Coming down to the mess at a late hour, Shepard hastily searched for something to drink, undecided between something hot and something cold, hovering about the refrigerator. Dressed down to her BDU pants with just a white tank top that she wore beneath her normal uniform, the red scars upon her left shoulder and arm were quite visible against her pale complexion. Again, she debated, but eventually settled for just water. She turned after pouring herself a glass, near sputtering upon seeing Chakwas unexpectedly showing up in the mess.
