          Poly was in a world of her own, it was her first day as an intern and to say she was crapping her pants was an understatement, grabbing her cell she quickly shot Lip a freak out text before her new boss showed up, but looking up she’d been too late, “--crap sorry, I was uh -- sorry, it’s gone. away. i swear --” she mumbled dropping her cell quickly into her fresh white lab coat pocket. Great freaking first impression Poly,  In an attempt to save her terrible impression she offers out a hand to the older woman, “sorry, Doctor --- Torres.” she scans her lab coat for a a name, 

              “ hey -- coincidence much, nice to meet you doctor torres, I’m also doctor torres -- Poly Torres.” she laughs nervously, not for a second does it cross her mind that their in anything more than a coincidence that they had the same name, it certainly didn’t occur to her that the older woman bore a striking resemblance to herself. Why would it? her biological other had put her up for adopting at two weeks old, a teen mom hardly spelled out the making of a doctor. She knew nothing about her mother, it had been a closed adoption, all she knew was that she shared her surname, and that was the only connection she had to the woman who had abandoned her as a baby.  || Wishlist starter @seriouslytorres

     after what he saw to be standing up to izzie AND returning home george was feeling extra confident. callie must have been rubbing off on him, for now only figuratively. the past? with meredith and all the other awkwardness was in the past and he was comfortable with callie. more than comfortable since she still made him nervous in hopes to make a good impression, but comfortable that he actually cared about the way he viewed her. opening the door to his old room he gestured for callie to enter first before closing the door behind them. “it’s not much but... you don’t need a lot when you spend most of your time at the hospital. well... you know that.” he chuckled. considering callie literally lived at the hospital.
