First time at Chinese service! Was quite a challenge trying to get accustomed to the change in language 0.0 But it’s been good so far, though the bible verses are really difficult to understand :/
Anyway, NOTES!! :
- come to Jesus :)
- what we listen to and take in impacts us.
- be wise and make sure you guard what you listen to and watch. take in Jesus’ words (the Word of Christ) and let His Light and love shine in to dispel all darkness :)
- we have God and Jesus Who love us and keep watch over us, to keep us safe at all times :)

- the evil one will never win, cos God is the VICTOR. so, be on God’s side! When you have Christ, you’re definitely on the winning side ^^
- God’s work is quiet and still. When we cannot see what God is doing, reverse the evil we see - that’s what God is doing (the opposite of the work of the devil)
- Because we have Jesus, we have the assurance of psalm 91, and need not fear the covid virus :)
- God could choose to go anywhere but He chose to come to earth to save us and STAY in us :) He can repair any part of us, He’s so super close to us.
- God is in control of time & space
- first level of Solomon’s temple: Jesus’ finished work = our foundation. because of Jesus’ finished work (foundation), we can go on to the second level (prosperity)
- the grain and oil found on the first level of the temple signify Jesus’ finished work
- anointing oil is biblical
- the three stages of the crushing of olives correspond to the three stages of Jesus being crushed...
- Jesus used oil to anoint and heal ppl in the gospel of mark
- ya ge shu 5:14 (how anointing oil was used for healing sick people even after Jesus’ resurrection into heaven)
- yi sai ya shu 10:27
- using anointing oil to set apart - places, people, etc.
- take time to anoint self with anointing oil - the forehead, eyes, ears, heart, while praying to Jesus to set these apart
- Jesus was with a boy who used anointing oil to anoint his exam papers and he aced his exam.
- inviting Jesus to fellowship with us, to help us, instead of depending on self (pride)
- let go and let God in every area of our life :)
- choosing to rely on Jesus to take charge of every area
- the world either relies on self (weak) or on false gods (hence they are still suffering), but those who rely on Jesus will be healthy and strong (revelation)
- before prayer, the oil is ordinary, but after prayer, the oil becomes set apart
- it’s the prayer that makes the difference
- after prayer, olive oil represents Jesus’ finished work.
- give anointing oil and psalm 91 cards to family members

- finished work represents Christ’s love for us :)
- no one in their right minds would choose to suffer, but Jesus chose to go through all the three stages of suffering to give us wholeness.
- Jesus wants us to rest in His finished work, and be whole and have abundant life. Jesus loves us. Jesus paid a hefty price to bless us.
