He will attempt to find the One and I fear what might happen if he does.

The dawn was upon the now ruins that lay where Dol Guldur once stood, drenched in darkness and an evil most foul. An evening well spent by the member's of the White Council. After hearing that Gandalf had been taken prisoner by the greatest of enemies, the others gathered and summoned all their powers to combat the very darkness itself.

Saruman, being the leader, felt it was his duty to take on Sauron himself. But their fight did not last long, and the secrets that were shared were still racing around in his head. Secrets he could never share with his fellow members.

"Any man who must say ‘I am the king’ is no true king."

There was pause in the brown wizard's steps as the words were spoken to him. Turning to face Gandalf, he smiled politely, leaning slightly on his staff. "Your words are truly spoken, yet I do not know who you are speaking of. It is rare for me to hear of politics," Radagast replied, wondering what on earth the other was talking about.

Loki let out a shaky sigh as he buried his face in his hands. “I will be alright.”

The old wizard looked away before finally looking at the young hobbit, “Yes Frodo, I had an idea of what toll might have fallen on Bilbo once separated from the Ring…it is why I urged him to make his first stop at Rivendell. Without the ring he would age rapidly but I had faith Lord Elrond would be able to combat the residual presence of the ring. Had he not, I fear he would have become like the creature Gollum.”

"Gollum?" Frodo recalled the creature from Bilbo's stories, where it lurked in the dark caves feasting on filthy bones and flesh. He shuddered at the thought of his uncle shrinking into such a wretched creature. "In that case, I'm glad you didn't tell me. I would have come after him sooner. But he is safe now? From the Ring, I mean?"

Bilbo found himself a spot to sit down while the others set up camp for the night. He leaned against a tree, happy to be resting while his the ache from the long walk in his legs and feet slowly faded and exhaustion took him over in a small nap. It could have been only a few hours or many, he wasn’t sure, but when he woke up again the world around was dark with night. He would have been still sleeping (though upset that no one bothered to wake him to have him go to his bed roll) but the snap of twigs rather close by and the rustle of leaves as well awoke him. He looked around his shoulder and past the trunk of the tree, assuming that was where the sound was coming from? "Hello?" he whispered at first but then cleared his voice and spoke louder, "Hello? Is anyone there?"
