ahhh this is a good question,... but a lot of the ''political'' issues that stirred a lot of people this year are social issues, for the most part

honestly. the hong kong protests, because i have family there and it's been really stressful -- a lot of late-night phone calls and wechats, but they're pulling through and i'm really thankful and proud.
