The truth is — Yachi had never went about celebrating Halloween before. Sure, she had read up about Halloween before in the magazines — how people would dress up as monsters or demons to celebrate the occasion and go around 'trick-or-treating' — but she had never experienced the holiday before in person. To be honest, those costumes people who celebrated Halloween put on scared her — she could not understand why would people have such an occasion in the first place. Yes, being able to receive candy is a nice thing, no doubt — but walking around dressed as a werewolf? Gosh, that frightened her to no end.
That was why she had no idea how she could have ended up in the middle of the street with dozens of people in all the outfits you could name — vampires, witches, demons — making their way down the street. The lass was shaking from head to toe, glancing around at the passer-bys as she cautiously made her way to the costume shop — that is what everyone is talking about, right? Even though she knew that the people here were all merely dressing up, she was still terrified of those scythes people were wielding — they looked all too real.
Just as her mind was wandering off, she felt herself bumping into someone — or was it something — she didn't know. Her blood ran cold, as her imagination took flight again — what if I bumped into a real vampire, or something like that? She was definitely not keen to land up in such a situation.
"I—I'm sorry!!! V—Very sorry!! Really, really sorry!! Sincerely sorry!!"
