Online Dating-Increasing Love Probability
Now watching Kompas TV. It's discussing about "setipe.com", an online dating platform. The founder is quite a man. He talked about how Indonesian culture decresead the chance to meet someone new so that the chance you meet "your other half" is lower as well. That's when he saw a chance. He also argued that he tried to make this platform for singles who were serious. Thus, it has the biggest filter needed(the commitment) in itself. It's getting more interesting once this smart woman,Melani Tedja--its consultant, spoke out. She's explaining about probability and, h*ll she's genius. She said that according to a research, your probability to meet "the one" is one to one thousand. Meanwhile, in the average, a person will only meet 8 strangers per month (or 1 for me). That's why you do two things to widen your probability which are,1.You make yourself better;or 2.you lower your standard. She said before you do those two, better try online dating to increase the prob*and I swear that she sounds convincing and does make sense*. There's also this sexolog who thought that the most important thing you see from your partner was not suppossed to be a religion, but the spirituality. Meaning, you believe, see, and worship under the similar style. You can have the same religion but you still can suffer if your partner celebrate life in different way than yours. D*mn, it can't be more true. For me,I am fully grateful that I could find my significant other without in need to trouble myself much. I am glad that beside the same religion, we've got the same way to celebrate life, to embrace its spirituality in quite a similar way. We've got the same glasses for humanity and, that is my friend, the biggest gift of all.
