Dealing costantly with Mikuni was tiring and you knew how hard it could be for Jeje sometimes. The servamp was used to his eve's behaviour, but this didn't mean that he could actually stand him for that long, despite all those years spent together. Jeje needed a break. Mikuni knew it too, but loved to see the vampire being desperate, still he wasn't that cruel. He also knew the best way Jeje could enjoy his break. This way involved you, perhaps the only person whom the servamp enjoyed spending time with.

Jeje was annoyed when he heard someone knocking on his door that day – probably one of his subclasses or Johann looking for Mikuni, either way, he would have prefered ignoring whoever it may have been. You were annoyed too, because despite spending a couple of minutes knocking on that door, Jeje wouldn't come and invite you over. It took some more time before he actually decided to respond.

The nuisance became a pleasure the moment he realised it was you all along and immediately apologised for not opening sooner. He was glad to have some time off, but was even gladier if you were with him. Jeje would have liked to show you how much he appreciated the fact that you were here, but didn't know how. Mikuni was the charming one between them. Jeje was the one who listened quietly. He loved listening to you more than to Mikuni, so he was even quieter when you were around.

As always, you sat together on his couch, after you refused a cup of tea, and started a one-sided conversation. You told him all about your day and everything you could think of, looking for something that could catch his attention, while what Jeje could think of was the warmth of your hand holding his. He loved listening to you, but loved even more those casual touches.

“I love you so much.” you said casually, while laying your head on his shoulder. Jeje wasn't expecting you to declare your love. He looked at you through the box which covered his face, as you were now playing with the same hand you were holding just a couple of minutes earlier. “I'm so glad I met you.”

Jeje was flattered, happy and had no words to describe how he felt toward you. He would have liked to tell you that he loved you back, yet nothing left his lips. He was also feeling a little sorry because he hadn't actually listened to anything else you said that day. Sometimes he wondered how you could express your feelings so easily, while he found that extremely difficult.

“There's no need for you to say it back.” you spoke again “I know how you feel.”

There was no need for words at all. As long as he could feel that warmth, he knew it was going to be okay.
