What your head canon about relationships between Kyojuro Rengoku and Snake Pillar?

For me it might given brother like bond. It be interesting since it later revealed in later manga that snake pillar was saved by Kyojuro’s father.

(bit curious about snakes pillar reaction when love pillar sometime hangout with Rengoku) side notes she was trained by Kyojuro to learn Flame breathing at time.

I wished the author adds either light novel story or Gaiden stories or even CD drama.

Hello anon! Sorry I am getting back to you so late, these past few months have been hectic and are only now just calming down.

I would also consider their bond to be a brotherly one similar to how Kyojuro and Mitsuri have a brother-sister kind of relationship. After all, Kyojuro was one of the very first people to show genuine care, kindness and concern for him, not to mention wanting to actively be around him. I don't need canon to show me that either because we've seen enough to know that's just how Kyojuro is. I'm fairly convinced that Obanai stayed with the Rengokus for a while after Shinjuro saved him and seeing how pure and selfless Kyojuro and Senjuro are, I feel like Obanai may have had a similar experience to what Inosuke felt when he was first shown kindness and care--maybe less sparkles though lol.

Given what Obanai actually says about Kyojuro in the Hashira Opinions and then his strong comment upon hearing about Kyojuro's death, he clearly cares about Kyojuro. He states in the Hashira Opinions: "He talks a lot. I like him. He has a nice personality." The fact that Obanai starts with he talks a lot but then says that he likes him and he has a nice personality to me means that Kyojuro talking a lot doesn't bother him and he's stating it more of just "this is how Kyojuro is". Although it isn't mentioned I'm sure Obanai also has a lot of affection and respect for Shinjuro and Senjuro, after all he did decide to join the Corps and worked hard enough to become a Hashira.

Kyojuro was probably Obanai's one exception to not feeling jealous about Mitsuri spending time with another guy. Kyojuro and Mitsuri are both so genuine. Plus Mitsuri can tell when someone is putting moves on her (to a certain degree, not sure if she's always aware)--that just seeing them interact a couple of times would have made it clear to Obanai that Kyojuro and Mitsuri are mentor-student/friends and nothing more. He may have even been grateful for the relationship because Kyojuro was the one who helped Mitsuri to start gaining confidence and made her feel comfortable.

I do too, I would love to have more Kyojuro content in general but I always welcome anything expanding on his relationships too. Hell give me a whole spin-off of after Ruka passes up to him becoming a Hashira haha.
