Lie my darkest confessions

Stopping my healing

Emotions exploding and I’m left numb

With no energy, harboring fear

I become a prisoner to my subconscious

Avoiding confronting my losses

There is a blank space that rests between my soul

I fear I may lose control.

Reevaluating my sanity

In desperate need of sanctity

Unwilling to escape my woes

My soul haunts my healing

Thoughts cease to exist under the rule of my broken heart

Alienating loneliness

I’m tired of living

Only to be constantly reminded that it’s just the beginning.

There were off days

But with your soft gaze

I’ll forever be fond of our lost ways

Expressing yourself into me clouds my clarity

I must make peace with the fact that you were never really there for me.

I’m no longer elevated in the clouds

Although her presence still haunts me

I haven’t written in days

Am I emotionally drained?

Have I said all that I needed to say?

Constantly responsible for my actions

A glorious combination of fate and free will

have lead me here, to Now and every Nothing that follows.

I’ve been broken, fearing that the imaginary words that hold me together will soon fall apart.

My whole world changed in that instance

The time soft and slow

Aware of the unaware

Stiff, but fluidly conscious

Using my surroundings To influence my void

To understand everything that’s not.

I wanted it to end..so I made my conclusions

Stuck in an illusion

Elongating a perception of the me I barley know.

Seeing the world for what it should be

And everything I shouldn’t.
