15 November 2289 / County Crossing
Some shots of the rebuilt County Crossing. Before the Halloween event this was the Militia's command post for the Commonwealth's central zone. Since then it's been retrofitted by the Minutemen to serve the same purpose.
Top right: A batch of new settlers await processing, under the watchful eye of a Minuteman guard. Half will be equipped as guards while the other half will receive civilian assignments.
As a Minutemen-aligned outpost, these guards are equipped with MM-issued Vietnam-era gear and M16 rifles. Now that it's grown to this size I'll probably assign a couple members of Rat Patrol here as "instructors" to feed me intel; between this place and the Castle, the Minutemen are growing to be bigger and more formidable than I'd ever thought. But you know what they say: the bigger they are...
