Set; Ursuper God, Embodiment of Chaos, Disorder and Violence, Murderer of Osiris Weird, unknown animal . There is much to be said about Set, but the most fascinating aspect for me is that while other Egyptian deities had connections to real animals, the animal Set is unsually depicted as is unclear, and as such is referred to simply as the Set Animal. Some people see it as some sort of funky aardvark, donkey, fox mix, while others see elements of giraffe and jackal in there. Whatever you see in it, the one certain thing is that it's freaky looking, and rightfully so for the god who tears out the eye of his brother, Horus, after Horus removes Set's testicles.
