This was my 3rd project. I stitched this for a friend's guest bedroom on 14-count black aida in DMC glow-in-the-dark floss (E940). It was a real pain to stitch with because it kept fraying, but that was before I discovered floss conditioner (which I've heard helps with unconventional floss).

I wasn't happy with the crossbones on the pattern, so I redesigned them. I also made some changes here and there on the lettering.

This was my 2nd project and it was a gift for my friend Sherilyn who wrote Ponyville Confidential: The History and Culture of My Little Pony, 1981-2016. Rarity is her favorite (or, as she prefers to put it, "Rarity is the best"). Someday I'll get around to stitching a Fluttershy for myself.

Rarity is stitched on 16-count white aida in DMC floss. I made a couple of changes to the colors called for in the pattern - I stitched Rarity's body in Snow White (B5200) instead of Ecru, mixed 1 strand Metallic Blue Topaz (E334) with 1 strand of the Electric Blue (996) called for to stitch her cutie mark, and stiched her horn in Pearlescent White (E5200) instead of Ecru. (If I ever stitch this pattern again, I think I'll mix 1 strand of the Pearlescent with 1 strand of Snow White.) The Metallic and Pearlescent floss aren't shown in the second photo, nor is the Snow White.

My needle minders.

After I bought the glittery green minder, I told myself it was the only one I needed. Then I started stitching on 18-count aida and using a size 28 needle. My minder seemed a bit too thick to securely hold a needle that small, so I decided I needed some thinner ones. Since GeckoRouge is based in the UK and I'm in the US, I also decided I might as well buy 2 minders to justify the cost of international shipping. (That's totally the only reason I bought more than one. Yep.)

The green glittery minder is from MnJFiberandClay on Etsy.

The TARDIS and Cat Solo minders are from GeckoRouge on Etsy. The artist is Jenny Parks. Cat Solo was purchased from the clearance section of GeckoRouge at a discounted price because it has a small imperfection.

I took this photo a couple of months ago when I was getting everything ready to start my 5th project (which I’m still working on, along with my 6th project).

The colored bits on the pattern are the areas I’m considering changing, because I apparently can’t stitch a pattern exactly as it’s presented to me.

The jar in the upper left is my floss clippings, which I started saving after my first project. I like the idea of little decorative jars filled with memories of my projects. (Plus it keeps my cats from eating them.)

The boxes in the background are for my cats. If you don’t know why, you don’t know cats.

This is the USB drive I use to back up all of my pdf cross stitch patterns (which, at the moment, is the only type of pattern I own). I also email them to myself. Some of them, like the ones from Heaven and Earth Designs aren't inexpensive and I'd hate to have to repurchase them.

I don't like questing in Deepholm because it's so dark, but some parts of it are beautiful.

Wonder Woman was my 3rd Funko Pop! figure. I also have her as a Pocket Pop! keychain because my friend ordered the large figure for me as a gift but Amazon kept sending me the keychains instead.
