I can't with people who put Aang on some sort of pedestal for being a child. Like he can and has made many selfish decisions, mistakes, and errors and that's okay but Aang Glazers cannot fathom the boy isn't a deus ex machina.
So far all other avatars have shown extremely selfish tendencies and made many mistakes

Korra I love korra but she was super super stubborn and selfish when it came to her avatar training and her own ideas she thought she didn't need help or that she was enough but she wasn't and she got buried half the time and I love her for it all
Point is. aang is not and never was a perfect blameless little guy
