I don't really know how to process both that he's gone and that the show is done. No more. Like that's it, no more Homelander. How do I pick things up as if nothing happened now 😭
I'm so heartbroken by how much he pleaded for his life. He wants to live so bad. Even with his powers gone he's humiliating himself on live TV just to have a shot at life. How can I cheer that? How am I meant to watch the one guy built by Vought die and cheer as Vought still stands? He didn't know what he actually wanted and abused the world for it. I'd like to imagine that he could find happiness in the mundane had he been given the chance.
My mash hot take is that Margaret was right in “Images” Cooper ran out in the middle of surgery and cringed when bandaging a patient’s wound. How’d this girl get through med school?? Yet the whole moral is kind of about ‘oh Margaret stop being so hard on her :( she’s trying’ but she’s right!! It’s a mash unit! If you can’t bandage a wound without cringing and looking away or running away during a surgery you aren’t ready yet!! #margaretwasright!
spencer eating you out for hours for his own pleasure after a fuck ass stressful case. he'd be grinding himself on the sheets but he wouldn't fuck you just yet not until you be good and squirt for him and when you do he'll fuck you hard but still so sweet make you beg for more even though you're absolutely fucked out of your mind and you can't even form coherent words. and he'd continue just as you begged for it and he'd even get off more seeing how you're nothing but a whimpering moaning cock drunk mess. when he's done with you he'll take care of you not after cleaning you with his mouth first and making you cum one more time. but it's all worth it for the sweet sweet aftercare.
Everyone going to II’s 15th anniversary at regal Atlantic Station, keep an eye out for this thing
one of the things that annoys me most about sexism in the pitt is that robby gets to have these moments of heroism where he can call out sexism in front of the entire clinic with the whole “brief nudity or death?!!!” scene as well as having the space in the narrative to be flawed and fucked up. part of me wonders if the writing is intentionally this way to show how inherently sexist the medical field is, but then i also don’t know if i trust the writers that much? because obviously robby is the big one with the “mommy issues” and internalised sexism, but he’s allowed it because he has large moments of his saviour complex making him look like he’s just one of the good guys? idk if this rant makes sense. all i know is that i want to see more of trinity making correct calls AND being flawed in her personal life. i want to see victoria’s kindness not being taken for weakness, but her still being kind! i want to see baran standing on business without reverting to punching down like robby and frank. i just desperately want to see these wonderful female characters be allowed to have their flaws while also being competent in their craft sometimes!
father & son lowkey
Every once in a couple of years, I remember my dad saying, completely serious with a straight face btw, "Sweetheart, I honestly don't understand where you got your mental health issues from, it's not from my side of the family."
Meanwhile-
There is not 1 (ONE) woman without mental health problems for like...5 generations on his side of the family.
Literally my dad:
