If you've followed me a while you will know I have massive amount of love for the Series D brushes (see our review). Well it was amazing to have it finally 'click' get the most out of them and I have a video coming (follow FauxHammer on Youtube") to show the detail of what I learned from the master and creator of these incredible brushes. I finally have somewhere for my ghosts to live.. Trying the blend tool on adobe illustrator

In our crit one of the things that were mentioned were that we should try to use the blend tool on our pathway for the gradient. Here (on the left) I tried the blend tool out but the path had so many bends it kind of took away some detail of the sound levels and also made the path itself look not quite right. So I’ve decided that the orginal method (right) we used is best for this paticular task.

Final Posters for Crit

These are our final posters we presented to our crit. We had some feedback on these which we’re going to work on - heres what we had.

The illustration’s size isnt obvious that the bigger they are means they’re louder/contributed to the sound more than the smaller ones paired with them.

The typographic handling of the key is a bit clunky- try work on this.

Possibly use the blend tool to blend the route- it might look alot less seemless.
