on his face the whole time
he turns to the camera and laughs “see that? that’s a tiny child”
and like seri comes over to monitor, and she asks yeonjun how she did so he stands next to her and looks at the shot with her
he laughs once he sees how the camera captured her and just “tiny child” “i’m 168cm! i’m not that small!” “nope, you are tiny child”
Bonus: Something Fans don’t know:
fans know that they talk about their days to each other, but they don’t know that they often write notes to each other in their notebooks, on sticky notes by their beds, and all that
Could I request for a scenario of Yoonmi having a studio session with Beomgyu without her members knowing then when her members find out, they kind of get jealous especially the rap line or maybe the vocal line idk haha but whoever she usually has studio sessions with? And there’s a small (erm emotional) argument but eventually just fluff in the end bc she was working on a song for them and she just wanted Beomgyu’s help or smth?
And (this one isnt really the main request) but as a follow up, the scenario could also have the side of Seri being a jealous noona bc Beomgyu usually only helps her but obviously miya took up some of gyu’s time?
hmmmm she’s worked on music with a bunch of other people before, so the members are kind of used to it, so imma modify that a little bit aksjdhf also seri is younger than beomgyu by a few months so she can’t be a jealous noona aksjdhf 👉🏻👈🏻 but lezzgeddit
italic conversations are spoken in english ✊🏻
Yoonmi smiled while giving Beomgyu a hug before he left her studio.
“Thanks so much, Gyu,” she told him. “I genuinely couldn’t figure out how to make this sound less off by myself.”
“Anytime,” he told her before looking at his phone. His eyes widened. “I have to go! Call if you need more help or more opinions!”
“Will do!”
Yoonmi laughed while watching him run to the elevator. She turned around and saw Hoseok standing by the door of his own studio
“He just came from your studio,” he began. “You told us no one could go to your studio while you worked on this song.”
“No,” she smiled apologetically, “I said you Bangtan oppas can’t come in. I just needed help figuring something out from Beomgyu.”
“Do you want me to give it a go?” he asked hopefully.
She shook her head. “Not yet, oppa. See you later!”
With that, she went back into her studio. Hoseok frowned a little. She usually got help from him, or maybe Yoongi or Namjoon. Why’d she ask a trainee for help? Confused, he shut his studio door and went towards Yoongi’s.
Not even fifteen minutes later, Yoonmi saw her studio door opening on the reflection of her monitor. She minimize her tabs and pressed pause as fast as possible before turning to see her best friend looking at her accusingly.
“Oppa, I told you guys not to come in here today!”
“But Hobi hyung said you let a trainee in here?” Jungkook asked.
“Technically speaking, he’s debuting in a bit,” Yoonmi reasoned, “but I just needed his opinion on this!”
Jungkook just huffed and grabbed a grape juice from her mini fridge before settling himself on her beanbag.
“I’m not leaving here until I hear that song.”
She giggled at his actions and pulled out her phone to message their group chat.
“Fine. It’s practically done anyway.”
me: oppas! come over to my studio, please, thank you
leader: you sure?
hobihobi: that’s not what you were saying a while ago ㅜㅅㅜ
me: pleaaaaaase! i have a present~
sugar: give us a while princess
me: see you in a few 💜
She looked up to see Jungkook with a pout on his face. She went to give him a hug, which, much to her amusement, he fully welcomed despite being pouty.
“You’re gonna love this, I swear,” she poked his chin. He just grumbled in response.
They waited about five minutes before her studio door started beeping again. It opened to reveal the six other boys walking in at once. She nearly laughed at the thought of them gathering outside before entering her studio.
“Take a seat, oppas,” she clapped while jumping off of Jungkook and settling into her computer chair. “This is why I’ve temporarily locked you all out. Since Ggukoo oppa made his intentions clear of not leaving until he knows why, I’m gonna play it for you guys now.”
Before anyone could talk, she pressed play, and a twinkling melody filled the room. She hugged her plushie to her chest while observing her members’ faces for their reactions.
“You’ve got me,” she mumbled along, “I dream while looking at you. I got you inside those pitch black nights.”
She had originally intended to make a fan song, but words came out, and it felt more like something she was dedicating to them.
Once the song ended, the seven boys stared at her. She smiled at them.
“I was gonna make another version for the fans, but I wanted to give this to you guys first,” she explained.
“Yah,” Hoseok pulled her over for a hug. “Why didn’t you say that in the first place?”
“It was supposed to be a surprise,” she reasoned.
Jimin and Seokjin sandwiched her to Hoseok in a tighter hug. Meanwhile, Taehyung approached her computer to look through the lyrics she had typed down.
“It sounds amazing,” Namjoon told her. She somehow managed to smile at him despite being in the middle of a four-person hug and having Yoongi squish her cheeks. “I like the adlib melody in the chorus especially.”
“Beomgyu helped me figure that one out,” she laughed. “He helped me with the bridge, too.”
“You didn’t call for me to help?” Yoongi asked her.
“I wanted it to be a surprise,” she reminded him before turning to Jungkook. He looked down at his hands, not saying anything. She escaped from the other boys’ hold (much to Seokjin’s dismay) and approached the other maknae. “Oppa, did you like it?”
“I love it!” Jungkook looked up at her, eyes wide as if he was scared of offending her. Then he sighed and ran a hand through his hair. “It’s just that... Well, I’m always the first to hear your songs.”
“You’re part of the people I wanted to surprise,” She placed a quick kiss on his cheek. “I promise, you’re still the person I show my songs to first, unless it’s a surprise for you.”
Yoongi turned to Namjoon when he heard that. “I don’t know if I should be offended or not.”
The six boys watched their maknaes with curiosity. They never witnessed the serious side between these two since they mostly kept that for when they were alone.
Jungkook pulled Yoonmi into a hug and rested his cheek on her head. “Your words, not mine.”
She laughed an hugged him back, making the six boys cheer.
“Let’s go order kimchi jiggae back at the dorm!” Taehyung yelled. “We’re definitely keeping the chorus and the bridge if Yoonmi wants to remake this song for the fans.”
“I’m fine with that,” she grinned. “The verses, we should change. I want them to be just for you. Also, I want you guys to write for ARMYs, too.”
Meanwhile at the TXT dorm...
Beomgyu practically flew into the dorm the moment he opened the door. He was greeted with the sight of Seri sitting in their common area looking a little upset.
“Kitty, I’m so sorry,” Beomgyu apologized while shrugging off his jacket and kicking his shoes of. “I got caught up helping Yoonmi with a song.”
“You were supposed to be here an hour ago,” she frowned at him.
“I know, I’m sorry,” Beomgyu sat next to her. “I just genuinely lost track of time.”
For a whole two weeks, they had planned to have a movie marathon, just the two of them. They were both excited, and Seri even saved up her allowance to buy them more snacks for that day.
Beomgyu looked at her guiltily. She had set up the common area with blankets and pillows. She even took some of Kai’s plushies for maximum comfort.
“You didn’t even tell me where you were,” she looked away from him. “It would have been better if you told me you were going to Yoonmi’s ahead of time, but I sat here for an hour not knowing where you were or when you would come. But I get it. You’ve been a fan of Yoonmi for years, so being able to help her with music is a priority.”
“I’m sorry,” Beomgyu couldn’t do anything but apologize. “But you should know that you’re the second most important girl in my life right now.”
“Second?”
“Well, my mom always has to be the first,” Beomgyu tried to get her to laugh. She gave a small smile. “But I really am sorry. I’ll make it up to you.”
“Just, don’t do this again,” she mumbled. “I was just worried.”
Beomgyu pulled her into a hug. “I won’t. I’ll keep you updated always, and I’ll even buy the snacks for our next movie marathon! I give you permission to pester me if I forget.”
She relaxed into his hold, and that’s when Beomgyu knew she wasn’t mad. He scooted them around so she sat between his legs with his chin on her shoulder, both of them facing the laptop. He pressed play, and their movie marathon began.
Could I request for Seri climbing into bed next to one of the members when she wakes up from a nightmare? Then the next morning where everyone teases her but also makes sure to watch her carefully to ensure that she’s not too shaken from her nightmare?
I’m not sure I make sense tho 😅
it made sense, don’t worry hun!
seri doesn’t usually get shaken up easily, so she does pretty well at like keeping it down, so this is mostly just the boys knowing something’s off, so they lighten the mood and comfort her in subtle ways... except beomgyu
hope you enjoy!
She woke up with a gasp.
Seri say bolt upright, hand on her forehead while she tried to calm her breathing. Her heart was palpitating as if she just drank too many espresso shots, and she was out of breath. She gulped and carefully snuck out of her bed and tiptoed over to Soobin.
She rarely ever got scared, but she had just witnessed dream Soobin get kidnapped right in front of her. She needed the reassurance that he was still there, so she crept into his bed next to him and went to sleep knowing he was right in front of her.
What she didn’t know was that Kai would wake up just a few minutes later to lie down by Soobin’s side like he usually did, but figure out he isn’t able to because someone took his spot.
Seri woke up late the next day in a slight panic when she realized her leader wasn’t next to her. She rushed out the bedroom door to find all five members already eating breakfast. She cautiously sat down on her seat in between Taehyun and Beomgyu, trying to make sure no one noticed her strange entrance.
“Good morning,” Yeonjun placed a kiss on her forehead before resting a bowl of rice in front of her and walking back to his seat.
“Good morning,” she called back.
Taehyun placed a slice of egg roll on her plate and handed her a chicken leg that had looked untouched on his plate. She tilted her head at him in confusion but thanked him.
“Did you sleep well?” Soobin asked her. She froze a little bit. “You should have woken me up last night if you wanted to sleep next to me.”
“I wanted to sleep next to you,” Kai playfully pouted, “but noona beat me to it.”
“You never really sleep in anyone else’s bed unless it’s me or Yeonjun hyung,” Beomgyu poked her side. “Are you finally accepting the fact that you’re baby sized?”
“I am not,” she rolled her eyes. “I just— I wanted to sleep next to our leader. Is that so bad? We cuddle all the time!”
“It’s not bad, noona,” Taehyun laughed. “It’s just new. I think you are getting used to being baby sized.”
She snorted but went back to her food. Beomgyu opened his mouth to make a remark, but she elbowed him before she could say anything.
The rest of breakfast went by with them talking about their schedule for the day and their plans for their practice session. She didn’t notice Beomgyu slip away until he sat next to her and stealthily handed her a little plastic bag. It had a plain butter croissant from a bakery that she knew opened at 6am everyday. It was already half past eight, so that meant Beomgyu must have bought it right when the store opened.
“I don’t know what it is,” he whispered, “but your dream seemed stressful. I heard you muttering. Don’t be to shaken up, okay? I got you.”
“Thank you,” she whispered to him.
Pretty soon, breakfast was over, and everyone went to get ready for the day. Soobin had slipped to the kitchen since it was his day to do the dishes. She found her legs carrying her to the kitchen and watching his figure from behind.
Seri didn’t even realize she was moving closer to him until she had wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his shoulder. Soobin jumped a little bit in shock before chuckling.
“You should be getting ready,” he told her.
“I know. I just wanted to hug you.”
“I’m always here for that,” Soobin reassured her. She held on the slightest bit tighter when he said those words.
She would make sure of that. Because she doesn’t know what she’d do without him.
