Fang-tastic Treatment
A/N: Of course I had to choose this fandom for today. Ah it really felt nostalgic to write for them again. Hope you enjoy. Number 09 - Vampire - of @vqler's Tickletober prompt list of 2025 ft. Mahiru and Kuro from Servamp.

The soft glow of jack-o'-lantern string lights lit up the small living room, casting cozy orange flickers across the walls. Plastic bats hung from the corners, and a pumpkin-scented candle flickered gently beside a cluttered table stacked with half-eaten chocolates, empty cocoa mugs and wrappers from Halloween snacks they had nibbled on through the movie.
Mahiru sat stiffly on the couch, staring straight ahead at the black TV screen. His brow was slightly furrowed, his mouth a thin line. He didn’t even flinch when a half-wrapped caramel fell off the table and landed beside his foot. Kuro lay draped across the couch like a discarded blanket, his leg lazily twitching.
He blinked up at Mahiru with mild confusion. They’d just finished watching a vampire romance movie. A very steamy, melodramatic vampire romance movie.
The kind where the vampire hero constantly swept the heroine into his arms, whispered sweet nothings into her ear, nuzzled her neck with poetic lines about eternity and, of course, always protected her with tragic, immortal devotion. Kuro yawned. “That movie was weird. All that biting stuff, kinda dramatic.” “…Yeah,” Mahiru muttered. Kuro's ears flicked.
That tone wasn’t normal. He squinted, trying to remember if Mahiru had been like that all evening. Come to think of it… during the movie, Mahiru had kept glancing over at him, his eyes full of questions but never asking them out loud. He’d sat stiff the whole time. Too stiff.
Not like the usual Mahiru who'd tug Kuro into his side or absentmindedly run fingers through his hair while they watched something. Now the credits were over and Mahiru still hadn’t said a word. Kuro stared, then flopped onto his stomach and crawled a little closer, nudging Mahiru’s arm. “…Did I do something?” “No,” Mahiru said flatly. “…Then why’re you pouting?”
“I’m not pouting.” Kuro raised an eyebrow, sat up slowly, and without a word, pushed Mahiru down flat onto the couch. “Wha- Kuro?!” Mahiru gasped, blinking up at the vampire now straddling his waist. The blue-haired gave him a lazy look, his ears twitching slightly. “I can feel it. You’re grumpy and it’s annoying. I can’t nap when your mood’s all over the place.”
The brunette turned red instantly. “W-What are you talking about? Get off!” But before he could wriggle free, Kuro’s fingers pressed lightly into his Eve’s sides, wiggling in slow, deliberate motions. Mahiru squeaked. “AHhAhhah whAhaiHIhit!”
“No, I don’t wanna,” Kuro mumbled, a small, mischievous smile forming as he began tickling Mahiru's sides and lower ribs, his claws skimming with precise gentleness. “KU-KURO!! Wahaha!! Cuhut it out!!” “Not until you tell me what’s up,” Kuro said in a calm tone while his fingers worked their way into his sensitive spots, drawing out startled laughter.
“You’ve been acting weird since that dumb movie. You didn’t even share your last truffle.” “I-It’s just candy!! AH! NO- hahaha, not there!” Kuro raised an eyebrow and slowly shifted his fingers higher, sneaking under Mahiru’s hoodie to gently scratch at the skin just beneath his ribs. “Stop it! EhHEhhe! I-I giHihive up, I give up!” “Not until you spill,” he said, smirking now.
Mahiru squirmed, cheeks bright pink as he slapped weakly at the other’s arms. “I-It’s duHuhumb, o-oHokay?! You’ll just laugh!!” “I won’t laugh, promise,” Kuro drawled, lightly dancing his fingers up Mahiru’s stomach. The younger boy squealed and turned his head away, giggling uncontrollably. “OKAHAY OKAY OKAY!!”
Kuro paused his tickling, watching the brunette's chest rise and fall as he caught his breath. His face was flushed, his lips parted, his eyes flicking away nervously. Kuro leaned down a little. “So?” Mahiru bit his lip, groaned, then covered his face with one hand. “I… I just thought… That vampire in the movie, he was just so... gentleman-like and... touchy.”
“…Touchy?” Kuro repeated, blinking. Mahiru peeked out between his fingers, red as a tomato. “You know, all the romantic stuff! He kept saying things like ‘Your warmth is a curse I welcome’ and kept... cuddling her neck and brushing her cheek and- Ugh!! I know it’s cheesy but-!” Kuro tilted his head. “You’re jealous of the girl in the movie?”
The other looked away again. “...Maybe.” A beat of silence, then Kuro’s eyes grew bigger, as if he had a sudden idea. “If that’s what you want…” “Wait- what?” Before Mahiru could react, he leaned down and nuzzled his lips right into the side of his neck. “W-WAIT!! KUHUHURO!!” he squealed, surprised how much the touch tickled.
Mahiru shrieked, squirming violently beneath him, his laughter breaking loose again as Kuro planted small, teasing kisses and lazy tickly nuzzles along his neck. “NOOOHOHOHO!! STAHAHAHAP!!” It felt warm, ticklish, strange and yet so much needed.
“I thought this was what you wanted,” Kuro teased, his fangs gently grazing the surface in a mock bite that made Mahiru twitch so hard he nearly flung them both off the couch. “I-I WAS JOKING!! I MEAN- NOT REALLY!!” The Servamp chuckled and slid his fingers back to Mahiru’s hips, tickling along the waistband and making him arch off the couch.
“Make up your mind Ma-hi-ru~” “S-SORRY!! I’M SORRY!! HAHAHA!! OKAY I ADMIT IT!! I WANTED CUDDLES!! AND TICKLES!! AND ROMANCE STUFF!!” “Hmm.” Kuro finally sat up, letting him breathe again. Mahiru lied on the couch, panting and flushed. He looked absolutely wrecked - and absurdly adorable.
Kuro, still sitting on his stomach, looked down at his Eve and smiled softly. “Satisfied now?” Mahiru swallowed and gave a small, sheepish nod. “...Maybe.” The Servamp of Sloth raised an eyebrow. Mahiru looked away shyly. “I mean... Maybe if you tickled me a little more, I’d be fully satisfied.” There was a long pause.
Kuro sighed, flopping forward to lie half on top of Mahiru again. “You’re such a handful,” he whispered in a low voice, but you could still feel the affection and warmth in his words. “P-Pretty please?” Mahiru mumbled. “Tch… You’re lucky I’m too lazy to get up,” Kuro muttered.
Without warning, his fingers dove back under his hoodie, lazily dancing along the soft skin of his bare stomach and sides again, reigniting the cheerful, high-pitched laughter that had filled the room just minutes earlier.
“WAHAHA!! KURO!! Y-You’re the beHEst!! I LOVE IHIT BUT IT TIHICKLES SOHOHO MUHUCH!!” the brunette chuckled again, hugging him, keeping him close and by his side. Kuro grinned into Mahiru’s shoulder, his feet flicking lazily behind him as he whispered: “For you… I’ll make an exception…. Just tonight.” The movie had long ended but the romance would continue…
