With this delicious recipe, you can make the famous DoubleTree Hotel Chocolate Chip Cookies! These soft and chewy cookies are chock-full of chocolate chips and chopped walnuts, making them an ideal treat for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup rolled oats. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 2 2/3 cups Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 3/4 cups chopped walnuts.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 300F 150C. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined and smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and lemon juice. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for about 18 to 20 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden brown around the edges. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
