I was wondering what your thoughts were on if Stu had never met billy if he still would've become a killer down the line. I mean he ✨says✨ it was peer pressure but knowing he was a lil psychopathic and wanted to kill as much as his motive was for Billy. But I think that while billy and him fed off of eachother and started killing early on, if they had never met I feel like something would've made Stu snap later on.
I think Stu def would have become a killer later, I just think it would be way less planned and way more impulsive.
He seems like he would accidentally kill someone, like he accidentally shoots someone while hunting or gets too into a fight outside a bar and it's this moment where things click and he's like "Oh", and thats it, he's definitely going to do it again.
He wouldn't have the revenge motive on the first kill, (even if he ends up killing someone out of revenge later, I wouldn't put it past him) the first time it would just be pure impulse.
I actually think a lot of his kills would be fairly unmotivated, and he might actually be a decently hard to catch serial killer because he wouldn't have much of a modus operandi. He would be trying out different things for fun, probably would do some movie inspired kills (he definitely suffocates someone with a plastic bag at some point).
In 2017 he's like, going into peoples houses and telling their Alexas to play despacito while he slaughters them, then leaves their roomba's to drag blood all over the house.
I don't think Stu even needed to snap exactly, he just needed to break the seal so to speak.
