When you see your brother in need do not be satisfied with simply praying for them... If you are in the capacity to help then do so.

Do not love simple with words, but love with actions. This is the best time for the people of God to be the hands and feet of Jesus. To extend His love, and as Paul said "so being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but our own selves..."

Let us move pass the notion of helping to simply feel good about ourselves, to actually rising into action to help others by giving ourselves in any way we can.
