When we really think about it, this relationship was wrong on so many levels. First dude was a priest. Second dude was after the money of the ranch to be on good terms with the church. At the end of the day, when you see all those folks who evoke & claim to work with Orisha without initiation, to the YouTube altar builders, the appropriators and mixers, to all those fugazi out there that over charge readings and say the Orisha speak, their day will come. The day comes when their health fails, their money run dry, and everything in their life comes crashing. And it’s not the Orisha that cause this. Folks see that these type people live and drown in their own Osogbo. They do these things not realizing that they are using their own life force and/or another Energy is answering their petitions. Osogbo drains energy we all know that. Osogbo attracts more Osogbo. One day these people will realize their life force was exhausted due to the foolishness they commit. They will find that someday they will have a chance to change & redeem themselves. The redemption is coming into the traditions, but many of these folks won’t cause it goes against their Narcissism. When they reject their salvation and continue to do wrong, their life force will continue to be drained. When they reach the land of the dead, they will have to take account all they did wrong and how they did not fully perform their destiny. Petty that day of realization when their spirit has to work double in the land of the dead for the things they did and didn’t do while living. And the Orisha won’t vouch for them.
