5.22.26 - Finished watching series, it was okay. That's all.....unfortunately. I was truly looking forward to this and it let me down heavily.

There were moments with Homelander's dad that made me chuckle and I like the addition of Daveed Diggs' character, and his superpower, but this season didn't do what I needed it to do.

The Chi. Season 7. series diary -- 8.17.2025

This season hella boring: -- Reg coming back: stupid dumb plotline, it's like they don't know what to do with the show now. They needed a Douda-level villain so they revived a dead one. Cheap and corny. -- Church heathens: all of the single Black women just want to have sex with the Black male pastors, meanwhile the Black male pastor is preaching while having sex with some married White lady. -- Everybody I like left the show: Maisha, Kev, Gemma -- There's a whole episode where they cosplay Do the Right Thing. A movie set in Brooklyn. They are so out of ideas.

Finished The Chi and it was a complete utter waste of my time. There is not one character that I care about or care to watch. I won't be coming back for season 8 because somehow, even though all of Season 7 felt like it was wrapping up the series, the last episode had cliffhangers, as if there is more to tell. There may be, but not a story I need to hear/see.

Blue Box - series diary [8.3.2025 completed]

It literally ended unfinished.

I enjoyed myself the entire time watching this. It flowed easily, it was comforting and provided a simple and pleasant viewing experience. I love the colors, the characters and the illustrations themselves. Rare to see women/girls drawn in anime that aren't overly sexually driven -- massive curvature, if you will. These ladies didn't have all of that. I appreciate it. It aided keeping my focus on the story and didn't distract me like other anime in the past.

I adore Hina. I was sad when she was sad. I was joyous when she was joyous. I was pensive when she was pensive. She's very well written and I admire how generous she is.

This anime is long and I was disappointed, to say the least, that it wasn't completed by the end of the 25 episodes! A whole story could have taken place in that time, in my opinion. My all-time favorite anime -- that I actually wish was longer but isn't and will never be -- Erased, tells a full story in only 12 episodes. So, Blue Box has no excuse. I still enjoyed myself though.

Harlem. Season 3. series diary.

I enjoyed the new additions to the cast and I enjoyed the season for sure. I'm just sad that it was so short.

Dark. Season 1. series diary [4.9.25] I was given a day off for the first time since December. I watched this series on Netflix all day in bed.

Though I enjoyed what I watched in Season 1 I didn't feel the need to continue. It seemed like it was going to go on and on and on into different time periods and I like endings.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles. series diary.

"After one body what's another" "THAT'S SERIAL KILLER LOGIC!" - Hilarious, laugh out loud anime

I haven't finished this yet, but I'm having a blast with it. The character is exactly like this photo series: (from top to bottom). Mash literally goes from:

being a badass to

being dumbfounded to

just eating a cream puff mid-conversation.

He's an honest, simple, straight-shooter, straight-forward character. I appreciate him.
