Killer Chat AU - Liam's Introduction Card

Soooo…

A friend told me that my character (Liam) reminded them of the game “Killer Chat!” because its plot consists of its main character (who is a writer working on a crime story) ending up in a server full of actual serial killers after they were found asking suspicious questions through the dark web — and now they had to pretend to be a serial killer themself in order to safely gather realistic references for their serial killer protagonist (while also getting a love interest in the process — because this is a dating chatsim).

Meanwhile my character is an actual serial killer author who kills people to gather authentic references for his horror novels 💀

So yea, I made these because I was really curious as to what it'd be like if Liam were to be in this game lmao

(Also Liam's whole “I'm a retired serial killer” thing was bullshit.

And fyi: he was called “The Ghostwriter” because of his lack of consistent methodology [and obviously because he's a writer]. The moniker was likely picked out for him [low-key unwillingly] by other killers in the server because “everybody else has a name.” But yea, he doesn't actually have a “serial killer name” outside the server — since the authorities never managed to actually connect his crimes to a single individual. Heck, some of them could've possibly even been mistakenly attributed to any of the other killers)

Character idea:

Serial killer author who only kills people because they want to make sure that the gore, deaths, and other stuff in their writing are as accurate as possible

The police find the bodies and don’t even connect them together because the people they choose are completely random because they just choose whoever’s easy and they kill in wildly different ways each time because they are only killing to get accurate information

They still get reviews saying that the gore and deaths are inaccurate

Name: William Lemaître (he's Franco-American), or simply Liam.

Age: Around his late 30s to early 40s when his story takes place (which takes place in the 1980s).

Personality: Liam is an emotionally detached and pragmatic horror author who prioritizes his craft above all else. He has a dry, deadpan demeanor (maybe think of Saiki Kusuo from “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K”), and views people as tools of inspiration for his work. Despite his reserved nature, he does have a rather unhinged sense of humor (like a lot of artists). His obsession with authenticity drives both his writing and his crimes.

Basic character concept: serial killer author.

This is a character for an original story I had in mind based on the concept of an obsessive and perfectionistic horror author who would go through extreme lengths to make his novels feel ‘realistic’ and ‘immersive’ (he's basically a serial killer [and possible cannibal] who uses his victims as first-hand experiences for his writings [and noting down the experiences in notebooks/journals]—his methods tend to be really inconsistent due to different things happening within his stories).

The name of the story in question is “Author's Note”

His character is also kinda multifandom-esque (he had a FNAF AU) so...

Bonus: “Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees” AU design

He actually lives in a city, but he would sometimes go on trips to towns... and sometimes a town would end up becoming an unlucky subject of his “research.”

Some more Liam content — particularly stuff related to the story I've been working on (which he's the protagonist of), called “Author's Note”.

This is about its beginning and ending.

With that said, here's a totally not lore relevant kitty! (Her name's Penelope/Nellie)

I'm now gonna be putting important disclaimers for the contents down below, because the subject matter is quite disturbing/upsetting. So proceed at your own risk.

It involves an animal — this kitten specifically.
