Note from author: Oh, woowww, another angsty/argument-related post??? đđđ Who would have thought???
On a more serious note, thank you babes for keeping up with me, I know that for the past few months I have been extremly bad at posting, but I am trying to get back to it, because I love it. Hope you will enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed writing it.â„ïžâ„ïž
Summary: Hyung Line having an argument with you before the concert. And yes, it is always their fault because the girlies are always right đ«°đ»
Warnings: None, just my delusions đ€đ»
1ïžâŁ S.Coups:
You and Cheol fought like every couple, but you two always managed to add a little extra heat. The slammed calls, the texts sharper than they needed to be, tiny sparks that sometimes lit up into something bigger when nerves were high.
Now he was backstage, minutes from opening night. The hum of the crowd pressed against the walls like a heartbeat. Heâd done this a hundred times, but tonight the argument sat heavily on his shoulders. Heâd called you ten times in the last two hours. No answer. Location off. His thoughts ran in tight circles.
A tech clipped the last cable into his in-ear pack. Out of the corner of his eye, movement. He turned, and there you were, leaning against a metal pillar, arms crossed, watching him.
âBabeâŠâ It came out small, like heâd set it carefully on the floor.
You pushed off the pillar with a sigh that carried the whole fight and set it down between you. âHey, petty boy.â
He almost smiled. Almost. The staff tried to gather his cables as he stepped toward you, dragging two of them like confused ducklings.
âIâm so sorry,â he said, voice low, eyes searching your face like it might vanish.
âI know,â you said softly, hand lifting to touch his cheek before you caught yourself. âYou have to go.â
âI didnât mean what I said,â he blurted. âNot like that. I wasâŠtired. And scared. And then you hung up andâŠâ
âYou hung up first,â you said, but there was no venom in it. Just the fact of it.
His mouth twisted. âRight. I did. I panicked. I hate when youâre not here.â
âI turned my location off because I needed a minute,â you said. âNot because I was disappearing.â
He nodded too fast. âI know. I know now. I justâŠGod, I spiralled. I kept thinking you were out there upset, and I put you there andâŠâ
A stagehand waved from the wings, two minutes.
You put your palm flat on his chest. Felt his heart kick. âCheol.â
He stilled.
âWeâre not perfect,â you said. âBut Iâm here. I came.â
He swallowed. âCan we talk after? Really talk? NotâŠacross a battlefield.â
âYes,â you said. âAfter. No phones. No dramatic exits.â
A breath of a laugh broke out of him, surprised and grateful. âDeal.â
Another wave, one minute.
He leaned in, forehead touching yours. âIâm sorry,â he said again, quieter, like the apology belonged right between you and nowhere else.
âI know,â you repeated, and this time you let your hand find his jaw, thumb warm against the edge of his in-ear wire. âIâm mad, and I love you. Both can be true.â
His eyes softened. âI love you. I never doubt that part. I justâŠsometimes I donât know how to hold it without squeezing too hard.â
âThen donât squeeze,â you said. âJust hold.â
He let out a breath. The noise of the crowd swelled, a wave rolling toward shore.
âGo,â you said, giving his chest a gentle push. âGo do what you do. Iâll be right here when you come off.â
2ïžâŁ Jeonghan:
Ah, yes, petty fights if youâve ever seen one. Not the door-slamming, plate-shattering kind with this one. Worse. The kind where he goes quiet. He doesnât raise his voice, he just withdraws, face smooth as glass, and starves you of words until your own start curdling in your throat. And the worst part? Heâs not blameless. He knows it. You know it. Youâd spent the afternoon chasing him from room to room like a shadow begging its owner to turn around. Five hours ago, you finally gave up, snatched your keys, and walked out before you said something you couldnât unsay.
Now, backstage, Jeonghan realizes he may have engineered his own undoing.
Heâs a man of ritual and superstition. Every show, the same three things, exactly three sips of warm water; shoulder rolls, two forward, four back, and a text from you that reads, without fail, âI love you, you are the best.â Four years of concerts, and not one has started without that message.
Tonight, the cup is there. The shoulders roll. But his phone stays silent.
âJeonghan, Iâm telling you again,â his manager says, palm flat to his chest, stopping him mid-step. âYou canât go off now. Youâre on in five.â
âPlease,â Jeonghan says, trying to keep his voice even and failing. âI know sheâs here. Just two minutes. I need to find her.â
âSheâs not,â the manager replies, already glancing at the clock. âI checked the guest list twice. She didnât check in. Shoes on. Now.â
Jeonghan exhales, the sound short and sharp. He swallows his third sip of water like itâs a dare, shoves his feet into his shoes, and snatches a mic from a staff member with a muttered âThanks.â
On the lift, lights humming underneath, the arena thundering above like weather, he stares at the metal grate as if it might blink first.
âStage face.â Joshua says lightly, squeezing the space between Jeonghanâs shoulder blades. âWhatever it is, park it for three hours.â
âI am really not in the mood for motivational speeches, manâŠ,â Jeonghan mutters, not looking up.
The lift rises. The roar swells. The first note hits, and habit takes the wheel. Jeonghan smiles on cue, sings on pitch, moves cleanly through the choreography, but heâs moving through fog. The crowd is a blur of lightsticks and glittered signs. He hits mark after mark like the floor is telling him where to go.
Three songs in, âRock with Youâ crackles in his ear, and the left catwalk calls him like it always does. He goes, feet finding the rhythm his heart canât. He makes himself look, really look, into the crowd, scanning faces and posters and hands.
And there you are.
Youâre pressed against the barrier with your best friend clinging to your elbow, hair a little messy like you ran here, eyes bright and stubborn. Youâre jumping to be seen, a poster rattling in your grip. The letters are crooked, the marker is too light in places as if the ink gave up halfway through, and the message is ridiculous and perfect: âI love you, you are the best.â
His mouth opens on a silent laugh. His shoulders, rigid for hours, loosen like a knot finally working free. He stops dead on the catwalk, and for a split second, the world funnels down to you and a sign that was clearly made ten minutes ago on a piece of poster board stolen from someoneâs convenience store.
Your eyes catch his, and the annoyance youâve been feeding all evening dies without ceremony. He doesnât need the text. Heâs reading it twelve feet away.
He mouths, slow enough for you to catch it, âI love you more.â
3ïžâŁ Joshua:
Joshua wasnât the kind of guy who yelled. Even when you were wrong, and he knew you knew it, he didnât raise his voice. He just⊠left. Not with his feet. With his eyes. The room would still hold his body, but heâd be gone, somewhere colder, somewhere you couldnât reach. That was the worst part of fighting with Joshua, the way his quiet could make you feel like the smallest person on the planet. And he knew it.
Two days since the stupid argument, two days of clipped texts and swallowed words, and the scene kept looping in his head as he sat under the bright bulbs of the makeup mirror. The artist dabbed eyeshadow along his lids, he barely blinked.
âWith or without?â someone asked behind him.
âHuh?â Joshua snapped back to the room, blinking at his reflection.
âWith or without the glasses,â Hoshi said louder, pointing at the sunglasses perched on Joshuaâs head like a second thought.
âItâs pitch black outside,â Joshua muttered, twisting in his chair. âWhy on earth would I wear sunglasses?â
âGoddamn, you still got your panties in a bunch?â Cheol drawled from the next chair, eyes never leaving his own mirror. He adjusted his in-ear monitors like theyâd personally offended him.
âIâm fine,â Joshua said, too quickly.
âMhm.â Cheol went back to smoothing a flyaway strand, the unimpressed kind of âmhmâ that meant he didnât believe a word.
The room kept moving without Joshua. Stylists darted past with lint rollers and garment bags, a stagehand counted down minutes in a steady, rising voice. Someone laughed too loud by the door. He tried to care about the set list, the timing, the blocking, but his mind kept snagging on the last thing heâd said to you, and the way your face had fallen right before you shut the door.
Forty minutes later, the real countdown started echoing through the hallways. Joshua stood, suddenly all fingers and panic. His shirt, for reasons known only to the shirt, refused to cooperate.
âI swear to God, if thisâŠâ He yanked the hem, careful and not careful all at once. The collar snagged his mic wire. ââŠstupid shirtâŠâ
He wrestled it over his head and felt his carefully shellacked hairstyle protest. A warm hand landed lightly on his bicep.
âStop,â you said.
He froze. When he lowered the shirt, you were right there. No mascara tracks, no storm left in your eyes, just a soft focus he hadnât earned yet. You didnât meet his gaze. You adjusted the mic pack, unfastened the top button with steady fingers, then slid the shirt over his shoulders so it didnât disturb a single gelled strand.
âThere,â you murmured, smoothing the fabric over his chest with a tight-lipped smile â, See you after the show.â
You turned on your heel, already leaving, already taking air with you. Two days of radio silence clawed at Joshuaâs throat. He moved before his brain could talk him out of it, slipping into step beside you as staff scrambled around, calling cues and carrying headsets like life preservers.
âIâm sorry,â he said, breath catching as someone clipped his transmitter in place.
You didnât slow. âIâm sorry too.â
âI was dumb.â Hands swept over him, powder here, tape there, and still he kept his eyes on you. âI hate it when I get like that. I know I⊠leave.â
âYou donât leave,â you said, finally glancing at him. âYou vanish while standing right in front of me. It hurts.â
âI know.â He swallowed.
A stage manager hustled by, counting down, âThree minutes! Three!â, and then someone tugged at Joshuaâs waistband to hide a wire. He caught your hand before it fell back to your side and held it, quick and secret.
He exhaled, the closest thing to relief heâd felt in forty-eight hours. âI love you,â he whispered, the words almost lost under the thud of bass through the floor.
âI love you too.â You gave him a tiny, conspiratorial wink, as if it were a shared joke that love could be this loud and this delicate at once.
âFinal checks!â someone called. A makeup artist floated in with a sponge, reaching for his mouth.
âWait,â Joshua said, catching the artistâs wrist with a gentle apology in his eyes. He turned back to you, cupped your face like he could anchor himself to something softer than adrenaline, and kissed you. Not a timid hallway peck, something sure and grounding.
He let you go, just far enough. He nodded to the makeup artist. âOkay. Now Iâm ready.â
4ïžâŁ Jun:
âI need to take your phone, Jun.â
His managerâs hand was already outstretched, steady and impatient, waiting for him to drop it before stepping onto the stage.
Jun stared at the screen a second longer than he should have. Letting go felt harder than it usually did, harder than it ever had, especially when he still hadnât heard from you. In a few seconds, heâd be logged off from the world for over four hours, cut off completely, and the silence scared him more than the crowd ever could.
You were usually backstage by now. A quick kiss for luck, a quiet smile just for him, a few painfully unfunny jokes shared with the others. Familiar things. Comforting things.
But tonight, you werenât there. And worse, he didnât even know when heâd see you next, not with the way the coming weeks were packed.
He knew how this looked. He knew he messed up.
It wasnât intentional, not really. Heâd landed hours earlier than planned and thought, stupidly, that he could surprise you. One good moment carved out of a chaotic schedule. But idol life didnât leave room for nice plans. What was supposed to be an early return to Seoul for a last-minute podcast recording turned into you discovering, through the internet, of all things, that your boyfriend had lied about when he was coming home.
That was the part that hurt the most. Not the lie itself, but the way you found out.
And Jun knew better than anyone how much you hated that.
âI am so screwed,â he muttered as the stage elevator doors slid shut behind them.
âCouldâve been worse,â Minghao replied calmly.
Jun let out a helpless breath and leaned back against the metal rail. âSheâs not even gonna talk to me after this,â he said. âItâs so fucking stupid.â His eyes fell shut like that might make it disappear.
âAll youâre doing right now is making it worse,â Minghao said, eyes still on the script in his hands. âYour mood isnât gonna magically fix itself like this. And youâve still got a whole concert to get through.â
âI know, but it feels like I made her think I donât care,â Jun said quietly, fingers fidgeting with the mic. âDo you know how much it hurt when I called her after filming and it went straight to voicemail?â His voice wavered despite himself. âOr when I got here and the driver told me she refused the pickup and told them to leave without her?â
For the first time, Minghao glanced up at him. âApologize later,â he said simply. âFocus now.â
The elevator jolted, began its ascent, and suddenly the arena exploded, screams, light, sound crashing over him all at once. The world demanded everything from him, whether he was ready or not.
Time stretched painfully thin. Each song dragged, each transition felt heavier than the last. It was like the universe knew exactly what he was waiting for and decided to be cruel about it.
When the concert finally ended, Jun had never moved faster in his life.
He grabbed his phone the second he was allowed to, heart pounding as he unlocked it. Part of him expected the notification bar to be empty, just like when heâd left it hours ago. No messages. No calls. Nothing.
The other part of him, stupidly hopeful, prayed for anything.
His breath caught when he saw it.
A video.
From you.
It was a short clip of him onstage earlier, lights blazing behind him, a small pink heart added in the corner. His chest tightened so hard it almost hurt. He didnât think, he just called you immediately.
It rang twice.
âHello?â Your voice cut through the backstage noise, soft and familiar, and it nearly broke him.
âIâm so sorry,â Jun rushed out. âY/n, I swear Iâm the stupidest person on the planet, Iâm so sorry, I canât evenâŠâ
âHey. Hey,â you interrupted gently, firm in that way you always were. âBreathe. Youâre tripping over your own words.â
âIâm sorry, babe,â he said, resting his forehead against the cold, damp wall. âI thought I could surprise you, pick you up after filming. Everything ran over schedule, and I couldnât get to you. I shouldâve told you.â
âIt was stupid,â you said quietly.
The silence that followed pressed down on him, heavy and unmistakable.
âI know,â he whispered, fingers tightening around his phone. âIâm really sorry. I wish Iâd told you. Thank you for coming. I really wanted to see you.â
âI left early,â you said. He could hear the TV murmuring in the background. âDidnât want to get stuck in traffic.â
âI really thought you wouldnât,â he admitted.
There was a pause, then your voice softened.
âCome home, Jun.â
The tension in his chest finally loosened, warmth flooding in like relief he hadnât dared to expect.
âYou donât have to tell me twice,â he said with a deep, shaky sigh.
5ïžâŁ Hoshi:
âIf itâs so freaking stupid, then why did you even come?â
Hoshiâs voice slices through the waiting room, sharp enough to make the air stand still.
Youâre sitting on one of those stiff wooden chairs, laptop open on your knees, the click-clack of backstage chaos muted now that the room has gone quiet. Hoshi stands by the door, already half in his sound-check outfit, hand gripping the handle like heâs holding himself back from saying more.
âBabeâŠâ you whisper, pushing yourself up from the chair.
âNo. Donât âbabeâ me.â His jaw tightens as he pulls the thin door halfway open. âI have a concert to finish. This is my job, Y/N.â
âI know,â you say, softer than intended, but heâs already put three long strides and a wall between you.
âNo, you clearly donât.â He lets out a dry laugh that doesnât reach his eyes. âOtherwise you wouldnât be doing my head in about how annoying it is that you have to sit in âstupid random roomsâ while Iâm freezing my ass off on stage.â
He doesnât wait for your reply. He slips out, letting the door close behind him, taking every bit of warmth with him.
You blink, and suddenly the argument feels like it had exploded out of nowhere. Twenty minutes ago you were just venting, complaining about how your degree is eating every spare second and how youâre stuck studying anywhere you can. You werenât attacking him. You were tired and overwhelmed, and he was the one person you thought you could unload on.
But you hadnât read the room.
You knew he was stressed today, thatâs why youâd come early, laptop and textbooks in tow. What you didnât account for was how sensitive Soonyoung becomes when heâs anxious about a performance. One stray spark, and everything went up in flames.
Three hours pass before you admit he isnât coming back. Not between rehearsals. Not between sets. Not even just to peek in. So you gather your things and slip out quietly to find a better spot before the concert starts.
Meanwhile, thirty minutes later, Hoshi finally comes back to his senses. He returns expecting you there, hunched over your laptop, hair falling in your face, looking up at him with that soft smile you always give him, even when youâre exhausted.
Instead, he finds an empty room.
An empty chair.
An empty space where you should be.
His stomach drops straight to the floor.
He realizes, fully and painfully, that he snapped at you for nothing. The epiphany had already hit halfway through sound check, but now the guilt settles in like ice. And if performing a four-hour show is hard while stressed, try doing it with a knot of shame sitting permanently in your throat.
Hoshi scans the crowd at least fifteen times during the concert. He double-checks the VIP box so often the cameras probably think heâs doing a bit. Each time he doesnât find even the tiniest glimpse of you, another crack forms in his chest.
By the time the final encore ends and he steps off the backstage elevator, heâs running on autopilot. Sweat clings to him, clothes sticking to chilled skin. His heart is hammering, not from the choreography, but from dread.
The moment he pushes through the rolling door into the main hallway, his thoughts are racing at a hundred kilometers per hour, until his eyes land on you.
Youâre standing there with his mother, laughing over something on your phone, face lit up with the kind of smile heâd convinced himself heâd ruined for the night.
âThank God,â he breathes, barely audible, before he breaks into a full jog.
You donât even have time to look up. Suddenly, youâre wrapped in a tight, sweaty embrace, pulled flush against him as he buries his face on top of your head.
âIâm so sorry,â he murmurs, voice cracking, kissing your hair again and again, quick, frantic, apologetic. âI was so rude. Iâm sorry. Iâm so, so sorry.â
âBabe, weâre okay,â you mumble into his chest, voice muffled by his damp shirt.
âWhere were you?â he asks, loosening the hug just enough to see you but not enough to actually let go.
âI was in the box with your parents.â You cup his freezing cheeks with your warm hands. âGod, Soonyoung, youâre ice cold.â
âYou almost gave me a heart attack,â he says dramatically, lower lip jutting out. âI thought Iâd died of a broken heart.â
âActually,â you start, reaching for your phone, âmy resident doctor said thatâsâŠâ
âJust shut up, idiot,â he laughs, lifting your chin with one cold hand and kissing you before you can finish.
6ïžâŁ Wonwoo:
You and Wonwoo had always fought the same way, your temper flaring fast and loud, his patience trying to match your pace, always half a step behind. It usually ended with you going quiet, a self-imposed silence you stretched for as long as you could manage. You knew it was childish. You knew it bordered on unfair. Sometimes it even left you wondering if you asked too much of his patience, if taking up that much emotional space made you difficult to love.
But this time, this time, it really was his fault. And you were allowed to be mad.
It was 7 p.m., halfway through their Seoul concert, and you were seated in the VIP box with family members and a few partners of the other members. The bass thumped through the stadium, the cheers rising and falling like waves, but you barely registered any of it. You stayed rooted to your chair, jaw tight, tongue pressing firmly into the inside of your cheek as if holding everything back physically might keep you from unravelling emotionally.
Two hours earlier, Wonwoo had said it, that he found it a bit pathetic that you still got so nervous. After all these years together, after countless shared meals and backstage hellos with the other girlfriends, you still hovered near him, still needed his presence as an anchor. You knew his words hadnât come from malice. His intentions were clumsy, not cruel. But stress turned him blunt to the point of carelessness, and you had taken the full impact of that, again.
Across the stadium, Wonwoo stood under blinding lights, smiling wide as he moved in sync with the rest of the members. To anyone watching, he looked carefree, electric, fully in his element. But even as he laughed into the mic, he knew what waited for him once the music stopped. An apology. One he owed you badly.
âWhy are you looking like that?â Cheol murmured through a smile, leaning in close enough that the audience wouldnât notice.
âNot the moment,â Wonwoo muttered back, careful with his lips. He was painfully aware of the hundreds, maybe thousands, of eyes on them.
âThen stop acting like somethingâs wrong,â Cheol replied, patting his back before dancing off to the other side of the stage like nothing had happened.
By the time they reached their final goodbye, you werenât in the VIP box anymore. You were backstage now, standing beside his dad and brother, bouquet in hand as tradition dictated. Your chest felt tight, like anticipation and frustration were tangled together somewhere beneath your ribs.
Less than five minutes later, he appeared.
Sweat clung to him, his hair falling messily onto his forehead, glasses slightly fogged from the sudden shift in temperature. He looked exactly like he always did after a show, exhausted, glowing, adrenaline still humming under his skin.
You expected the routine. A hug for his dad. Mingyu bursting in with a loud joke. A long, solid embrace with his brother. And then you, a quick kiss, familiar and grounding.
But he changed direction at the last second.
Before you could even process it, his arms were around your torso, still moving forward, making you stumble back a step or two with him. He looked down at you, eyes soft, almost apologetic, the kind of look you knew too well.
âI was rude,â he said quietly.
You scoffed under your breath. âOh. So now youâre self-aware?â
âStress got the best of me,â he replied, calm, steady. No defensiveness this time.
âNot an excuse,â you shot back, arms still hanging stiffly at your sides.
âI know.â His voice softened further. âBut you know I love having you around. I call you when Iâm at the grocery store, even when youâre literally waiting for me in bed.â He laughed shyly, rubbing the back of his neck. âIâm sorry, Y/N. That was really dumb of me to say.â
He reached up, gently brushing your bangs behind your ear, his touch tentative, as if he was giving you room to pull away.
âIâll have to think about it,â you said, even as you felt the walls youâd built starting to crumble, piece by piece.
âCome on,â he murmured, dipping his head slightly until his nose brushed yours. âI missed you.â
âThatâs not fair,â you whispered, a lazy smile betraying you as his breath warmed your lips. âYouâre not playing fair.â
âMmm,â was all he answered before his lips finally met yours, slow, apologetic, and familiar. You tasted salt from his sweat, warmth from his skin, and the last traces of the pettiness that had filled the space between you just hours ago, dissolving completely.
7ïžâŁ Woozi:
Two stubborn people with matching egos and a tendency to misfire in communication are a recipe for unnecessary tension. Anyone whoâs seen you and Woozi argue would say the same: it starts small, escalates fast, and somehow lasts way longer than it ever needed to.
Woozi has always been the type who can feel an argument brewing before you even open your mouth, someone who already knows the solution before the problem fully forms. He loves you with a kind of quiet certainty that threads through every part of his life.
But the past two weeks had stretched both of you thin. Him on tour across three time zones, you flying out for a conference, barely catching each other awake. Silence settled where the comfort used to be. And then that Dispatch article, him at dinner with a female co-star, which he had mentioned in passing, but you hadnât truly heard because you were both exhausted. You blocked him in a moment of pride and irritation, and by the time he tried reaching out, he didnât have the energy to push harder. Not then. Not while performing, traveling, barely sleeping.
Now it was the night of their encore show in Seoul. He knew youâd flown home last night, he saw the ring camera notification light up, and it gnawed at him that you still hadnât unblocked him. Heâd tried twice today to stop by your apartment, but both times, you werenât home. The not knowing was eating him alive.
âIf it makes you feel betterâŠâ Dino says around a mouthful of egg sandwich, âmy girlfriend tried calling her too. Went straight to voicemail.â
âYeah, she turned her phone off,â Woozi mutters, exhaling hard as he scrolls through Instagram without really seeing anything.
âI think this is the longest Iâve seen you two go without talking,â Joshua adds, sliding behind him and squeezing his shoulders in sympathy.
âPetty ass fight,â Woozi mumbles, eyes glued to his screen as if he stared long enough, youâd appear.
âPetty ass fight?â
Your voice cuts clean through the room. The whole group freezes, and Jihoonâs head snaps around so fast it looks painful.
There you stand, cold from the outside, warmer from anger, looking directly at him. And he canât decide if he wants to run to you or brace for an explosion.
âThatâs what you tell them?â you continue, stepping inside the threshold of the dressing room. âThat weâre fighting because of some petty argument? Not because you went to dinner with another woman while I was out of town?â
Silence folds over the room like a blanket no one asked for.
Jihoon swallows. Hard.
âLetâs not do this here,â he says quietly, quiet but firm, and heads toward the hallway. You follow, footsteps sharp against the concrete.
The makeshift corridor beneath the stage is freezing, and every breath you take comes out visible. Jihoon stands a few feet away, hands balled in his pockets, eyes never leaving you.
âI missed you,â he says softly.
âWhy did you stop by my place?â Your voice wavers, but your stare doesnât. âMy neighbours saw you there. Twice.â
âYouâre my girlfriend, for fuckâs sake, Y/N.â He lets out a humourless laugh. âYou blocked me like weâre in high school.â
âYou went out to dinner with another woman, and I had to learn about it through Dispatch.â You step closer, jabbing a finger into his chest once, sharp, accusing. âThat makes me feel like youâre treating us like some high school fling.â
Jihoon inhales, eyes flicking down for a moment. He knows this is the worst possible moment, right before a concert, right after weeks apart. He also knows he loves you more than he loves being right.
So he does the one thing guaranteed to break the spiral.
âYouâre embarrassing yourself right now,â he murmurs, not cruel, just honest, and he gently removes his hands from his pockets, reaching for your wrists. One by one, he lifts your hands and places them around his waist, holding them there. Holding you there.
The closeness steals the fight right out of the air. His eyes roam your face like heâs relearning it, and suddenly you feel both exposed and wrapped up in something warm.
âYou know Iâm in love with you,â he says, forehead dipping toward yours, voice barely more than breath. âSo donât second-guess it again.â
He presses a soft kiss onto your cold lips, lingering.
: ÌÌâ synopsis: Jun has been your best friend for years but you never knew that heâs actually been obsessed with you this whole time. Until he sends you a sudden nude whilst away in China which changes the dynamic.
You have always been lucky. You might not be crazy rich, or strikingly pretty, but you truly have the best friend in the world. Wen Junhui.
It's the times when you have him blowing up your phone when you don't reply, cooking chinese food when your stomach rumbles and the pair of pink slippers nustled into his hallway designated for you that make you realise that no man will ever live up to him.
He has been exceeding your expectations since the night you met him. The night your friend ditched you at the club for some dick, leaving you, in flawless makeup and an outfit you had been planning for days somehow contemplating going home.
Purse in hand, you caught sight of a him cutting through the crowd âsuspiciously good looking and his smile reeking of "Are you open-minded?". You gripped the strap tighter, breath stalling, but instead of trying to get you drunk or onto the dance floor, he stayed beside you all night.
Since then, Jun had been at every birthday party, been through every breakup and been by your side through every moment you needed him â he's your constant. The one who will always stay.
Never once has a single hint of hesitation hit you when telling him all your worries. All the times you used to be crying on your bed, gut clenched at the realisation you had no one to talk to now couldn't feel like a more distant memory.
Chest tightening, you remind yourself not to take him for granted. Although, he certainly likes to make it difficult when he abandons everything for your needs. Like that time he skipped dance practice so you could have a sleepover the night your ex broke up with you.
Looking around at your empty room, you tuck away your pink slippers into your highest cupboard. They look far too lonely when they aren't in his apartment, accompanied by his grey pair. You yank at your charger, expecting a reply, only to be left with another painful reminder of his busy schedule.
Three months into his filming in China, and you're certain you are one minor inconvenience away from insanity.
Youâd be lying if you said you didn't have moments â close calls. His hands brushing yours. Lingering looks. Him wiping your tears with his shirt sleeve.
But you would never dare to cross the line.
You couldn't. Heâs your best friend. Always has been. What would you do if it fucks things up?
However, Jun percieves you differently.
After years of being friends, it became impossible for him to keep seeing you not getting treated how you deserved. You'd be happier with him. How could you not see this?
Every time he comforts you, every sleepover you have, every tear he wipes from your cheek, the urge swells. At first it was his desire to comfort youâ to love you. But it's rotted into something darker, something dirtier gnawing at him from the inside.
It's a quiet obsession that he isn't exactly proud of, yet he can't deny it. He especially can't deny it at times when you're curled up on his lap wearing his hoodie with those tiny fucking shorts you love. His dick pressing against his zipper as he excuses himself to the bathroom to take care of it.
But the last thing he wants is to make you feel uncomfortable or to push your boundaries and lose you forever.
So every memory becomes a part of his private folder. He saves voicenotes of you saying his name, photos of you sleeping beside him, even screenshots of times you were being accidentally flirty over text.
He reassures himself that it's just a way to keep himself controlled, that he needs an output for his desires, but even he is aware of how much he's slipping into his fantasy rather than the reality that could shatter if he moves too fast.
And now that he hasn't seen you in three months, he's spiralling. He thinks about you constantly, reading your texts over and over whilst he's on set. He thinks about how soft your skin must be, his cock getting harder from just imagining the feel of you in his arms again.
He predicted this might be the case when he left for China so he did something new. It was always a fantasy he dared not to admit. But he had no choice when he stayed round yours for the final sleepover. Each deep, rhythmic breath of yours coaxing his eyes to your underwear drawer.
Jun now laid on his bed. His figure adorned only his grey sweatpants and a pair of your white lace panties in his grasp.
You, however, were at Mingyu and Wonwoo's place. They were two friends Jun introduced you to recently as he instructed them to look after you whilst he was gone.
You were now curled up on their couch, phone balancing on your stomach, half-waiting for Jun to reply to your last message.
The three of you had fallen into a routine by now: Mingyu cooking too much, Wonwoo gaming on call, and you sneaking photos to send to Jun like you were documenting your survival.
It wasnât the same without him. Mingyu and Wonwoo were sweet, loud, and distracting â but they werenât Jun.
With the silence from your phone beginning to get nauseatingly loud, you snap a quick selfie to Jun, silently hoping it will prompt a faster response.
It's a simple photo â you, Jun's hoodie pooling at your waist, watching tv with Mingyu on their couch.
Grinning to yourself, you caption the selfie, 'bet you miss me more than i miss you' and hit send.
Jun didnât mean to open it while he was half-hard, shirtless and lazy on his bed⊠but now he couldnât stop staring.
Grip tightening on his phone, he looks back to your panties laced within his hand, mentally piecing the sight together with your selfie â the formed image driving himself insane. His hand instinctively reaches for his cock, carelessly pulling it out of his sweats as if it was routine.
He knew it was wrong but he couldn't help himself when he was this hard. He zoomed in on your neck, mind wandering to how soft your skin is there. Thinking about how much he wants to grab it and hold you down. Letting his hand trail over his sensitive tip, he hums in pleasure as he lets his head roll back.
Fueled by his ache, he lets the soft, pure fabric meet his dick, wiping his precum, not realising how far this would lead him. The contact with his cock and your panties made him twitch, imagining how you'd look in themâ how you'd look in them beneath him.
Jaw tightening and head spiralling, the realisation that he can't escape this situation hits him. Yet, he doesn't fight it. He knows better than to fight it when he can feel his hunger surging with every bead of sweat accumulating on his forehead.
His cock twitches further into your panties and before he can process his actions, he's got them wrapped around the base.
The hotel room is cold, nothing like the view on his bed. His abs gleam with a thin sheen of sweat, sweatpants sitting low enough to reveal the girth of his cock, partially veiled by your damp underwear.
He's far too deep in the fantasy, far too deep for any critical thinking, his mind only containing you and his need for you to finally acknowledge him in the way he craves.
Pulling out his phone, with his brain barely present, Jun snaps a photo as a response to yours. The only difference being that his photo back contains his dick wrapped up in your panties.
It comes with no warning. The innocent notification buzzing against your stomach like a hug, fooling you into a sense of comfort.
You opened the message expecting a selfie. Instead, it was him. Hard. With pantiesâyour panties, looped around the base.
Oh my god. Thatâs yours â thatâs your underwear wrapped around his cock like some kind of trophy.
And he knows. He fucking knows youâre looking at it. He wants you to look at it. Wants you to see how hard he is for you, even when heâs not here. You canât breathe.
Now youâre in Mingyuâs bathroom, phone shaking in your hands, thighs pressed tight together like thatâll help anything. What the fuck does this mean?
You build up the courage and face the image again, drinking in the view. His dickâ your best friend Junhui's dick. You couldn't help but notice every detail.
Your phone showed every vein, it showed just how hard he was.. for you. And without warning, it was now seared into your memory.
Yet you didn't mind it.
You didn't mind the thought of Jun, thick, flushed and twitching into your panties that he must have stolen from you.
And the thought of what is happening outside the image, him in that hotel room with his hand wrapped around himself, panting your name whilst jerking his cock into your underwear.
Palms sweating, you notice the slight v-lines visible in the corner of the image causing your to almost choke on your saliva.
This only lead you to imagine his faceâ fuck, that pretty face. Probably just as flushed as his tip.
You catch a quick glimpse of your reflection in the bathroom mirror, your state mirroring your imagination of Jun in this current moment.
Your face flushed a bright rosy shade and the stark light above you making you feel far too exposed, yet also lighting up the image on your phone as if it's going to burn through your retinasâ or maybe that's just due to your staring.
Around you, you can still hear the muffled sound of Mingyu and Wonwoo discussing the TV, yet with every beat of your heart increasing in volume, and your breath slowly getting heavier, it became much easier to ignore.
Was it a mistake? But fuck, what if it wasn't?
Either way, you can't deny the fact that it's your panties he stole. And it's your panties he's jerking off with.
That thought alone makes your breath shallow, hitched and humiliatingly loud.
With your hands tightening around your phone screen, you open your messages, yet you can't manage to type. Your trembling fingers hover over the keyboard as if they are haunting it.
Looking down, you view the picture again, heat Instantly spreading through your chest, the sensation travelling down your stomach.. and lower.
You couldn't stop staring, thoughtlessly imagining the heat spreading through your body was his touch. That his long, slender fingers were the ones carresing your inner thighs and the dizziness you felt was from him yanking your head back.
You had to collect your thoughts â your emotions.
Finally, you typed
You: 'Did you mean to send that to me?'
Every second that passes feels like torture. Your body and mind unable to cope with the perverse thoughts of what could be taking him so long.
Jun is lying in his hotel bed, half watching some random chinese tv show. His free hand tracing a lazy trail down his stomach, fingers slipping just under his waistband. He isn't exactly paying much attention to any of it though. In his eyes, you are the only thing that matters. The phone buzzes and he leans up, seeing your response. Jun pauses, considering his response.
Buzz
Jun's name lights up your screen. You don't touch it right away. Your chest tight, breath stalling as you almost drop your phone when you scramble to read his reply.
Jun: 'Yes.'
That's it? What's up with him.? You bring your knees up onto the closed toilet lid where you are sitting, your mind completely blank yet still full of questions. But aside your curiousity, your stomach stirs and your thighs rub together.
You are left with only one word as your solution.
You: 'Why?'
Jun shifts, pulling his hand from his waist. He sits up, the blanket bunching at his hips. He types, licking his bottom lip, considering his response. How was he supposed to tell you the truth? That he was obsessed?
Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.
His response was faster this time.
Jun: 'Was thinking about you'
'Wanted you to see it'
'To see how much I miss you'
Your knees weaken. Your breath gets heavier. Is this really happening? You don't even think before replying.
You: 'You're insane. I'm at Mingyu and Wonwoo's!'
Jun chuckles, shifting to lay back against the headboard, resting the phone against his chest.
Jun: 'Then be quiet for me.'
You stare at the message for a moment. Your skin tingling with heat as you subconsciously fan yourself. Biting your lip, you look back at the photo he sent before responding.
You: 'In the photo.. is that mine?'
A smirk curves Jun's lips as he reads your reply. His thumb tracing along the bare skin of his hip.
Jun: 'You're smart enough to figure that out'
'I bet they look better on you'
Your stomach flips at his words. It's a tone you've never heard from him before and it feels as though every thing he says sends a signal straight through your body.
You: 'What were you thinking!?'
His reply is instant.
Jun: 'Are you really that desperate to know what I was thinking about with your panties wrapped around my hard dick, hm?'
'Isn't it obvious?'
Jun pauses to think about what was on his mind. The image of you in those exact panties had been burned behind his eyelids. He'd been thinking about it nonstop for days at this point. He couldn't get you out of his system.
Jun: 'I've been thinking about you'
'About what I'd do if you were here'
Your thumb hovers over the keyboard. You type something back but delete it. Your heart beat becoming the only distinguishable sound over the hesitant tap of your typing.
You: 'Tell me'
Again, he replies almost instantly. As if he'd ridden this train of thought a hundred times before.
Jun:'Iâd have you on your knees right now'
'Iâd pull your hair back so I could see your face'
Jun's hand curls around his length, squeezing. It's a poor, poor replacement for what he really wants. He closes his eyes, his mind already creating a picture, just picturing you there with him, all to himself.
Jun: 'I'd make you open your mouth for me.'
'I wouldnât stop until you were a mess.'
'Then Iâd use my tongue, my fingers, my dick. I'd make you feel so good.'
You close your eyes and picture it. Your legs feel restless. You rub your thighs together desperately in a pathetic attempt to ease your need for any kind of friction.
Steps faltering, you stumble your way to unlocking the bathroom door. Relief floods you, both Mingyu and Wonwoo are asleep in their rooms â unaware.
As if he could sense your movements, your phone starts ringing. Sharp against the counter, sudden enough to make your heart skip.
Itâs him.
Your fingers hover over the screen. Breath catches. A pulse races through your chest, slowing only when you finally swipe to answer.
âHey,â his voice hums through the line, low and deliberate, like heâs already inside your head.
His voice sounds soft and deep, that tone which you have been missing. It had been far too long since you have heard it.
In any other scenario, your body would instinctively relax upon hearing this voice, however when surrounded by the fluorescent confines of this bathroom, with your underwear soaked and mind blank, your body can't help but tense.
You manage to catch your pacing breath and choke out a weak, "Hi.." into the phone. Your voice sounding much weaker and inferior against the weight of his baritone.
"Are you alone?" His voice trembled slightly, like he was holding back.
Your thighs clench at the sound. Too shy to respond, you nod in response before remembering he can't see you. "I am.."
Thereâs a pause, and itâs like you can feel him leaning closer, teasingly close.
"Good. Sounds like your still in the bathroom. How about you make your way to their guest room, hm?"
Your skin prickles as if he was really next to you, as if he's in your ear, breath sliding down your throat. Without thinking, you follow his command, allowing the sound of your footsteps to act a signal of your obedience to him.
"I'm laying in the bed now.."
Jun brought your soft lace towards his face and breathed in your scent, although he's been doing it for so long it's started to fade. That doesn't stop him from pulling out his aching cock again, still wet with precum.
"Following my orders, already? How about a second one?"
"What is it?
He is fully fisting his cock now, aware that the sounds must be escaping into your phone speaker yet unable to stop himself upon hearing your voice.
"You're okay with this, right?" "Fuck, please say you are."
You can practically hear his brows knitting together through his voice. God, you wish you could see him pleading for you like this.
"I promise, what's the second order?"
Jun then slides your panties to his lower face and licks a determined stripe along the fabric, letting out a disgusting whine before speaking.
"Be good and let me hear how wet you are."
Your fingers teased with the hem of your panties, as your grinded up into the fabric. That wasn't enough â so you let the pad of your finger slide down the length of your wet cunt.
Junâs breath hitched, a sharp groan slipping out as he bucked his hips up into his fist, ruined already by the slick sounds you were making for him.
"Does it scare you how much you want this?" Jun's voice is low, strained but authentic.
"It scares me just as much as it excites me." Your words are promptly silenced by a moan as you let a single finger slip past your folds.
Jun takes your panties and threads them back around his cock, fucking the fabric with deep thrusts, his mind only centered around how much better you'd feel.
You can hear the sound of his slick fist through the speaker, wet and obscene, mixing with his low groans. Your back arches instinctively against the hard mattress, your legs spreading wider as you circle your clit with trembling fingers.
âJun-â you gasp his name, your voice high and shaky.
He groans at the sound, almost guttural. âFuck, say it again. Say my name like that.â
You do, over and over, until youâre whining it like a chant. No longer giving a fuck if Mingyu or Wonwoo hear.
âI want to be inside you so bad,â he mutters, voice strained and heavy with lust. âI want to feel you clench around me. I bet youâd be so tightâso wet. Youâd take me so good, baby.â
Your body reacts before your brain catches up, your fingers pushing inside yourself. The sharp stretch makes you cry out.
Jun hisses. âFuck, are you touching yourself for me? Are you fucking yourself while Iâm not there?â
âYes. Yes, Jun,â you admit, your voice breaking on his name.
The sound he makes in return is dangerous, deep and ruined. âGood girl. Thatâs my good girl. Pretend itâs me. Pretend itâs my cock stretching you open.â
You squeeze your eyes shut, doing exactly that. Pretending itâs him. Pretending his weight is pinning you down. Pretending his voice is spilling into your ear instead of through your phone.
âIâd make you beg for it,â Jun growls. âIâd make you beg for my cock before I even let you have it.â
Your thighs shake at his words. You fuck your fingers into yourself harder, sloppier, chasing the sensation.
âJun please,â you whimper, not even sure what youâre asking for.
He chuckles, dark and dirty. âThatâs it. Keep begging. You sound so sweet when youâre desperate for me.â
The noises on his end get faster, more frantic, the sound of his hand gliding over his cock sharp in your ear. You can picture him perfectly. His head tilted back, face flushed, his pretty mouth parted as he ruins himself with your underwear.
âIâm close,â you whisper, your voice nearly breaking.
His reply is instant. âCum for me. Cum with me. Need to hear how good my voice makes you feel.â
Your climax hits you hard, blinding, as your back arches off the bed. Youâre gasping his name like a prayer, holding the phone tight against your ear as if thatâll make him closer.
Jun follows seconds later. His breath stutters, a low moan spilling out of him as he finishes into your panties, his voice so raw and disgusting you know youâll never forget it.
Thereâs silence afterward, save for both of you catching your breath.
Finally, his voice cuts through the silence, soft and shaky: â...fuck. I wish you were here.â
The dorm was silent in the way only 3 am silence existed.
Lights off. Hallway dim. Everyone asleep.
The front door clicked open.
And thenâ
thud.
ââow.â
Jun woke up instantly.
Not because of the noise - but because something in it felt wrong.
He sat up in bed, hair sticking up, eyes bleary as he shuffled out of his room. The hallway light cast a soft glow just as a familiar figure stumbled into view, shoes half-off, bag slipping off one shoulder.
âWhatâŠ?â His words trailed off.
You took exactly one more step before gravity betrayed you.
Jun moved without thinking.
He caught you just as your knees gave out, arms wrapping securely around your waist and shoulders as your forehead tipped forward, missing the floor by inches.
âWhoaâ heyâ hey, hey,â he whispered urgently. âEasy.â
You blinked up at him, pupils unfocused, lips tugging into a lazy grin.
âLook, itâs Jun-ie!â
âYeah,â he sighed, half-relieved, half-exasperated. âItâs me.â
You leaned fully into him, weight dead and warm, arms slipping around his middle like it was the most natural thing in the world.
âJun-ie, you smellâŠlike laundry,â you slurred, thoughtfully.
Jun let out huffed a quiet laugh, adjusting his grip so you wouldnât slip. âThanks. Thatâs very flattering.â
You hummed, swaying.
Jun tightened his hold. âOkay. Youâre drunk. Exactly how much did you drink to end up like this?â
âNooo,â you protested, suddenly straightening up to poke his chest with a weak finger. âIâm notâŠjust a teeny bit.â
âRight.â
You pushed him away lightly, moving to take another step into the hallwayâ only to promptly trip over your own shoe.
Jun felt his heart jump as he launched himself forward, catching you again. âHeyâ!â
âSorry,â you mumbled immediately, words jumbling together. âDidnâtmeantowakeyou.â
âYou didnât,â he lied, already guiding you down the hallway. âCome on. Letâs get you to bed.â
You dragged your feet the entire way, stopping every few steps to fidget with his collar, or point at nothing in particular.
âJun-ah?â
Jun helped you sit on the edge of your bed, lips pursed as he watched you struggle to keep your balance sitting up.
âYes?â
âYouâre really handsome.â
He froze for half a second.
ââŠYouâre drunk.â
You nodded proudly. âWhich means Iâm honest.â
He bit the inside of his cheek to keep from smiling.
âStay,â he said gently. âDonât move.â
You immediately tried to stand.
Jun sighed, pushing you back down with a bounce. âOkay. New plan.â
He moved into a crouch in front of you, carefully lifting a leg to tug your shoes off one by one. You wiggled your toes the second they were free.
âOoo,â you giggled. âFeels illegal.â
âI donât want to know,â Jun muttered, already setting them aside. When he stood up again, you were already leaning sideways, eyes fluttering.
âHey,â he said softly, steadying you lightly. âIâve got you.â
You looked up at him, suddenly very serious.
âI trust you.â
Something warm settled in his chest.
Jun helped you lie back, propping pillows just right before heading to the bathroom to grab a pack of makeup wipes and a glass of water. When he returned, you were already laying flat on the bed, fiddling with the hem of your shirt, mumbling to yourself.
âOkay,â he said quietly. âIâm going to clean your face, alright?â
You squinted. âWhy?â
âSo you donât wake up looking like a raccoon.â
ââŠI like raccoons.â
âI know,â he smiled.
The mattress dipped where he leaned over to reach you; Jun wiped your makeup off slowly, carefully - gentle strokes, patient pauses whenever you squirmed.
You kept grabbing his wrist.
âStop moving,â he whispered.
âIâm not moving,â you protested. âYouâre moving me.â
He laughed under his breath. âYouâre impossible.â
âYou love me,â you said, eyes half-closed.
Junâs hand stilled.
ââŠYouâre drunk,â he said again, much softer this time.
You yawned, fingers still curled around his sleeve.
âMhm. Night, Jun.â
He sighed, climbing off the bed to throw the stained wipe into a trash can - then moved back to tuck the blanket around your shoulders, brushing your hair away from your face one last time.
You shifted, fidgeted, then reached out again - blindly this time - catching his hand.
âDonât go,â you mumbled.
Jun hesitated only a second.
âIâm right here,â he whispered, sitting on the edge of the bed. âSleep.â
Your breathing evened out almost immediately.
Jun stayed a while longer, watching the way your face relaxed in sleep, the way your hand still clung loosely to his fingers.
Adorable.
Completely, unfairly adorable.
He gently freed his hand, stood up, and flicked off the lamp.
Before leaving, Jun paused - pulled the blanket up just a little higher around you, and murmured quietly to himself:
ââŠHow do you get cuter when youâre like this?â

âHow come you never stay the night?â You pause, shirt halfway on, processing what youâve just been asked.
After buttoning up your jeans, you finally turn to look at Jun.
Jun, Jun, Jun.Â
Itâs hard to focus when heâs sitting up in his bed, looking at you with shiny, earnest eyes. When you know heâs entirely naked underneath the covers.Â
Itâs always the same.Â
You text Jun, or he texts you, you come over to his place when his roommates arenât home, you let him rearrange your guts for hours, you cuddle under the covers until it gets dark out, then reality kicks in, so you get dressed and leave, convincing yourself that itâs better this way.Â
You met Jun six months ago at your college campusâs local bar. Grace, your best friend, was invited to hang out with this guy she was seeing- Wonwoo, so she dragged you along, subjecting you to a dissection into how long it would take for Wonwoo, whom youâd never met, to kiss her. And what kind of kisser he would be.Â
Wonwoo turned out to be incredibly handsome, so it only made sense that he had equally handsome friends. Like Wen Junhui.Â
However, his personality was a tale as old as time.
Iâm not into anything serious.
Havenât you heard? He never sleeps with the same girl twice.
I like to keep it casual.
Itâs not like you had to worry much about this because Jun didnât notice you at all that whole night. The more Grace dragged you to places to see Wonwoo, the more you saw Jun, and finally, one fateful night in December, he noticed you.Â
He was a lot softer than you were expecting, having a genuine conversation with you, bending occasionally to hear you better over the loud noise, looking deep into your eyes like you were the only person in the room.Â
It was inevitable that youâd fall into his spell. And his bed.Â
Youâre not sure if you really like him, because even though he knows every inch of your body and you know every inch of his, you donât know anything about him. What are his dreams? What does he do for fun? What is his biggest fear? You donât know and you donât ask.
Itâs better this way.
Itâs always going to be better this way.
âI have a cat.â
Jun tilts his head curiously.
âUm, he doesnât really like my roommates, so I need to be home to feed him and take care of him.â
Jun perks up at this. âI love cats! Whatâs his name?â
âPeanut.â
The smile you receive is breathtaking.Â
âI need to see a picture of Peanut sometime.â
Youâre caught so off guard by this whole exchange that you donât even flinch when he pulls the covers off his body, exposing himself to you before standing.
He grabs your elbow to pull you into his bare body and plants a kiss on your forehead just like he does every time you leave. Heâs walking to the bathroom when you suddenly have a thought.
âWait.â
Jun turns around.
âDo you, perhaps, want to meet Peanut?â
Peanut is the love of your life. Heâs a Balinese, so he has super long cream colored fur with a mixture of dark brown around his face and paws. Your favorite features of his are his big, bright blue eyes.Â
Heâs incredibly apprehensive when you pull Jun forward to introduce them to each other. Peanut immediately runs to hide behind your vanity, slightly peeking his head out like heâs intrigued. You watch in profound dumbness as Jun gets down on his knees and starts meowing back at Peanut. How is Wen Junhui, one of the hottest guys youâve ever met, this cringey? Before an ick can start to develop, Peanut slowly comes out of his hiding spot, approaching Jun like a fox on the prowl for prey.Â
Step by step.
Before you know it, Peanut is curled up in Junâs arms, purring contently. He looks at you, his big blue eyes saying one thing: I approve.
After taking your much-needed hot, steaming shower, you emerge from the bathroom to find Jun laying on his stomach, playing with Peanut, tapping his paws like a game of cat and mouse, giggling at Peanutâs tiny meows. You smile at the scene, glad that Jun is getting along so well with your cat, who isnât even fond of your roommates. It also gives you the opportunity to observe the guy you know so little about.Â
When you first started messing around with Jun, he had very long bleached blonde hair, bangs framing his incredibly gorgeous and well-structured face. Now his hair is back to its original color- black. Itâs still long, parted slightly to the side, with bangs up to his sharp cheekbones. He wears small gold hoops, one on each ear, and lastly, dark brown oval-shaped glasses. When you see Jun outside of his bedroom, heâs typically not wearing his glasses, so you feel the slightest flutter in your heart that only you see him like this.
You also take the time to admire his muscular back, grateful that he chose to only wear loose gray sweatpants. Gosh, where do you even begin? Jun looks very tall and lanky, but underneath everything, he has an extremely well-defined body that you know takes lots of effort to maintain. From his chiseled abs, to his hard pecs, to his bulging arm muscles- you canât even express just how beautiful he is.
He turns around to you, standing there ogling him, and of course, he gets a bit cocky, even flexing his biceps just for you.Â
âI see you and Peanut are getting along?â you hum, curling yourself into Junâs arms. He stares down at you with a look youâve never seen in him. Before you know it, his lips are on yours, his big hand cradling the back of your head. It slowly starts to entangle in your hair, and you feel yourself melt into him.Â
When you break apart, you feel soft fur brush against your arm. Peanut settles himself on Junâs chest, nuzzling against his chin. The two of you let out a laugh of disbelief at getting cockblocked by your own cat. But, if you were being honest, you werenât really in the mood. Just being with Jun like this was all you wanted.Â
Draping the covers over him, you nestle into his side, making eye contact with Peanut. Jun wraps his arm around you, massaging your scalp in slow circles.Â
âIs it really better this way?â you ask softly.
Junâs hand in your hair pauses. âWhat do you mean?â
You shift so you can look up into his face. âIs what we have right now the best for us?â
âNo, but to be honest with you, I donât feel confident in my ability to be a boyfriend. Itâs a lot of effort that I selfishly donât feel like I can give. I just donât want to disappoint you.âÂ
Silence fills the room as you process this subtle blow of rejection.
âHow about this? Letâs go on a date. We can go to that new chicken spot downtown and get to know each other more?â he asks.
âReally?â
âYeah. Youâre worth trying for,â Jun reassures you with a smile.
With a kiss to your forehead and the promise of something more, the three of you fall asleep.

The house was older than your name.
It stood past the last turn of the countryside road, half-swallowed by the forest, where even the birds refused to sing. The lawyer had given you the address over a call that sounded static, voice clipped, rushed â like he didnât want to linger on the topic too long.
âAn inheritance, Miss L/N,â heâd said. âA private estate. Been untouched for years. Youâre the last living relative.â âRelative of who?â youâd asked. âOf the previous owner, Miss Wen.. if I remember correctly. Distant, very distant. She had no direct heirs. You might want to- ah -look through the documents yourself.â
The call ended before you could ask more.
Now, standing at the foot of the property, suitcase in hand, you realised how words could never have prepared you for this.
It was enormous, but not in the modern sense. The house was alive in its decay â a mansion of forgotten gold and black wood, wrapped in ivy that crawled like veins up the cracked stone. The windows glowed faintly amber, reflecting the dying sun. Even the wind that brushed against your skin felt heavy with something unsaid.
âOkay,â you muttered to yourself, pushing the rusted gates open. âCreepy, but not.. haunted. Hopefully.â
Your footsteps echoed across the gravel path leading up to the grand doors. Each step felt like trespassing on someoneâs memory. When you finally pushed the door open, it didnât screech or fight you like an old hinge should â it sighed, like the house itself was breathing you in.
The first thing that hit you was the smell â grass and rain, faint but fresh, like someone had opened a window minutes ago. The foyer stretched out before you, the chandelier above still glittering under years of dust. Paintings lined the walls. Not landscapes, not still lifes â just portraits. Of the same man.
You paused in front of one. He was handsome in a way that felt wrong for being immortalised in oil paint â sharp jaw, dark, tousled hair that falls around his neck in soft layers, eyes are gentle yet piercing. Scattered across his skin are small, striking moles â near his lips, another on his cheek, and gracing his forehead â as if even the universe couldnât resist marking beauty where it found it.
Someone had painted him with devotion. You leaned closer. âWhoever you were,â you whispered, âyou were definitely the favourite.â
The next few hours passed in quiet exploration. Every room was preserved â sheets draped over furniture, candles that looked half-burned but untouched by time, books still open mid-page on desks. It was eerie, yes, but also intimate. Like someone had just stepped out of the room and would return any minute.
By dusk, exhaustion caught up with you. You found the master bedroom on the second floor â and stopped cold. It was clean. No dust. The bed was made perfectly, the sheets turned down as though waiting. There was even a small vase by the window, a single white rose standing tall in it. You frowned.
âSomeoneâs been here,â you murmured. Then, louder, calling out just in case, âHello? Is anyone-?â Silence. Except the faint hum of wind through the old vents. You hesitated, then sighed. âGuess Iâll just lock the door.â
The bed was too soft. Too inviting. You sat down anyway. The pillow smelled faintly of cedar and musk, a scent that didnât belong to you. Still, the fatigue was pulling you under, and you let your eyes close for just a moment.
â
A breath brushed your neck. So real, so warm, it made every hair on your body stand on end. âYou came back.â You bolted upright, eyes scanning the room. âWhoâs there?â Nothing. Only the curtains swaying even though the windows were closed.
Your heart hammered as you reached for your phone flashlight. Its glow hit the mirror across the room â and froze you in place. In the reflection, someone stood behind you. A man, tall and pale, dressed in white collared shirt, neckline framing a single pearl necklace that adds a delicate contrast to his look.
Over it, he wears a black tweed jacket interwoven with silver threads, catching light in subtle glints. His expression wasnât threatening. If anything, he looked relieved. He smiled softly. âYou shouldnât be afraid. Iâve waited long enough.â
You turned around. Empty. Your throat felt dry. âIâm-â You laughed weakly to yourself, trying to shake it off. âdefinitely calling the real estate agent tomorrow.â
You climbed back into bed, pulling the blanket tightly around your shoulders. But your body refused to relax. When your breathing finally steadied, you noticed something that made your pulse skip again. Your dress.
It had slipped halfway off your shoulder, your collarbone bare. And on your skin, faint as breath, was the outline of a handprint. You stared at it until your eyes blurred, until the scent of roses filled the air, until sleep pulled you back into the dark.
And somewhere, between waking and dreaming, you heard him whisper again â closer this time, almost tender âIâm glad youâre back, Wen Y/N.â
Morning came gently â too gently for an abandoned place. The light that poured through the curtains was soft and gold, catching the dust in the air like glitter. You sat up slowly, your body still wrapped in that hazy, half-remembered dream. There was no handprint now. No scent of smoke or roses. Just quiet.
âOkay,â you whispered, rubbing your eyes. âMaybe I just freaked myself out.â You checked your phone. Now weâre talking. I can definitely live here, there's a signal. It showed the time, 7:43 a.m. You mustâve slept like a rock.
After washing up with the little water that still ran in the bathroom sink, you wandered downstairs. The house looked different in daylight â less ominous, more tragically beautiful. Every surface was layered with dust except for a few areas: the stairsâ rail, the main hallway, the parlour table. Like someone had constantly wiped them.
You knelt beside one of the portraits in the living room and dusted it gently with your sleeve. The manâs painted gaze met yours again, unblinking and patient. His eyes were dark brown, almost gold under the varnish.
There were at least eight portraits in the entire house, all of him. Each painted a little differently: one in uniform, another in casual robes, another holding a book. You moved to the last one by the fireplace â this time, he wasnât alone.
A woman stood beside him. The artist hadnât captured her face clearly, but she wore a white dress and veil, hand resting delicately on the manâs arm. A wedding portrait. You tilted your head, curiosity pricking at you. âSo.. you were married,â you murmured, brushing the edge of the frame. âAnd Iâm guessing your wife didnât inherit the place. Lucky me.â
You took a step back, hands on your hips. The house was huge, but not unmanageable. You could make it feel like home again. So you started cleaning.
At first, it was just idle â opening windows, letting air in, humming faintly under your breath. But then something strange happened. The longer you worked, the more you noticed subtle traces of order that werenât yours: beds already made, a vase refilled with white roses, curtains tied back differently. Someone â or something â had been maintaining this house all along.
You shook your head, deciding to distract yourself before your imagination spiraled like last night. Grabbing your phone, you opened your messages to message your best friend.
Y/N: guess who inherited a horror movie set đ
Hao đ: LMAOOO donât tell me itâs that creepy old mansion your mom mentioned??
Y/N: yeah. the one with zero neighbors and 800 ghosts per square meter
Hao đ: pls send pics đđ
Y/N: hold up
You snapped a few photos: the cracked chandelier, the grand staircase, one of the portraits â you didnât even realise until later that it was the wedding one.
Y/N: okay ngl itâs pretty. like victorian pretty. you should come here.
Hao đ: looks like somewhere a hot ghost would haunt.
Y/N: stop! đđ
Hao đ: no bc imagine waking up w/ a ghost husband like âgood morning my brideâ đ
Y/N: STOP IT HAO I SWEAR IâLL MOVE OUT
Hao đ: u say that but u also said ur into tragic romance when bored soooo đ
You laughed out loud, the sound echoing across the empty hall.
Y/N: fine. if a ghost husband appears iâll let u know so u can write my obituary.
Hao đ: deal
You pocketed your phone, still smiling. The house felt a little less lonely now. By afternoon, sunlight filtered through the stained-glass windows, scattering coloured light on the floor. You carried an armful of old books back to the library and froze when you saw one already open on the table â one you knew you hadnât touched.
Its pages were lined with elegant handwriting. You could barely read the faded ink, but you caught one phrase clearly underlined: âBound beyond death, by name and vow.â A chill ran down your arms. You shut the book gently, heart thudding. âOkay.. enough cleaning for today.â
Outside, the wind had stopped entirely. The forest was silent. The only sound left in the house was your breathing â and somewhere, faintly, a low hum. Like someone singing through the walls.
The house was quiet that night. Too quiet.
You settled at the desk with your laptop, your only source of light a small lamp youâd brought from your old apartment. The rest of the room lay in shadows, the wallpaper peeling faintly in the corners as if the air itself had been holding its breath for years.
You cracked your knuckles, muttering, âOkay. Chapter sixty-three. Letâs do this.â The blinking cursor greeted you like an old friend.
Your book â To Breathe Again â had been a year in the making, and your editor had been hounding you for pages. The irony of working on a novel about necromancy wasnât lost on you. You even laughed about it when you messaged Minghao earlier those years.
Y/N: if i start writing ghost love stories donât pick me up, iâm doing the right thing
Hao đ: u kinky mf
Y/N: shut up đ
Hao đ: ok but if u get possessed can u at least ask the ghost to edit my thesis
You shook your head, smiling to yourself before getting back to work. Hours passed unnoticed, the rhythm of typing filling the silence like a heartbeat. Sometimes you swore you could hear faint footsteps pacing the hallway â the kind that made the wooden floor groan softly, like memory itself stretching awake. Every time you paused to listen, the sound stopped.
Around 2 a.m., you leaned back in your chair and sighed. âOne more paragraph,â you told yourself. But the words on the screen blurred together, and your head eventually dipped forward. You mustâve dozed off right there at the desk.
When you woke, it was morning again. The sun slanted through the tall windows, warm on your face. You blinked against the light, you woke up in the bed âahm.. did I sleep walk here last night?â you mumbled, stretching your arms.
But your body felt sore in a way that didnât make sense â like youâd been tossing in bed for hours, muscles overworked and trembling faintly. Your nightgown clung to your skin, a little too loose at the collar and ends almost reaching your hips.
You frowned, rubbing your eyes. It hurts. Thatâs when you noticed your laptop. The document youâd been writing was still open â but your last sentence had changed. Instead of âShe pressed her hand against the cold stone altar..â the words now read:
She pressed her hand against the warmth of his chest and whispered, âIâm home.â
Your heart stuttered. You didnât remember typing that. And yet.. the phrasing sounded exactly like something you would write. You closed the laptop slowly, the faint scent of something â cedar, musk, and roses â lingering in the air, as if someone had been beside you all night, breathing close enough to touch.
The smell of sizzling butter filled the kitchen, the sound of eggs hitting the pan soft and rhythmic. Sunlight pooled faintly through the old lace curtains, dust swirling in golden ribbons. You could almost pretend the house wasnât haunted â that it was just another quiet morning.
Almost.
You rolled your shoulders, wincing. There was still a deep, dull ache running through your muscles, especially between your thighs. âDid I- sleep weird?â you muttered, rubbing the back of your neck. You brushed off the thought with a nervous laugh and reached for the salt.
It mustâve been another one of those dreams. The kind that felt too real, too heavy. You remembered flashes â pale fingers tracing your skin, a whisper against your ear. The dream manâs touch had been so vivid that your body still remembered the heat. Youâd seen his face this time too, clear and unblurred, framed by soft candlelight.
And it wasnât just any face.
Your gaze drifted across the kitchen, toward the hallway where the portraits hung â the ones youâd noticed. You froze, spatula hovering midair.
The reflection in the hallway mirror caught him perfectly â the same slanted eyes, the same mouth curved like a secret. You blinked, once, twice, stepping closer to make sure your eyes werenât playing tricks.
It was him.
The man from your dreams.
Your stomach dropped, pulse quickening in your throat. Heâd been here all along, hanging silently in those frames, watching you from the moment you arrived.
You forced a shaky laugh, brushing stray hair from your face. âOkay. Creepy coincidence. Itâs just- just the power of suggestion, right?â you told yourself, trying to sound convinced. âYou saw the portrait before bed, your brain mashed it into a dream. Simple.â
The portrait didnât answer. Behind you, the stove hissed. And for the briefest moment â just before you turned off the heat â you thought you heard a low voice whisper near your ear, soft and familiar âGood morning, my bride.â
You froze mid-breath.. again, every hair on your neck standing up. The voice was right there. Close enough that you could feel the faintest whisper of air brush past your ear. Your body reacted before your brain did.
âWHAT THE!â You spun around with the frying spatula raised like a weapon, egg still clinging to the edge. âWHOâS THERE?! I SWEAR IâLL- IâLL FLIP YOU TO HELL!!â
âPlease donât,â came a calm, almost amused voice from somewhere behind you. It wasnât echoing, wasnât hollow â it sounded real. Too real. âYouâll stain the walls with yolk, and I quite like our kitchen.â
Your eyes darting around the empty room. No one. Nothing. Just the faint sound of your pan still sizzling. Your heart hammered against your ribs. âWho- who said that?â Silence. Then, softly: âJun.â
You blinked. âJun..? What? Huh- ha?!â A small pause, then a low hum that almost sounded like a chuckle. âSo you can hear me. Thatâs good.â
Your grip tightened on the spatula. âOkay. Either Iâm losing it, or Iâm being haunted by a polite ghost who cares about kitchen hygiene.â âHaunted?â Jun sounded genuinely offended. âThatâs a rather cruel word for a husband, donât you think?â
You gawked at the air. âExcuse me- husband?!â âYes.â His tone softened, almost fond. âYouâve been wearing my ring.â You glanced down â and nearly dropped the spatula. On your left hand, glinting faintly in the sunlight, was a thin silver band. You had no idea when it got there.
âOh hell no,â you whispered, yanking it off. âThis is not happening.â Junâs laugh was gentle, teasing. âYou always say that. I miss hearing from you.â
âWhat- no, no, no! Donât gaslight me, Casper!â âThatâs not my name.â âI donât care!â you shouted at the air. âYou-! Get out of my house! Out! Whatever supernatural lease you think you have here, itâs over!â
âIâm afraid itâs not,â he said lightly. âThis house is also mine.. and to you.â You dragged a hand down your face, spatula still clutched tight. âGreat. Fantastic. I move into a cursed house, and my new roommate is a ghost husband with boundary issues.â
There was a low, almost bashful chuckle. âYou werenât complaining last night.â You froze, eyes wide. âExcuse me?â But the voice didnât answer this time â just a faint, amused hum that faded into the creak of the old walls.
You pointed the spatula at the ceiling. âDonât you dare ghost-laugh at me, Jun!â Somewhere, you swore you heard the faintest echo of a grin in his voice, that made you drop your spatula âYouâre cute when youâre angry, my bride.â
â
You sat at the kitchen counter, laptop open, breakfast cold. The spatula still lay on the floor where youâd dropped it mid-crisis. Your phone buzzed beside your plate. You snatched it up like a lifeline.

You groaned, burying your face in your hands. âWhy are my friends like this,â you muttered aloud. Why is Mingyu missing out of all times.. Seokmin and Minghao are no help. From somewhere down the hall, a familiar voice replied, low and teasing, âAre you in distress?â
You shrieked and nearly dropped your phone. âHAO HEâS HERE AGAIN.â
Hao đ: ok listen before u start performing an exorcism, record it. i want receipts.
Y/N: u want me to RECORD THE DEMON?
Hao đ: for science.
Y/N: i hate you.
You peeked over your shoulder, heart pounding. âJun?â âIâm here,â came the smooth reply, closer now. âYou donât need to shout, my love.â You stiffened. âDonât call me that!â âI canât,â he said softly, like it was the saddest truth in the world. âYouâre all I have left.â
The words hung in the air, so gentle it almost made you forget the absurdity of the moment. Almost. You typed one last message with shaky fingers.
Y/N: ok yeah maybe the ghost husband is kinda sad and not bad
Min đ”âđ«: so u admit heâs hot
Y/N: BLOCKED.
You set your phone down, exhaling deeply. âOkay.. Jun,â you muttered, scanning the empty room. âIf weâre really doing this ghost tenant thing, why are you still here?â A quiet laugh brushed your ear like wind.
âDevotion. It ties me to the house.. to you.â You groaned. âOh my god. Heâs poetic too.â
It started the same way it had the last two nights. The soft creak of floorboards. The faint shift of weight on the mattress. The air cooling around you as if someone had opened a window. You didnât move this time.
âJun,â you whispered into the dark. âYouâre here again, arenât you?â Silence, then âI always am.â His voice came from beside you, smooth as velvet, threaded with something ancient. âYou sleep so restlessly when Iâm not.â âI sleep restlessly because thereâs a ghost in my bed,â you muttered, sitting up halfway.
âDo you even.. sleep?â He chuckled, the sound low and fond. âNo. Not anymore.â You exhaled through your nose, squinting into the faint light spilling through the curtains. âOkay, letâs try this again. Who are you, Jun?â
âIâve told you,â he said gently. âI am your husband.â You rolled your eyes. âThatâs not an answer. A name and a marital claim donât explain why I wake up sore, by the way.â A pause. His voice softened, almost guilty. âI havenât touched you without your consent.â
You arched a brow toward the darkness. âReally? Because my sore thighs say otherwise.â âI swear it.â His tone deepened, steady and earnest. âYour body aches from something else â the remnants of the bond. The house.. it remembers. And through it, so does your body.â
âThe house remembers?â you repeated, half a scoff, half a laugh. âJun, thatâs not- thatâs not even science. Thatâs..â âMagic,â he finished for you, quiet but unyielding.
You stared at the shadows for a long moment. âYou expect me to believe that Iâm some reincarnated bride living in a haunted love nest?â âI donât expect you to believe,â he murmured. âOnly to listen.â
Your throat tightened â something about the way he said it felt real. Too real. You tried to sound casual. âThen why are you here? Why canât you just.. move on? Find peace, cross the afterlife, whatever ghosts are supposed to do.â
A silence. Then the faintest brush of a cold fingertip against your wrist â hesitant, reverent. âBecause my peace was buried with you.â You froze. âYouâve got the wrong girl,â you whispered, voice trembling despite yourself.
âPerhaps,â Jun said softly. âBut tell me, why do you wake up with my name on your lips?â You blinked, stunned. âI- I donât.â âYou do,â he said simply. There was no arrogance in it, only sorrow.
You fell quiet for a moment, staring at the darkness that felt far too alive. âYou really didnât do anything?â âNo,â he said, and this time his voice was gentle enough to make you believe him. âOnly kissed you when you were dreaming. You looked so lonely.â
Your heart squeezed. âThatâs still technically not consent.â He laughed quietly, the sound curling through the air like smoke. âThen Iâll ask properly next time.â
You sighed, lying back down. âThereâs not going to be a next time.â âI said that once too,â he murmured. You pulled the blanket over your face, trying to hide your smile. âYouâre so dramatic for someone dead.â
âI was dramatic before I died,â he countered, teasing now. âYou said you liked it.â You turned to where you thought he was, whispering, âYou talk too much.â âAnd you listen too little.â
Somewhere between his chuckle and your quiet hum of annoyance, your eyes slipped closed. The bed dipped slightly, just enough for you to feel the outline of someone lying beside you. And though you told yourself you didnât believe in ghosts, you still whispered, just before sleep took you,
âGoodnight, Jun.â A hand â cold but gentle â brushed your hair back. âGoodnight, Y/N.â
â
You pushed the front door open with your shoulder, grocery bags cutting into your fingers, sunlight spilling in behind you.
âJun!â you called out, voice echoing across the empty living room. âI was literally talking to you outside for ten minutes simply about if you do eat or not, and then I realised-â You paused dramatically, setting the bags down on the counter. âYou werenât even there!â
There was a soft hum from somewhere near the hallway â warm, amused. âWhy are you talking to yourself outside?â Jun said. You glared toward the voice. âDonât turn this on me. The delivery guy looked at me like Iâd lost my mind. I thought youâre with me. This past few weeks, you never leave me aloneâ
He chuckled quietly, the sound wrapping around you. âWould you rather I scare other people half to death? Also, I canât help you outside anywayâ
You huffed, unpacking the paper bags. âStill. You couldâve⊠I donât know. Come with me? You never go out.â There was a pause â not defensive, just words. âI canât,â he said simply. Your hands stilled on a carton of milk. âCanât?â
âThe house is my boundary,â he explained. âMy anchor. Iâm bound here â by the curse, by memory, by you. Step beyond the threshold and I start to fade.â You turned toward the sound, heart softening. âThatâs awful.â
âItâs tolerable,â he murmured. âI was alone here for so long before you came.â Your chest tightened. âJun..â He spoke again, light but wistful. âBesides, I like it here. You fill the rooms with noise and scent and warmth. Itâs almost enough to feel alive again.â
You rolled your eyes â to hide the sudden pang of emotion. âYou sound like a bad poem.â âI was a bad poet once,â he teased. âYou threw my drafts into the fire.â You froze mid-unpacking. âWhat?â He laughed, low and delighted. âAh â perhaps that was another life.â
You shook your head, smiling despite yourself. âYouâre insufferable.â âI missed being called that,â he said softly.
The quiet after that settled gently, like a comfortable silence between old friends, or husband and wife..? You busied yourself with arranging the vegetables, pretending you didnât notice the way the air thickened slightly around you â Jun standing close, unseen but undeniably there.
âHey,â you said after a moment. âIf you canât go out.. what do you do all day when Iâm gone?â âI watch,â he said simply. âCreepy.â âProtectively,â he amended, amused. âI walk through the halls. Listen to the wind. Sometimes I read over your shoulder when youâre writing.â
You shot a look toward the dark corner of the kitchen. âThatâs definitely creepy.â âThen perhaps,â he said, voice warm with laughter, âIâll keep doing it.â You couldnât help it â you laughed too, shaking your head. âYouâre impossible, Jun.â
âI was told I made an impossible husband,â he said, tone dipping into something soft, almost nostalgic. âBut I like to think Iâm improving.â You ignored the way your heart skipped. âKeep the flattery for someone you can actually touch.â
Another pause â this one quieter, heavier. Then: âI can touch you.. just to remind you,â he murmured.
You swallowed, suddenly unsure what to say. The light from the window dimmed as clouds rolled in outside, shadows crawling gently across the old wood floor. You pretended to focus on your groceries again, voice light but trembling slightly.
âWell,â you said, âif youâre going to touch me, at least help me unpack next time.â A faint rustle answered you â the bag of rice shifting slightly on its own, sliding closer to the cabinet.
You froze. Then laughed, a soft disbelieving sound. âShow-off.â From behind you hear his amused whisper, low and tender âOnly for my wife.â
â
It was past midnight, the kind of hour where even the wind outside seemed half-asleep. The house was wrapped in silence, save for the soft rustle of paper as you turned another page of your book. The lamp beside your bed cast a warm circle of light that didnât quite reach the corners of the room, where the dark always seemed to breathe.
You could feel him there. âJun,â you said quietly, without looking up. âAre you here?â A pause â then that familiar voice, soft and close. âIâm always here.â
You smiled faintly, still reading. âThatâs supposed to be comforting, right?â âI suppose that depends,â he murmured, âon whether you believe Iâm haunting you or protecting you.â
You tilted your head toward the voice. âYou keep saying youâre not haunting me, but it sure feels like it sometimes.â âWould a haunt make your tea every morning?â he teased gently.
âThat was you?â You blinked. âI thought I was just.. sleepwalking.â âI canât do much,â he said quietly, âbut I can move little things when the night is kind to me.â
You shut the book slowly, the words blurring. âWhy do you do it?â âBecause you forget to take care of yourself when you write,â he said simply. âYou get lost. I donât want to see you vanish the way I did.â
Your breath caught. âThe way you did?â He didnât answer at first â only silence, deep and heavy, filled the room. Then, softly âI loved too fiercely. Enough to tether my soul here.â You looked toward the darkness, where you thought his voice had come from. âFor her? Your wife?â
A faint laugh, like wind through old glass. âFor you.â The room suddenly felt colder, your heart lurching against your ribs. âJun, thatâs-â âI know,â he interrupted gently. âIt doesnât make sense. Not to you. Not yet.â
You pulled the blanket tighter around you, eyes scanning the space though you knew you wouldnât see him. âYou sound like a tragic novel waiting to happen.â âPerhaps thatâs why you were drawn here,â he said softly. âWriters always return to unfinished stories.â
You exhaled, half a sigh, half a shaky laugh. âYou make everything sound like fate.â âIsnât it?â His voice was closer now â you swore you felt the faintest brush of fingers along your hair, so gentle you mightâve imagined it.
âYou should sleep,â he murmured. âThe world outside can wait.â âAre you staying?â you asked, eyes drooping. âI never left.â You smiled faintly, a small surrender, before your eyelids fluttered closed.
Jun stayed â unseen but so achingly near, his presence hovering like a heartbeat in the dark. And when your breathing evened out, his whisper came, softer than a sigh âYou once told me youâd find me again. I suppose you always keep your promises.â
The cafe was the kind that looked like a Pinterest board come to life â soft lighting, fern leaves drooping over every table, the faint hum of an espresso machine mixing with lo-fi music. You sat by the window with your laptop open, pretending to edit your manuscript while your three best friends interrogated you like you were on trial.
âSo,â Hao started, sipping his iced latte dramatically, âhowâs married life?â You choked on your drink. âWhat- excuse me?â Min snorted. âDonât play dumb. You literally sent us a picture of another portrait and said, Heâs kinda hot for a dead guy. Donât tell me youâre not crushing on the house ghost.â
You pressed your fingers against your temple. âI was joking!â âWere you, though?â Gyu cut in, deadpan as ever. âYou also texted last night that someone made you tea again. Either you have a kind spirit or a trespasser with excellent domestic skills.â
Seokmin gasped theatrically. âOr maybe both!â You groaned, burying your face in your hands. âHeâs a ghost.â âThen why are you blushing?â Minghao leaned forward with a grin. âLook at her, Seok- sheâs blushing!â
âI am not!â you hissed, but your cheeks burned hotter than the cappuccino in front of you. âHeâs just..â You stopped, realising how ridiculous it would sound to admit that Jun talked to you every night. That he teased you, cared for you, comforted you in ways that humans canât even do.
Mingyu leaned back, stirring his coffee lazily. âYouâre acting like youâve got a boyfriend who only comes out after dark.â You glared at him. âHeâs not my boyfriend.â Seokmin propped his chin on his hands. âNot yet.â
Hao laughed so hard he nearly spilled his drink. âGod, this is gonna be one of her novels, isnât it? Lonely writer moves into a haunted house, ghost falls in love with her, she says itâs a curse, but he says itâs destiny-â
âStop quoting my life!â you interrupted, waving your spoon like a weapon. âYou guys are the worst.â âWeâre the realists,â Min said, still smirking. âYou just happen to be living inside your own plot twist.â
For a moment, they all laughed, that kind of carefree, echoing laugh that only happens in midday cafes. You joined in too, trying to drown out the strange warmth you felt under your ribs.
Your laughter stuttered, your eyes darting toward the window. The glass reflected only you and your friends â no one else. You sometimes think every time youâre outside, is he bored at home? Is he okay? That quiet presence. A part of you just wants to stay at home.
âSee?â Min teased, nudging you. âSheâs spacing out. Probably thinking about her ghost husband.â You forced a laugh, looking back at him, heart racing. âYeah,â you said softly. âSomething like that.â
The cafe hummed with lazy afternoon chatter. You sat across from Minghao, Seokmin, and Mingyu, who somehow turned what was supposed to be a casual catch-up into a full-blown roast session.
âYouâre into ghosts now, huh? So thatâs why youâre not dating anyone alive?â Hao said, chuckling. You jabbed a straw at him. âMinghao, I swear to God-â Gyu raised an eyebrow. âWhatâs his name again?â You hesitated. The word caught on your tongue. âJun.â
All three of them stared for a beat before Min smirked. âJun? You even named him?â âI didnât name him!â you said quickly. âThatâs what he-â You froze. âThatâs what his real wife, maybe, called him.â
âRight.â Mingyu nodded, clearly unconvinced. âSo this ghost talks to you, cooks for you, and sleeps beside you-â âHe doesnât sleep beside me!â you blurted, heat rising to your cheeks. âHe just- he-â âUh-huh.â Seokmin grinned. âYouâre doomed, man. Sheâs in deep.â
You tried to laugh it off, but your pulse was unsteady. Because later, when you were back home and the house greeted you with that quiet stillness, the laughter from earlier still echoed faintly in your head â you called Jun, yet no one was responding.
You frowned. He always answered when you came home. Even just a faint, teasing whisper â Youâre late, little human. But tonight, nothing. Just the quiet hum of air through the vents and the faint ticking of the antique clock in the foyer.
âOkay,â you muttered to yourself, forcing a laugh. âSo weâre doing the ghost-silent-treatment thing now? Cute.â You busied yourself in the kitchen, slamming a cabinet or two a little louder than necessary. Still nothing. The quiet felt heavier now â not the peaceful kind, but the kind that watches you.
âJun.â You called again, voice sharper. âIf youâre mad at me for something, at least say it. Donât just.. vanish.â The air stirred faintly behind you, like a breath on your neck. You turned, but the space was empty. A shiver ran down your arms.
âCome on. Donât tell me youâre sulking because I went out with my friends.â You rolled your eyes, more to convince yourself than anything. âYouâre not seriously mad, right?â Still nothing. You exhaled. âFine. Silent treatment it is. You win. Iâll just talk to myself then.â
You started rambling, pacing the living room like a stand-up comic trying to fill dead air. âFor the record, theyâre friends. Normal, breathing, alive friends who buy me coffee and donât haunt my house.â
The chandelier above flickered faintly. You stopped. âDid I strike a nerve there?â A faint hum of energy prickled across your skin â the sign that he was listening, even if he didnât want to admit it.
You sighed, softer now. âYou know, itâs kind of unfair. You disappear when I talk to other people, but then you act like Iâm supposed to just stay here waiting for you to materialise out of thin air.â The silence stretched.
You pressed your lips together. âIâm not yours, Jun.â
Thatâs when you heard it â not a loud voice, but something that slid into your mind like a thought that wasnât yours. âArenât you?â You froze. The temperature dropped suddenly, enough for your breath to fog in front of you.
âYou wear my ring,â his voice murmured now, closer, though he still wasnât visible. âYou live in my house. You sleep in my bed. You call my name every night without realising it.â
You spun toward the sound. âYou didnât answer when I came home. You scared me.â âI know.â The reply was soft, low, guilty â but underneath it, something darker stirred. âYou talked about me with them,â Jun continued, voice drifting between the walls, nearer and nearer. âYou laughed. You blushed. Did you enjoy that?â
âJun,â you warned, heart pounding, âhow did you even-? Donât do this.â He let out a breath of what almost sounded like a laugh. âYou think I donât feel it? Every time someone says your name, every time you smile at someone else, it burns.â
Your pulse quickened, a strange mix of fear and warmth tightening in your chest. âYouâre not even alive, Jun. What are you implying?â âMaybe not,â he whispered. âBut you still make me feel it.â
You swallowed hard, staring at the faint outline of his form starting to shimmer near the hallway mirror â not solid yet, just smoke and memory. âThen donât disappear like that again,â you said quietly. âIf you can feel something, then talk to me. Donât just.. leave.â
For a heartbeat, nothing. Then the faintest smile crossed his half-formed face. âYou missed me.â You scoffed. âYou were sulking.â âI was angry,â he corrected. âBecause for a moment, I thought maybe you preferred your men.â You looked at the mirror â at his faint, sorrowful expression behind your reflection.
âThey're not my men.. theyâre my friends. Youâre impossible,â you whispered. âAnd you,â Jun said softly, âare the only thing Iâve wanted in centuries.â
The room stilled. The air grew warmer. You felt the ghost of fingers trace the outline of your wrist â not cold, but not quite warm either. Just real enough to make you tremble.
Jun's reflection leaned closer, his gaze locked on your lips. His hands moved from your wrist to either side of your head, trapping you gently between his ghostly palms. âSay you're mine,â he whispered, his voice low and urgent.
You didnât answer. He held your hands and pulled you near the mirror, âDo you need to see me, for you to talk?â he said, a little annoyed, youâre not sure whether to you or to himself. You looked directly at the mirror, memorising his ethereal face.
His hands framed your face, thumbs gently brushing your cheeks as he stared into your eyes, making you look at his direction directly, nothing, you can see nothing. But you could feel his presence, his breath ghosting over your neck. âI'm not in the mirror, my wifeâ he murmured, voice coming from both directions. âI'm here.â
The ghostly hands slid from your cheeks to the back of your neck, fingers tangling in your hair. He leaned in closer, his translucent lips hovering just above yours. âLet me kiss you,â he whispered against your mouth. âPlease.â
You smiled.. âonly because you asked this time.â Jun's reflection smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He loved when you teased him, even a little. It meant you weren't scared of him. âOnly because I asked?â He repeated softly, his voice ghosting over your lips. âYou admitted before that you did without my consent.â
His expression turned serious, one hand moving to gently grasp your chin, turning your face slightly as if preparing to kiss you but stopping himself. âIâm sorry. That was my mistake.â His thumb brushed over your bottom lip. âThis time.. will be different.â
He stared at you intently, his hands steady and gentle. âI'll ask for permission every time. I'll wait for your agreement. And if you say no, I'll stop.â His voice was quiet, sincere. His eyes searched yours, looking for understanding.
You parted your lips slightly to answer. âThen go on.â That was all Jun needed. He surged forward, capturing your mouth softly at first. He tested your response â one hand cupped your cheek possessively while the other slid around your waist. You hummed softly, making him deeper. Now this is weird but also kinda hot.. Iâm kissing the air.
Junâs kiss grew more insistent, his tongue gently probing your mouth. He tasted sweet, like a phantom memory of honey and mint. His hands roamed from your waist downwards until they gripped onto your hips firmly pulling you closer towards him. You can feel him.
You gasped against his mouth as he pulled you closer, his cold hands gripping your hips tightly. Jun took advantage of your open mouth, deepening the kiss even further by pushing his tongue inside. He tangled it with yours, exploring your mouth thoroughly as if he was trying to memorise the taste of you. âFucking hell, you taste like heaven.â
âFor someone whoâs dead, you curse so strongly.â You said laughing in between the kisses. In the mirror, you can see him smirking against your lips, his voice husky and amused. âEven ghosts can curse when theyâre kissing someone theyâve been longing for.â His hands slid down to your thighs lifting them slightly as if trying to pull them around his waist.
You giggled, the sound muffled against his mouth. Jun groaned, the vibration sending shivers down your spine. He pulled harder, attempting to wrap your legs around his unseen waist. The mirror grew warmer, fogging up completely as their kiss grew more intense, more desperate.
âJun.. my imaginations may be wild, yet I canât do this to someone I can only see in the mirrorâ
Junâs smirk faltered. For a second, his reflection looked as though it was flickering â as if even his smile could no longer hold shape. Then he stepped back, his eyes dark and distant. âYou canât see me because youâre not supposed to.â
Before you could ask what that meant, his hand â cold but firm â grasped your wrist. The mirror rippled like water as he pulled you through the hallway. You stumbled after him, feet barely touching the ground, until you reached a door you had never opened before. It was the last one at the end of the corridor at the third floor â carved oak, locked since the day you moved in.
âJun, wait-â But the door creaked open on its own, revealing a dimly lit room heavy with the scent of old wood and faded perfume. Dust particles drifted lazily in the air, but beneath the decay, everything was preserved. A canopy bed stood at the center, its sheets neat, untouched. A wedding veil lay folded at the pillowâs edge.
âThis roomâ you whispered. âI never-â âBecause you werenât meant to remember it.â
Junâs voice was quieter now, stripped of playfulness, stripped of warmth. He stood by the window, you canât even see his figure under the pale afternoon light. You could see the garden though â but you know his eyes were solid, endless, tired.
âYou walk through this house like a stranger because you are one. But once, you werenât.â Your chest tightened. âWhat are you saying?â He looked at you, a faint tremor in his hands. âYou canât see me because you canât even remember who I am.â
The words felt like a knife â sharp, but dull in disbelief. âThatâs impossible. I just moved here. I just-â Jun shook his head. âNo. You came back.â He stepped closer. His voice softened, trembling with a kind of desperation youâd never heard from him before.
âYou promised me you would, before you died.â Your breath caught. âDied?â âBefore you died,â he said again, slower this time, as if tasting every syllable. âYou said you would find me. You said, âWait for me. Even if it takes lifetimes, Iâll come back.ââ
You blinked rapidly, a faint ringing in your ears. Your mind refused to accept it â but your body remembered something. A pulse in your fingertips. A flash of a wedding ring. A manâs laughter. A voice saying My Jun.
He continued, eyes glimmering like glass. âI remembered everything. Thatâs my curse. I have lived every life remembering you â who you were, how you died, how you looked at me the day we said our vows. Every damn lifetime.â
The room felt like it was spinning. You staggered back a step and looked around the room, dizzy. Thatâs where you realise, this room is the real master bedroom, with another portrait.. where Jun and the same woman from downstairs. The difference is that you could see her face clearly now.
A face that is very familiar to you. A face that you see everyday. Itâs your face. Itâs you. âNo.. Jun, that canât be real. Thatâs-â âYouâve always said that,â he whispered. âEvery life. Every time we meet, you never remember at first. But I always do. And every time, I find you.â
You shook your head, heart pounding painfully. âThen why am I here? Why this house?â âBecause itâs where we lived,â Jun said simply. âWhere I built a home for you. And where I died waiting when you didnât come back.â
Your lips parted, but no sound came out. He looked around the room, his gaze softening with memory. âThey called it devotion. I called it punishment. Iâve been bound here, in this house, between life and death, waiting for you. Every creak of the floorboards, every breeze through the window â itâs been you Iâve been calling.â
You sank onto the edge of the bed, the veil beside you brushing against your hands. âThen.. I died?â Jun nodded slowly. âYou did. In this life, you lost control of your car the day before our wedding anniversary. You were coming here.â He knelt before you, his touch barely grazing your knee, but warm now, almost human.
âYou survived,â he whispered. âBut you lost your memory. You forgot me.â Tears burned your eyes before you even realised you were crying. âSo thatâs why I canât see you. Because part of me still refuses to remember.â
Jun smiled sadly, brushing your tears away with fingers that faded halfway through the motion. âYou canât see me because you donât believe in me anymore. And without your belief, Iâm barely here.â
You tried reaching out to touch him, his hands guiding your hands to his face â his cheek, his hair, anything solid â but your hand passed through his face like mist.
Until it didnât.
Warmth bloomed under your touch. Solid. Living. Real. You gasped softly, feeling your heartbeat stumble as Junâs features sharpened in front of you â the faint curve of his smile, the mole beneath his eye, the soft slope of his nose. He was no longer just a shimmer in the mirror; he was right there.
He was beautiful. And familiar. Heâs divine.
The air pulsed once and then everything tilted. The floor beneath your feet dissolved, colours shifting, walls melting into light. You blinked and suddenly, the world changed.
Sunlight streamed through the canopy of white sakura trees, their petals falling like snow. You stood under an arch woven with lilies and pearls, your hands trembling as Jun slid a ring onto your finger.
âDo you promise to haunt me even if I die first?â you teased, your voice catching from laughter and tears. Junâs lips curved into that same half-smile youâd later dream about. âIâd rather haunt the world than live in it without you.â
You threw your head back, laughing softly, pressing your forehead to his. âThat sounds like a curse.âHe smiled against your lips. âThen Iâll gladly be cursed.â
â
You stood in front of the house you live in now â only brighter, newer. Boxes piled high on the porch, sunlight filtering through the vines climbing the walls. Jun appeared behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. âOur forever home,â he said, kissing your temple.
âItâs old,â you murmured. âAnd it creaks.â âSo do we, sometimes.â You laughed, swatting at him. âThatâs not romantic.â
He leaned closer, whispering, âThen let me try again.â He kissed your shoulder gently. âOur love will creak too, old, stubborn, and impossible to let go.â
â
The sound of clinking porcelain. You sat at the wooden kitchen table, hair still messy from sleep, while Jun poured you tea with that same careful grace he did everything with.
He kissed the back of your hand. âYou always forget breakfast when you write.â âAnd you always act like Iâll starve in two hours,â you said, rolling your eyes playfully.
âBecause you will,â he replied, sliding the cup toward you. âMy wife, the novelist who forgets she has a body.â You smiled, reaching out to tug him closer by the tie. âYou talk too much hubby.â
He chuckled. âI love youâ you smiled âI love you moreâ
â
The clock struck midnight, the house silent except for the faint hum of the record player. You were in your pajamas, barefoot on the hardwood floor. Jun appeared behind you, holding out his hand.
âDance with me,â he said simply. âThereâs no music.â âThereâs us.â
You laughed, slipping your hand into his. He spun you once, your laughter echoing in the dim light. The two of you swayed lazily, the world shrinking to the warmth of his hands on your waist and the sound of your quiet breaths syncing together.
â
Thunder boomed outside, rain drumming against the windows. You were both huddled in front of the fireplace, wrapped in a single blanket. âTell me something true,â you murmured, tracing his palm with your finger.
Junâs gaze softened. âWhen I first saw you, I thought I had seen you before. Like in a dream that Iâd already lived.â âAnd did you?â you asked.
His silence was long, his thumb brushing your cheek. âMaybe Iâll tell you in another life.â You frowned. âThatâs unfair.â âThen stay with me in this one,â he whispered, voice low, almost pleading.
Both of you laughed, as the warmth between you two became one, cuddling at the stormy weather at the bed.
â
âJun, stop reading over my shoulder!â you groaned, swatting him lightly with your pen. âI canât help it,â he said, grinning. âYour characters sound like us.â âThey do not.â
âThey do. âThe stubborn man who wonât take no for an answer,ââ he quoted dramatically, pointing to the page. âThatâs clearly me.â You threw a crumpled paper at him. âThen Iâll kill your character next.â
âThen Iâll haunt you,â he teased, eyes glimmering. You rolled your eyes. âThen Iâll marry you out of guilt.â âPerfect. My plan worked.â
â
Sunlight peeked through sheer curtains, painting soft stripes across the bed. Junâs arm was draped lazily around your waist, his chest rising and falling behind you.
âJun,â you murmured sleepily. âYouâre heavy.â He chuckled, half-asleep. âYou used to like it.â âI changed my mind.â He buried his face into your hair. âToo late. You married me.â
You sighed, smiling to yourself. âYouâre impossible.â He kissed your shoulder. âSo are you. Thatâs why it works.â
â
The dining room was dim except for candles you hastily lit on a lopsided cake. Jun entered the room and froze, eyes widening as you yelled, âHappy birthday!â âI told you not to-â
âYou think I listen to you?â you said, grinning. âMake a wish before I eat it all.â He stared at you for a moment before blowing the candles out. âI already did.â
You blinked. âWhatâd you wish for?â He leaned in, his lips brushing your ear. âTo live long enough to grow old with you.â You laughed, rolling your eyes. âThatâs so cheesy.â
But he smiled softly. âCheesy things are true things.â
â
The smell of oil paint filled the room. You sat by the window, sunlight catching in your hair while Jun worked on a portrait of you. âYouâre taking forever,â you complained, swinging your legs.
He looked up from the canvas, smirking. âYou move too much.â âIâm bored.â âThen talk to me.â You tilted your head. âWhat should I say?â
âSay something I can remember,â he said. You smiled. âI love you.â He paused, brush mid-air. âThatâll do.â
The memories collided with reality, your breath ragged as you stumbled back. The house, the mirror, the kitchen â everything shimmered and settled again into the dim golden light of dusk.
You were crying. Not from fear, but from the weight of recognition. âJun,â you whispered, your hands trembling as they cupped his face. âI remember everything.â
Jun smiled through the tears shining in his eyes. His thumb brushed the corner of your lips like heâd done a thousand times before. âYou came back to me.â
Your lips trembled. âAnd you waited.â He nodded once, a soft, broken laugh escaping him. âEvery lifetime.â
His smile turned into a hungry kiss as he pressed you against the old bed where you shared countless moments together youâve forgotten. His hands roamed over familiar curves remembered through centuries of waiting â for this exact moment where memory returned fully between two souls meant to be entwined forever.
His hands trailed down to your waist, pulling you flush against him as he kissed along your jawline. Suddenly, he pressed a cold finger to your neck, activating a necromantic chill that made you gasp and arch into him. âDo you remember my touch?â He whispered huskily
A wicked smile spread across his face as he remembered your kinks. He reached over to the bedside table and lit a candle, the flame flickering to life in the dim room. He started playing with temperatures, his breath, his touch being entirely cold, and the candle.. the wax. He dribbled hot wax onto your collarbone, watching as you gasped and your eyes fluttered closed. He knew exactly what you liked.
He kissed down your neck, his mouth alternately hot and cold like fire and ice. âWife.. you taste so good.â His lips trailed open-mouthed kisses along your collarbone with wax on it as he slowly unbuttoned your shirt, revealing more skin for him to worship.
One hand continued the slow torture of dripping hot wax onto your skin while the other hand slipped under your bra, teasing your nipple with cold fingertips. âCold or hot first?â He didn't wait for an answer, switching between hot wax poured onto your chest and his ice-cold hands caressing your skin.
This leaves you shivering and gasping beneath his touch. He unhooked your bra, throwing it somewhere as he continued his assault on your senses, his mouth claiming one hardening nipple while his fingers played with the other.
Junhui worshipped your body like heâd been starved for centuries â because he had been. His mouth trailed down to your stomach, kissing and licking each inch of skin he uncovered. He unbuttoned your pants slowly, almost reverently, pulling them down your legs along with your underwear.
He spread your legs gently, his cold hands contrasting with the heat of your core. He leaned down, blowing a cool breath over your clit before he spoke. âI remember everything about you. Every moan, every gasp, every shiver.â
âAnd I remember how you used to drive me crazy with that mouth of yours.â You spread your legs wider, teasing him deliberately. Jun groaned, pressing a freezing cold kiss directly onto your clit. âStop teasing me with your knowledge of my body,â
His cold tongue replaced his lips, licking a slow path up your slit before sucking your clit into his mouth. He used his fingers to spread you open further, his ice-cold digits pushing inside you suddenly. You gasped and bucked against him. âUhmm-hmm jun..â âYou used to call me hubby.â He murmured.
âMy hubby,â He growled against your sensitive folds, his fingers curling inside you while his tongue worked overtime on your clit. He remembered every spot that made you moan hubby. His other hand snaked up to pinch one of your nipples hard, making you arch into him.
âYou used to grab my hair and fuck my face when I do this..â He demonstrated by sucking hard on your clit while pushing three cold fingers deep inside you, curling them exactly how you used to love. âUgh! Fuck-â
You instantly wrapped your legs around his head, gripping his hair tightly and riding his face as you moaned his name like a prayer. Jun moaned loudly, his fingers freezing cold inside you as he remembered how much he loved being used by you.
âGod, you always ride my face hard when I touch you like this.â He added another finger, spreading them wide inside you, hitting your favourite spot. He blew cold air onto your clit again, watching your body tightly coil with remembered pleasure.
âStop reminiscing,â You pushed his head away sharply. He laughed softly, his mouth wet with your arousal. âNo more remembering how you used to bounce on my face?â He teased, trying to pull your hips back down onto his mouth. You smacked his head lightly, âAsshole.â
He caught your hips sharply, pulling you back. He spread your legs wide, feasting on you like a starving man. His fingers still inside you, curving them perfectly as he ate you loudly, slurping and sucking your clit like it was his last meal.
Your body tightened like a bowstring as he remembered exactly how you liked it. Within minutes, you were crying out, your legs shaking as you came hard against his mouth. âJunhui- God! Aghh Oh my- fuck!â
He kept eating you through your orgasm, his cold fingers never stopping their relentless attack on that sweet spot inside you. He loved how you tasted, how you moaned his name like a dirty prayer. When your legs finally stopped shaking, he pulled away slowly, licking his lips.
He sat up, his face glistening with your juices. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, looking up at you with hooded eyes. âYou taste even better than I remembered,â he said huskily. He spread his legs slightly, palming his hard, cold erection through his pants.
âMy turn, hubby.â
You smirked and slowly removed his jacket and white collared shirt, revealing his perfectly sculpted abs. He lifted his hips so you could pull down his pants and boxers in one smooth motion. His massive, erect dick sprang free, slapping against his stomach with a wet smack.
His hands came up to grip your hair as you looked down at his length. He was already cold and hard, leaking pre-cum. âTake it in your mouth,â he ordered roughly, his Chinese accent thickening with desire. His hand tightened in your hair possessively. âOpen Wen Y/Nâ
You spread your lips slowly, taking the tip of him into your hot mouth. He hissed sharply, his hips bucking slightly. âDamn it,â He muttered softly, watching your wet mouth stretch around him. âYou used to deep throat like a pro.â He gripped your hair tighter, guiding you slightly.
His eyes rolled back as you suddenly took him deep into your throat without warning, your nose pressing against his balls. He let out a choked groan â âFucking hell..â His hands tangled in your hair desperately as you started bobbing up and down rapidly, sucking hard âShit.. shit- shit, youâre even better now!â
His cold dick throbbed in your mouth as you kept deepthroating him, your tongue pressing against the sensitive vein underneath. He could barely speak, his voice coming out strained âFuck...fuck..fuck! Goddam- Ughhâ
With a loud, muffled groan, he came down your throat, his hips jerking uncontrollably. You swallowed every drop before pulling off with a wet pop. He fell back onto the bed, panting heavily. âStill so noisyâ You commented dryly, crawling up his body.
He wrapped his arms around you tightly, nuzzling into your neck and inhaling your scent. âSure sure..â He murmured against your skin, his voice hoarse. âYouâre the loud one. Always screaming my name.â He started kissing and sucking on your neck possessively. âMy hubby.. still so good for me.â
He rolled you onto your back, covering your body with his. I canât even see the ceiling. His cold hands gripped your wrists, pinning them above your head. His dark brown eyes bore into yours intensely. âTurns out, my wife gives even better head now. I wonder how else sheâs improved.â
One hand slid under your thigh. âSpread for me, Y/N. Let me check if that tight hole still belongs to me only.â His voice was low and commanding.
He pushed your legs apart roughly, his cold dick already hardening again. Iâm fucking a ghost. Heâs so cold. He positioned himself at your entrance, rubbing the head against your sensitive spot. âYou know what I love about this position?â He asked, his voice husky.
âWhat?â You barely said, âIt lets me go deep,â He answered darkly, pushing your thighs back sharply and slamming inside you hard. He hit the bottom instantly, making you cry out loudly. âSee?â He pulled back and thrust hard again, making you bounce on the bed. âNoisy.â
He started pounding into you relentlessly, the sound of skin slapping against skin filling the room along with your loud moans and cries. One hand remained on your wrist above your head holding it back while the other on your thighs âFuck-â He groaned, âToo loud, my wifeâ
His thrusts became deeper and harder, hitting that spot inside you perfectly. Your loud moans turned into high-pitched screams as he fucked you brutally. âShut up...shut upâ
He slapped a hand over your mouth as you screamed during another deep thrust. âAHHH-â âJesus,â He muttered against your neck, âYou sound like a fucking porn star.â He bit down on your shoulder to muffle his own groan, still fucking you mercilessly.
Your world turned into a blur of cold hands gripping your body painfully, eyes glinting menacingly above you, and a ghostly cock pounding into you. You could feel every inch of him stretching you open, hitting depths you never knew existed. âMmph..â
You felt possessed, fucked by a literal ghost who showed no mercy. His cold body slammed against yours relentlessly, making the headboard bang against the wall loudly. Your screams were echoing, spit dripping from the corners of your mouth.
Tears streamed down your face from the intense pleasure-pain as he hit your cervix with every thrust. Your nails scrambled against his back, leaving red marks on his pale skin. You felt like you were being claimed by a supernatural being, completely at his mercy. âNghh!â
Your tears only seemed to fuel his hunger for you. He watched, mesmerised, as they spilled down your cheeks and dripped onto the pillow. âAdorable,â He groaned, his voice laced with dark desire. âMy pretty wife crying while I fuck you stupid.â
Mid-thrust, an abrupt memory flashed through his mind â the candle he had lit earlier, still burning softly nearby. A wicked smirk crossed his ghostly face as an idea struck him. âHold that thought..â He suddenly pulled out completely, leaving you empty and whimpering. âDon't move.â
He quickly reached the candle, dipping his cold fingers into the melted wax. The room fell silent except for your laboured breathing and soft sniffles. âI forgot youâre a ghost, and how you canât feel pain.â He chuckled then looming over you with a sinister grin and wax-covered fingers. âSpread wider,â He ordered darkly. âLet's play a little game.â
Without warning, he pressed the warm wax against your sensitive entrance, pushing it inside you slowly. You gasped at the foreign feeling, your hole stretching to accommodate the wax. He added more, filling you up with the warm substance before snapping his fingers. âCold now.â The wax instantly hardened inside you,
Leaving you with a feeling of extreme fullness and pressure. He pushed your legs back even further, until your knees were practically touching your ears. âNow, let's see how long this pretty little human can hold still while I fuck her with a frozen, wax-filled hole.â
He lined up his cock again, pushing the head against your entrance. He groaned as he slowly slid in, the hardened wax making you even tighter than before. âGoddamn,â He grunted, âYou feel insane right now.â
With a sharp thrust, he buried himself balls-deep inside you. The sudden intrusion forced a loud, strangled moan from your throat. âAhh..! F-fuck..!â You bucked your hips instinctively, only for the wax to shift inside you uncomfortably. âN-no...ahh- st-still..â
He wrapped a hand around your throat to hold you down as he started thrusting his hips slowly, each thrust causing the wax to grind against your prostate pleasurably. Your moans turned into broken whimpers as he fucked you with that unrelenting fullness. âShh, my wife.. just take itâ
He picked up the pace, his hips slapping against yours with wet smacks. The wax inside you began to melt slightly from the friction, creating a warm, sticky sensation that had you moaning uncontrollably. âAhh..ahh...ahhh!â
Your loud, desperate moans sent him over the edge. He slammed into you one last time, hitting your prostate dead on as he came hard inside you. âFUCK!â He groaned loudly, his cock pulsing as he filled you with his hot cum. âHUBBY!â You screamed as you cream his cock as well inside.
He stayed buried inside you, his heavy breathing gradually slowing as he nuzzled against your neck. The melted wax and his release dripped out of you messily, coating your inner thighs. After a moment, he pulled out slowly, watching as more fluid followed. âMmmâ
You looked down at the mess between your legs, then back up at him with confused eyes. âHow.. how are you cumming? You're a ghostâ He smirked mischievously, âGhost sex has its perks, wife. My spirit can still produce semen.â
âAnd trust me, it feels just as good as real cum would.â He chuckled softly, floating down to clean himself up with some tissues he got at the night stand. âPlus, being dead means I can fuck you for hours without getting tired.â
Your eyes widen, completely not understanding what happened just now, âcan I get pregnant..? BY A GHOST?!â
He raised an eyebrow at you, then shook his head with a soft laugh. âNo, Y/N. You canât get pregnant from ghost sex.â He explained, âMy spirit might produce semen, but it lacks the necessary components to impregnate anyone.â
âOh ok,â you sighed, relieved. His smirk turned into a full-blown grin as he went back up to top you, hovering between your legs. âSo basically, I can fill you up as much as I want, and thereâs zero risk of an actual baby.â He leaned down to kiss your neck and the night was long.
The morning light slipped through the old lace curtains, pooling soft gold across the floorboards. The air was warmer than usual â almost gentle, like the house itself didnât want to disturb you. You stirred under the sheets, your body still aching in ways you couldnât explain, every muscle sore but tingling with something that felt like longing.
This bed feels more like me, than the other bed. I love to be back.
Jun sat beside the bed, his elbow resting on the headboard, chin on his hand, smiling softly. âYouâre awake,â he murmured. His voice was as calm as ever, but there was something different in his gaze â something steady, quiet, almost resigned.
You groaned, trying to sit up. âRemind me to never let a ghost manhandle me again.â He laughed â that deep, melodic laugh that used to echo down the hallways when the house was still alive. âYou werenât complaining last night.â
âYeah, well,â you muttered, cheeks warming as you tried to swing your legs off the bed, âthat was before I realized ghosts apparently have stamina.â
Jun leaned forward, catching your wrist before you could stand. âCareful,â he said softly. âDonât move too fast. Youâre still sore.â You rolled your eyes. âI can handle it.â
âOf course you can,â he teased, standing and offering his hand anyway. âBut let me handle you for once.â You took his hand without thinking â it felt solid now, warm even. The thought almost made your chest ache. âSince when did you get so smug?â
He smiled faintly, leading you toward the kitchen. âSince I got my wife back.â You froze mid-step, and for a moment, your breath caught. He said it so casually, like it was the most ordinary truth in the world. But something in his tone â that faint tremor beneath the calm â made your heart twist.
âJun..â He only smiled again, brushing a stray strand of hair behind your ear. âBreakfast first. Heavy hearts need coffee.â
He made pancakes. You didnât even think ghosts could cook, but the smell of butter and sugar filled the air, and when you asked how he did it, Jun just shrugged. âYou said you missed the scent of home,â he said, flipping one perfectly golden. âSo I borrowed it from your memory.â You laughed. âThatâs creepy and romantic. I canât decide which.â âCanât it be both?â
The rest of the day passed in a strange sort of domestic bliss. You both cleaned the bedroom â or at least, you did, and Jun hovered around you, pretending to help but mostly teasing you. He brushed wax off your cheek, steadying you every time you leaned too close.
âDo you ever miss it?â you asked suddenly, when you caught him watching the sunlight through the window. He turned to you, smiling faintly. âMiss what?â âBeing alive.â For a heartbeat, his smile faltered. Then he said quietly, âNot anymore. Everything I ever wanted.. is standing right here.â
You stared at him â the soft glow in his eyes, the way his voice trembled like he was holding back something heavy. You didnât press. Instead, you reached out and brushed his hand â and this time, it felt entirely real.
Jun blinked, then smiled again, softer this time. âSee? Youâre getting stronger.â You frowned. âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â He didnât answer right away. Instead, he leaned forward, pressing a light kiss to your forehead â his lips almost warm now. âIt means youâll be okay,â he whispered. âEven when Iâm not here to make pancakes for you.â
You looked up sharply. âWhat are you talking about-â âNothing,â he interrupted, smiling again â that same too-gentle, too-final smile. âJust saying.. ghosts like me donât get forever. So promise me, if I ever fade awayâ He brushed your cheek with his thumb. ââŠdonât stop living.â
You didnât know why, but the air grew heavier around you. The sunlight dimmed. You forced a laugh. âYouâre being dramatic again.â
Jun chuckled softly, though his eyes were glistening in the light. âMaybe. But if being dramatic lets me stay in your memory, then Iâll take it.â
You stared at him for a long time, the ache in your chest tightening, and for a fleeting moment, you swore you could see through him â just a shimmer, like heat rising from pavement. But you blinked, and he was solid again. Smiling. Alive in his own way.
And so, you smiled back. âYouâll have to work harder than that to get rid of me.â He leaned in and kissed your lips. âI know,â he whispered. âThatâs what Iâm afraid of.â
â
The night came gentle, like the world itself didnât want to wake you. You sat on the veranda with Jun, a single candle flickering between you â its flame bending and swaying with the wind. The garden was quiet, the air thick with that faint sweetness of rose and memory.
Jun leaned back in his chair, watching you instead of the stars. You didnât notice at first how still heâd become. âI used to dream of this,â he said softly. âOf what?â âPeace.â He smiled faintly, eyes never leaving your face. âI thought Iâd forgotten what it felt like.â
You chuckled, sipping your tea. âYou sound like someone whoâs about to give a farewell speech.â âMaybe I am.â You frowned. âJun.â
He turned toward you, eyes reflecting the candlelight, gold and endless and unbearably sad. âYou remember everything now, donât you?â You blinked. âWhat do you mean?â âUs,â he whispered. âBefore this life. Before this house. Before the accident.â
The words hit you like a chill. The images â faint, half-remembered â started to surface. The rain. Screeching tires. The ring glinting against the pavement. Junâs voice calling your name, desperate, echoing. And then.. nothing.
Your throat tightened. âI- I saw flashes. I thought they were dreams.â He reached out, brushing your cheek with the back of his hand. His touch was lighter than before â fading. âThey were memories. The last ones we shared before everything ended.â
You shook your head, tears already welling. âEnded? No.. we found each other again, didnât we? You said you waited for me-â âI did,â Jun said, smiling. âEvery life I remembered, I searched for you. Sometimes I found you. Sometimes I didnât. But this time..â He paused, his voice breaking. âThis time, you came back to me.â
âThen why- why does it sound like youâre saying goodbye?â you asked, your voice trembling. âBecause I am.â You froze. âNo.â
He moved closer, cupping your face, thumbs tracing slow circles over your tears. His hands were almost see-through now â light bleeding through his fingers. âMy curse was to remember every life,â he said softly. âTo live them all until I learned to let go.â
âJun, stop-â
âBut yours,â he whispered, âwas to forget. To live free of the pain. To start again.â
â
The moment the words left his lips, something in your chest cracked open â a white flash of pain, too bright to bear. And then..
White walls. The soft hum of machines. A dull ache at the back of your head. You blinked your eyes open and found yourself lying on a hospital bed. Your throat was dry, your body heavy. The faint rhythm of a heart monitor keeps time with your shallow breathing.
âMingyu- sheâs awake!â You turned your head weakly. Three faces came into focus â Mingyu, Seokmin, and Minghao â all hovering near your bed, eyes wide with relief. Mingyu reached out, holding your hand tightly as if grounding you.
âHey,â he said softly, voice trembling. âYou scared us.â You looked at them, confused. âWhat.. happened?â Seokminâs smile faltered. âYou got into an accident. Youâve been out for a few days.â
You nodded slowly, your mind foggy. But as you looked at their faces â familiar yet oddly distant â you felt something off. Something hollow. âWas anyone else with me?â you asked after a moment.
They froze. Minghao looked down at the floor, his jaw tight. âNo,â he said finally. âYou were alone when they found you.â You frowned, trying to recall anything â a road, a sound, a name. But your head throbbed the harder you tried. There was nothing. Just blank space.
Days passed, and you went home, that doesnât even feel like home. You walked through your apartment, touching the furniture, tracing the edges of picture frames that held no faces. You caught your reflection in the mirror and felt the strangest ache, like someone else shouldâve been there beside you. Someone who wasnât.
Late one night, unable to sleep, you sat on your bed and whispered into the dark â not knowing why, or to whom. âMaybe itâs not about moving on,â you murmured, clutching your chest where that invisible ache lived, âbut trying to remember the memories Iâve already lost.â
A tear slipped down your cheek before you even realised you were crying. You didnât know what you were grieving â only that your heart was mourning something you couldnât recall.
â
You sobbed, shaking your head violently. âThen why- why bring me back here? Why make me remember?â âBecause you deserved to know you were loved,â Jun said, voice trembling. âEven after death. Even after forgetting. You were my heart in every lifetime, and I needed you to know that before I go.â
The candle flame flickered. His form wavered, the edges of him breaking apart like smoke. âNo,â you cried, clutching his shirt â your hands passing through him. âPlease, stay. Iâll remember you this time. I swear, Jun, I wonât forgetâ
He smiled faintly, leaning forward until his forehead touched yours. âYou will. You have to. Thatâs how you live.â He said. You sobbed. âThen what now? What happens to us? To youâ âYou live,â he said gently. âYou finish your book. You keep the house. You keep going.â
âAs for me.. Iâll keep waiting. Like I always do.â You shook your head violently. âNo. No, you canât. You deserve to move on.â âHow can I?â Jun whispered. âMy heaven was you. This is my fate.. I finally have the reason to cross the afterlife for this life, Y/N.â You felt the warmth of his breath one last time as he whispered,
âFind me again, in another life, my brideâ The candle went out.
Silence filled the house â that heavy, sacred kind of silence only grief can make.
You sat there long after, whispering his name into the darkness, your tears falling onto the wooden floor. When the morning light finally touched the veranda, there was no trace of him â just the faint scent of cedar and rose and the ghost of a handprint on your cheek.
And for a moment, as you looked toward the mirror inside the house, you swore you saw him smiling.
Then he was gone.
And on the bed beside you, the veil stirred gently â as if brushed by unseen hands. unheard voice.

SEVENTEENâs reaction to their partner going through a difficult time and struggling
Seungcheol had been noticing the signs for days the way your smile didnât quite reach your eyes, how your voice sounded thinner, how you stayed quiet even when he tried to tease you or make you laugh. He didnât push, but he watched you carefully, worry sitting heavy in his chest.
That night, he found you sitting on the edge of the bed, staring at nothing. Your shoulders slumped in a way that didnât look like sadness it looked like defeat. His heart sank immediately.
âBaby?â he called softly, stepping closer.
You didnât look at him, just whispered, âIâm done.â
His breath hitched. âDone with what?â
There was a long pause before you finally murmured, voice trembling, âWith everything. Iâm just so tired, Cheol⊠so tired.â
It wasnât direct, but it was enough. Too much. His stomach twisted; fear rushed through him so fast he had to sit beside you before his knees gave out. He cupped the back of your head and gently pulled you into his chest, holding you tight.
âHey⊠no. Donât say that,â he breathed against your hair, one hand rubbing slow circles down your back as your body began to shake. âPlease donât scare me like that. Youâre exhausted, not done. Youâre overwhelmed, not alone.â
You let out a broken sob and clung to him, fingers gripping his hoodie like you were afraid heâd disappear. Seungcheol tightened his arms around you, grounding you with every breath he took.
âIâm right here,â he whispered firmly. âYou donât have to pretend. You donât have to keep everything in. You can lean on me thatâs what Iâm here for.â He pulled back just enough to look into your eyes, his own glassy with emotion. âYou matter to me. More than you know. Iâm not letting you go. Weâll get through this together, okay?â
He kissed your forehead gently, over and over, until your breathing steadied a little. That night, he didnât leave your side for a single moment, keeping you pressed against his chest like he needed to feel every heartbeat to believe you were still there.
JEONGHAN
Jeonghan had always known you were struggling long before you admitted it. He noticed the way your smile faded quicker, the way your replies became shorter, the way your eyes seemed to look through things instead of at them. But Jeonghan was patient; he never pressed you, never cornered you, never demanded explanations. He simply stayed close sitting beside you during quiet days, teasing you just enough to lighten your mood, checking in with gentle questions disguised as casual conversation.
So when you walked into the practice room one evening, shoulders trembling, face streaked with tears you couldnât hide, Jeonghanâs heart nearly dropped out of his chest. He approached you without hesitation, hands lifting to cup your cheeks as he whispered, âOh, sweetheart⊠what happened?â The moment he touched you, your last shred of composure collapsed. You clung to him, sobbing uncontrollably into his chest. Jeonghan wrapped you in his arms, swaying slightly, his hand sliding up and down your back in soothing strokes.
Muffled against his shirt, you confessed the truth: âI donât want to live anymore.â His breath stopped. A soft, broken sound escaped him, the kind you make when youâre holding back your own tears. Jeonghan pulled away just enough to look into your eyes, his own glistening. âY/N⊠no. No, please donât think that. Please donât say that.â His voice was trembling, fragile in a way he never allowed it to be. âYouâre not too much. Youâre not hard to love. Youâre not alone. Youâre tired. Youâre hurting. And Iâm so sorry you felt you had to carry it alone.â He wiped your tears with gentle fingertips, whispering reassurance into your hair. âLean on me. Break in front of me. Cry, scream, collapse Iâll hold you every time. Youâre here, and I need you here. Weâll get help together. Youâre not going anywhere.â
JOSHUA
You had always felt safe with Joshua his calm voice, his soft manners, the way he listened like every word you spoke held weight. But tonight, when you texted him âCan you meet me? PleaseâŠâ he sensed something different. He rushed to the park you told him about, scanning the empty benches until he found you sitting alone, hugging your knees under the dim yellow glow of a streetlamp. The sight of you broke him instantly. He approached slowly, kneeling in front of you so he could meet your eyes, his hands lightly touching your knees. âHey⊠Iâm here. What happened?â he asked gently, his voice so soft it felt like a blanket.
But the moment you tried to answer, your throat closed up. Tears streamed down your cheeks, your breath stuttering in painful, uneven gasps. Joshua took your hands without hesitation, bringing them to his chest to warm them. âItâs okay. Iâm not going anywhere,â he whispered. And then, quieter than a breath, you said it: âI donât want to live anymore.â Joshua froze. His eyes widened for a second before they softened completely, filling with tears he couldnât blink away.
He pulled you into his arms, holding you so securely that your shaking body finally found something steady to cling to. âOh, Y/NâŠâ His voice cracked on your name. âIâm so sorry. Iâm so, so sorry youâve been feeling like this.â He stroked your hair with slow, deliberate tenderness. âYouâre not weak. Youâre not a burden. Youâre just hurting. And I want to help you through this not from far away, but right beside you.â You sobbed harder against him, and he tucked his face into your shoulder, letting a quiet tear slip down his cheek. âPlease stay. Please stay with me. Weâll get through this together. You donât have to survive this alone.â And for the rest of the night, Joshua kept you wrapped in his arms, grounding you with every breath he took.
JUN
Jun had always noticed subtle things about you the way your shoulders tensed when you thought no one was looking, the slight tremor in your hands when you held a cup, the quiet sighs that escaped you when the day got too heavy. He didnât comment because he wanted to earn your trust, not push you away, but he felt it deep in his chest: you were carrying more than anyone should. That night, when he returned from practice and found you huddled on the living room floor, knees pressed to your chest and face buried in your arms, he felt a panic that made his heart thud painfully. He knelt beside you, unsure what to do at first, then slowly lifted one trembling hand to brush a loose strand of hair behind your ear. âHey⊠itâs okay. Iâm right here,â he whispered.
Your gaze flicked to him, wide and unsteady, and your voice cracked when you finally spoke, âI⊠I donât want to live anymoreâŠâ Those words pierced him like a knife. He immediately scooped you into his arms, letting your small frame collapse against him, holding you as if letting go would mean losing you forever. âNo⊠no, youâre not saying that. Not to me, not to anyone,â he murmured, rocking you gently, his hand rubbing circles into your back. He could feel your trembling against him, hear your uneven breathing, and he hated that you had suffered in silence for so long.
Jun pressed his forehead to yours, voice breaking slightly, âYou are tired, I know. Youâve been holding everything inside for so long. But you donât have to do this alone anymore. Iâm here, Iâm not going anywhere. Iâll fight this with you, step by step, breath by breath.â He held you tighter when your sobs shook you violently, whispering reassurance into your hair. âYou are loved. You are precious. You are not a burden. And I promise, I will never let you feel alone again.â Hours passed, and Jun remained there, holding you through every tear, every shiver, every small gasp for air, letting you know through every heartbeat, every touch, that you had a lifeline, and he would never let go.
HOSHI
Hoshi had always been the energetic one, the spark that lifted everyoneâs mood, but when he saw you like this, all of that energy drained instantly. He found you on the bedroom floor, curled up, knees hugged to your chest, shaking with silent sobs. The sight of you broke him, a knot tightening in his chest, a raw ache he couldnât ignore. He knelt slowly beside you, careful not to startle you, and placed a hand gently on your back. âHey⊠whatâs wrong? Please, talk to me,â he said, voice softer than usual, almost trembling under the weight of his worry.
When you finally whispered the words, almost too quiet for him to hear, âI donât want to live anymore,â he felt the world tilt under him. Panic surged through his veins, but he swallowed it down, focusing all his energy on you. He wrapped you in his arms immediately, pulling you close so tightly that you could feel the pounding of his heart against your own. âNo, no, no⊠thatâs not real. Thatâs not true. Youâre not alone. Youâre not going anywhere,â he murmured repeatedly, his voice breaking slightly as he fought to stay steady for you.
Hoshi rested his chin on your shoulder, letting you cry as long as you needed, whispering over and over, âIâm here. Youâre safe. I wonât let anything happen to you.â He rubbed your back in slow, rhythmic circles, feeling every shiver, every sob, every tremble. âYouâre too important, too alive, too loved. I will not let you disappear. Weâll get through this together. One step at a time. Breath by breath. I promise, okay?â His voice was raw with emotion, filled with desperate love, enveloping you like a shield, letting you know without doubt that you were not facing your darkness alone.
WONWOO
Wonwoo had always been calm, composed, the quiet observer who noticed everything, but tonight his usual calm was strained under the weight of fear. He had sensed something wrong in your messages for weeks, felt it in your energy during moments when you didnât think anyone was watching. Now, seeing you tear-streaked, trembling, sitting on the edge of the bench in the park under the dim glow of a streetlamp, he felt panic rise inside him. He knelt in front of you, taking your hands gently in his own, searching your eyes for answers. âTalk to me⊠whatâs wrong?â His voice was steady, but you could hear the worry lurking beneath, the crack in his calmness that he tried to hide.
Your voice shook as you barely whispered, âI⊠donât want to live anymore.â Wonwoo froze, the words echoing inside him like thunder. Then, instinctively, he pulled you close, wrapping you in a seated hug, one arm around your shoulders, the other hand cradling your face. âShh⊠no. Donât say that. Youâre not going anywhere,â he murmured, forehead pressed to yours. He stayed like that, letting you cry into him, stroking your hair with deliberate tenderness, whispering, âIâm here. Youâre not alone. You donât have to face this alone anymore.â
Wonwooâs gaze never left yours, grounding you, keeping you anchored in reality when the darkness felt suffocating. âI donât care what it takes. Weâll get help. Weâll fight this together. Iâm not leaving you. I promise,â he said, voice soft but full of unshakable resolve. He stayed with you until the trembling in your hands slowed, until the tears came less violently, until your breathing returned to a fragile rhythm. And even when you fell asleep against him, Wonwoo stayed, holding you, a silent sentinel ensuring that you finally felt safe.
WOOZI
Wooziâs first reaction was panic, even though he tried to suppress it. He was usually the composed one, the planner, the person who kept control, but seeing you fall apart in front of him shook him to the core. He found you sitting on the couch, trembling, hands covering your face, and his chest ached with a mixture of fear and guilt. Without thinking, he kneeled in front of you, gently lifting your hands to look into your eyes. âWhat⊠whatâs going on? Talk to me,â he said, voice trembling for the first time in a way you had never heard.
When you whispered the words, âI donât want to live anymore,â Woozi felt his stomach drop. He wrapped you in his arms immediately, letting you collapse against him, your sobs breaking through his heart. âNo⊠no, thatâs not true. Youâre not saying that. Youâre not going anywhere. Hear me?â His voice cracked, raw and vulnerable, and he hid none of it. He stroked your hair, rocking you gently, whispering reassurance over and over. âYouâre not alone anymore. Iâm here. Youâre safe with me. You donât have to carry this alone. Ever.â
Wooziâs own eyes glistened with tears, but he stayed strong, steadying you with every motion, every word, every heartbeat. âYouâre too important. Too loved. Too strong. I wonât let you face this darkness alone. Not tonight. Not ever.â He held you through every tremor, every sob, every shaky breath, making sure that in his arms, you finally felt something you hadnât in a long time: safety, warmth, and a connection that reminded you that you were not, and would never be, alone.
DOKYEOM
Dokyeom had always been the bright, cheerful presence, the kind of person whose laughter could fill a room and make heavy days feel lighter. But the moment he saw you that night, curled up on the floor of your room, shoulders shaking and face buried in your arms, his usual warmth faltered. He felt a rush of panic and helplessness, something he rarely allowed himself to feel. He immediately knelt beside you, carefully tilting your chin up with trembling fingers to look into your eyes. âHey⊠please talk to me. Youâre scaring me,â he whispered, voice thick with worry.
Your voice cracked as you spoke the words you had been holding in for far too long: âI⊠I donât want to live anymoreâŠâ Those words hit him like a punch to the chest, and for a moment he felt the world shrink around him. Without thinking, he pulled you into his arms, letting your trembling body collapse against his chest. âNo⊠no, thatâs not true. Youâre not going anywhere, okay? Not now, not ever,â he murmured, rocking you gently. Every sob, every tremor, every uneven breath you released made his heart ache, and he wished more than anything he could take the pain from you.
He held you as if the world itself depended on it, pressing gentle kisses to your hair and forehead, whispering your name over and over like a lifeline. âYouâre not a burden. Youâre not weak. Youâre loved. So loved. I promise, Iâm here, and Iâm not going anywhere. Weâll get through this together. You donât have to be alone anymore.â Hours passed, and Dokyeom never let go. He let you cry, he let you tremble, he let you exist in your pain while holding you as tightly and safely as he could, making sure that you finally felt seen, valued, and loved.
MINGYU
Mingyu had always noticed things that others didnât. He noticed how your smiles had grown smaller over time, how your laughter had lost its spark, how your energy slowly dimmed in ways only he seemed to recognize. That night, when he found you sitting on the balcony steps, knees drawn up and tears streaming freely, his chest tightened. He immediately crouched beside you, one hand resting lightly on your shoulder, the other on your knee, unsure how to reach across the weight you were carrying. âHey⊠youâre scaring me,â he whispered softly, voice low and trembling with urgency.
When you finally choked out the words, âI donât want to live anymoreâŠâ Mingyu felt the floor fall beneath him. He wrapped you into a tight embrace immediately, cradling your head against his chest as if he could shield you from the pain just by holding you. âNo. No. Thatâs not true. Thatâs not real. Youâre not alone. Youâre not going anywhere,â he murmured, over and over, voice breaking slightly. He felt tears prickling his own eyes as he rubbed your back, pressing gentle but firm reassurances into your trembling body.
Mingyu held you there for what felt like hours, rocking you slowly, whispering words that he hoped could anchor you back to the world. âYouâre too important, too precious. You are loved beyond measure, and I am not letting you go. You donât have to carry this pain alone anymore. Weâll face it together, okay?â He stayed there through every sob, every shiver, every small gasp of fear, letting his presence remind you, without doubt, that you were not invisible, not alone, and not unloved.
MINGHAO
Minghao was usually calm, precise, and measured, but when he saw you like this, all of his composure threatened to crumble. He had sensed the subtle cracks in your façade over the past few weeks, the small changes in your posture, the delayed responses, the quiet sighs he almost missed. But seeing you now knees drawn to your chest, shaking, face wet with tears he felt something inside him break. He immediately knelt before you, gently lifting your hands and holding them in his own, searching your eyes for answers. âTalk to me⊠please. You donât have to hide anything from me,â he said softly, voice barely above a whisper but heavy with concern.
When you murmured, almost inaudibly, âI donât want to live anymore,â Minghao felt the world tilt, a strange combination of fear, sorrow, and determination flooding through him. Without hesitation, he pulled you into a tight embrace, resting his chin on your shoulder and letting you cry against him. âShh⊠itâs okay. Youâre safe. Youâre not going anywhere,â he whispered, voice trembling slightly despite his usual calm. He stroked your hair, rubbed your back, and let the warmth of his body be a shield against the darkness that threatened to engulf you.
He whispered over and over, letting each word anchor you: âYouâre not a burden. Youâre loved more than you can imagine. I will not let you face this alone. Weâll find a way through it, together. Step by step, breath by breath, I will stay with you.â Minghao stayed like that for hours, letting your tears fall, letting your body tremble, letting your cries release all the weight youâd been holding in. In his arms, you felt a fragile sense of safety, a connection that reminded you that someone would always fight to keep you here, to keep you breathing, to keep you alive.
SEUNGKWAN
Seungkwan had always been sensitive to shifts in peopleâs energy especially yours. He could read your mood from the way you breathed, the way you blinked, the way your shoulders sat when you thought no one was looking. Lately, heâd noticed the spark in you dimming, little by little: shorter replies, quieter laughs, longer silences. He told himself not to overthink it, but tonight his instincts screamed at him the moment he walked into the room and saw you sitting on the edge of the bed, staring at the floor like the world had stopped moving for you.
He approached slowly, almost afraid of what he might hear. âHey⊠you okay? Talk to me,â he said gently, sitting beside you but not touching you until you let him.
You didnât look up. Your voice was hollow, shaking.
âIâm done, Seungkwan⊠Iâm just⊠done with everything.â
The words werenât loud, but they hit him like a punch to the gut. His breath hitched just barely but you felt it. He turned instantly, cupping your face with both hands, forcing your gaze to meet his. His eyes were already glistening.
âDone with what? Done how? Talk to me, please,â he pleaded, voice trembling, raw.
When the tears started falling down your cheeks, he didnât let you look away. He pulled you into his arms, hugging you so tightly it felt like he was trying to hold the pieces of you together with his own body. His hand pressed against the back of your head, steady and grounding.
âIâm not letting you go through this alone,â he whispered into your hair, his own voice cracking. âYou hear me? Iâm here. Iâll stay as long as it takes. Cry, talk, scream whatever you need. Iâm not going anywhere.â
He let you sob into his shirt, let your shaking body melt into his chest. He rubbed your back in slow circles, kissing the top of your head every so often, whispering affirmations through each tremble.
âYouâre overwhelmed, not defeated. And youâre not facing any of this without me again. Iâm not letting you drown in this by yourself.â
And for the first time in weeks, you felt like someone truly saw you.
VERNON
Vernon had this quiet way of observing you, catching details other people didnât think mattered. He knew the exact rhythm of your voice, the normal pace of your steps, the usual softness in your eyes. When that rhythm started breaking slower steps, blank eyes, delayed reactions he noticed. He didnât push you, didnât interrogate you, but he stayed close, watching, waiting, trying to give you space without truly leaving you alone.
Tonight, you were sitting on the floor beside the coffee table, arms wrapped around your knees, staring into nothing. Vernon approached, sitting on the floor next to you, knees touching but not saying a word. You didnât speak either not until you exhaled shakily and whispered:
âI just want to end it all. I donât have anything left.â
He froze. It was subtle, but his whole body tensed. He turned his head slowly, studying your face, looking for any sign of what you truly meant. His heart began to pound in his chest, not with panic but with a deep, aching fear.
He shifted closer, carefully taking your hand in his, his fingers trembling more than yours.
âWhat do you mean?â he asked softly, voice low but steady. âLike⊠you want a break? Or like youâre giving up?â
The silence that followed terrified him.
He swallowed hard, reaching out to gently pull you into his arms. He tucked your head beneath his chin, hand sliding up to the back of your neck.
âHey⊠hey. Iâm right here. Please donât shut me out,â he whispered. âYou donât have to pretend youâre fine. You donât have to carry everything alone. Iâm not judging you. Iâm not leaving you. Just talk to me.â
Your breathing broke, your fingers clutching desperately at his hoodie, and he held you tighter tighter than he ever had.
âI know youâre exhausted. I know life feels heavy. But I promise you⊠youâre not facing this shit alone. Iâm with you. Every step. Iâm not letting you fall.â
He stayed like that for hours, grounding you with quiet hums, warm hands, and soft, constant presence exactly what you needed.
DINO
Dino had always looked at you like you were someone he could protect, someone he cherished more deeply than he knew how to express. He wasnât always the best with words, but he felt everything intensely. And lately, he had felt you slipping not away from him, but away from yourself. You were quieter, more distant, lost in thought even when he held your hand.
Tonight, when he found you in the practice room sitting on the floor, head in your hands, trying to hide the fact that you were crying his heart nearly stopped. He walked toward you slowly, kneeling in front of you, his hands hovering as if afraid to touch you without permission.
âBaby? Look at me,â he whispered.
When you finally looked up, eyes red and tired, the sight carved a deep ache into his chest. You inhaled shakily and said:
âIâm just⊠done with all of this. I canât do it anymore.â
The words were soft, but they terrified him. He didnât hear exhaustion â he heard defeat. Something inside him snapped, and he immediately pulled you into his arms, wrapping you tightly against his chest.
You could feel his breath shaking against your shoulder.
âDonât say it like that,â he murmured, voice barely holding together. âYouâre tired. Youâre overwhelmed. But donât say youâre done. Not like that. Not to me.â
He held the back of your head, guiding your face into his neck as you cried. His other arm wrapped around your waist protectively, almost desperately.
âIâm here. Iâm right here. Youâre not alone. You donât have to be strong right now. You can cry, fall apart, whatever you need Iâll hold you together until youâre okay again.â
Your body trembled harder, and he hugged you even tighter, whispering repeatedly,
âIâve got you. Iâve got you. Iâve got you.â
In that moment, he wasnât the maknae he was someone who loved you fiercely, someone who refused to let you slip away into your pain.

Most people walked through life, but Junhui, he danced. Even before he had met you, he danced. He was a beautiful boy, and doors opened before him in the world of film and acting. But all that changed when he met you.Â
When he turned 13 he was frantically searching for his mark, but he never found anything. His parents told him it could be a while, but right as he was about to break down he heard you, an echo of a voice inside his head that wasnât his own.Â
He didnât understand what exactly you were saying, but he understood the meaning behind your words, the comfort you were trying to show his panicked heart.Â
That day he decided he needed to change the trajectory of his life, he needed something other than just acting if he was gonna find you, if you were going to be able to find him.Â
It took a few years, but he ended up in Seoul under Pledis, surrounded by new people and a language he couldnât quite speak, and on the days where he felt alone and discouraged you were there to ease his mind and cheer him on.Â
As the year had progressed the two of you had learned a few new languages to communicate with one another, but typically you spoke Korean to one another. It was good practice for the both of you, and despite korean being difficult to pronounce for you, it was easier than mandarin.
You could still vividly remember the day a male voice spoke mandarin in your mind, it was panicked and desperate. Sad and heartbreaking. Despite not understanding a single thing you tried reaching out in your mind for that little spot that had suddenly appeared in your inner eye.Â
He hadnât done it on purpose you quickly realized, it had been the bond that had reached out instinctively.Â
âYouâre okay, just breathe⊠Iâm right here, Iâm not going anywhereâ You kept repeating the words over and over again until he seemed to calm, until he seemed to hear you.Â
Unlike Junhui you had always been a very vocal and extroverted person, always the loudest one in the room, the one who stole the attention of everyone without even trying, but after him, after the mark manifested, you drew into yourself, wanting to spend your time with him, getting to know him and his soul.Â
It was difficult at first, not being able to really communicate, but at some point a few words started to make sense and as the communication became better, and your love for him grew.Â
He told you about his move to Korea, his dance, his brothers, the struggles of his every day that looked so different from your own.Â
The mark made it impossible to learn specific details about one another, every time he tried telling you where he was going for his tours, his voice would be muffled. Just as every time you would try and tell him about your university, yours would as good as disappear from his head.Â
It made it hard, but you both knew people had it harder than the two of you did. You at least had your love singing you to sleep every night.Â
Junhui was sitting in the beauty room before a shoot. Next to him was Soonyoung, and in his lap sat none other than his sweet soulmate that they had all nicknamed âPinkâ due to the famous hair that had brought the pair together.Â
She ran her hands through his hair as she styled it.Â
âDo you really need to rub it in?â Dino said with a somewhat low voice.Â
âObviouslyâ Pink said before squeezing Soonyoung's cheeks together and kissing his lips sweetly. He chuckled in response, looking just as the hamster he claimed he wasn't.Â
Jun explained the situation to you through that little link he had in his mind.Â
Tell them theyâre disgusting. You quickly commented with a laugh.Â
As he repeated the words, Pink clutched her imaginary pearls, before jumping down from Soonyoung's lap, earning her a whine from this very grown man.Â
âDonât worry Jun, Iâll make you pretty for her, in hopes that sheâs watching alongâÂ
He laughed. You had not found him yet, and he doubted that a performance unit song would be what did the trick. But he could always hope.Â
They hadnât expected carats to go as feral for the music video as they did. But apparently a little bling and smooth moves would be all it took.Â
And they did look good, ethereal almost.Â
Jun couldnât help but hope that this would mean you found him, after all that was the reason behind becoming an idol.Â
âI hope you see itâ He said in his mind as he reached out.
You knew he did something within the music industry, but you couldnât even imagine the scale it was actually on. How famous your soulmate was, how beautiful.Â
Once in a while you stumbled upon Seventeen music videos, but you never clicked on them. There were too many views, and for some reason you had imagined him being from a smaller, more unknown group.Â
If you were being completely honest you did think that the music was kind of a side gig. A passion that made life bearable. A hobby.Â
It wasnât until your friend actually forced you to sit down and watch the newly dropped music video for âSpellâ that you realized exactly who he was.Â
âYou have to watch it!â She said as she gently stroked the clock that was counting down on her arm.Â
You rolled your eyes with a smirk on your lips. âItâs not gonna be himâÂ
She shrugged. âYou donât know that! Iâm staying in my delusional era, convinced that Minghao has a clock somewhere on that beautiful body of hisâÂ
You pulled her close to you on the couch. âFine, Iâll watch itâÂ
A small shriek escaped her throat. You could humor her.Â
Exactly two seconds after the music video had started your heart stopped. Because you knew that voice, and on screen was the most beautiful human being you had ever seen.Â
The brown curls framing his head, the eyes so soft and kind were looking into your soul. It was him, there was no doubt in your mind.Â
The whole scenario was overwhelming, you knew the song, he had been humming it for months, singing it to you at night.Â
âThis makes no senseâ you said slowly as tears welled in your eyes.Â
Your bestie had her arms around you in a second, pulling you close as you sobbed into her chest. You didnât know why, but this wasnât happy tears, no. You were devastated.Â
There was no way in hell a man like that, a man like him would be okay, that he would be happy with someone like you.
He didnât know what he had done wrong. But he had to have done something. You had been quiet now for around 3 days, and it was the longest time since he had found you, that he had gone without hearing your voice.Â
The remaining of the guys had all picked up on it. He was agitated, annoyed and snapped over the smallest mistakes.Â
He was currently located in one of the small kitchens in the Hybe building, filling up on water in between breaks of practicing the choreo for the upcoming tour.Â
Minghao was leaned up against the fridge, arms crossed in front of his chest as he looked at his best friend. Â
âYou need to tell me what the hell is going onâ as usual when something was bothering either of them, they spoke mandarin. It gave them a sense of privacy even when there were people around.Â
Junhui sighed as he looked down at his feet. âShe doesnât speak to me anymoreâŠâ it was almost just a whisper, but the hurt, the broken heart that was lying beneath that surface of his was evident.Â
Minghao pulled him close, and for once he allowed himself to be comforted. He hid his face in his friend's shoulder as he let the silent tears fall.Â
âDid you do anything?â He asked as he pulled away to look at his friend.Â
Jun just shook his head as he dried his eyes. âNo, at least I donât think so. Iâve been ragging my brain over and over to find out what could make her pull away. But honestly? The only thing I can think is that she found me⊠and that sheâs disappointed itâs me and not someone elseâÂ
His voice shook, and he burried his head in his hands, hoping the tears would stop falling if he just squeezed the palms of his hands into his eyes hard enough. It didnât help.Â
âI donât get it, I thought she loved me⊠I thought she was supposed to accept me for me, and not judge me for itâÂ
He felt a hand on his shoulder, one that didnât belong to Minghao, but to Chan. And as he turned there stood the remaining 11 of his brothers.Â
The youngest pulled him close and as he cried again, they all rallied around him.
Like the first time you had heard him, he hadnât meant to let you in. But it did happen from time to time, if their emotions were out of control. And what he had said, had broken your heart.Â
You were convinced it would be for the best, that he wouldnât love someone as normal as you, someone as boring. You were convinced he deserved better.Â
But hearing him break, hearing his sobs knowing you were the reason for them. Broke you even more than the potential heartbreak of him not wanting you.Â
The days following his breakdown he had stopped trying to reach out, and it almost felt like he had given up. You had scoured the internet to find any kind of update, to see what he was doing, if he was okay.Â
Dino had done a live with Minghao, begging Carats to send Jun all their love because he was struggling.Â
This wasnât what was supposed to happen, he was supposed to be relieved, supposed to be happy that he, as a world famous artist, didnât have to settle for someone as ordinary as you.Â
But you were slowly learning that you had made a mistake. Because Seventeen was despite being world famous, global superstars, kind people.Â
You had watched every going seventeen episode, seen every music video and over all catches up on everything.Â
It was funny seeing everything after the fact. You had heard story about his friends going crazy when they played games, and Hoshi and Mingyu especially fit that bill in the âDonât Lieâ episodes.Â
He was quiet, more quiet in these settings than he usually was with you. But then you noticed it, hidden smiles and small laughs, it was because when he was with them, he talked to you as well.Â
Always updating you on their shenanigans, filling you in on the new games they made along the way or retelling the jokes he knew you would find funny.Â
You had fucked up. Severely. Now all that was left to do was trying to fix it.
As the days went by you started to reach out to him. But he wasnât quite ready to talk yet. He could feel the sorrow in your voice, in the emotions that ran through his mind as you said good morning and good night to him every day.Â
You never pushed him, and he appreciated that. He wanted to hear your explanation, as to why you had chosen to cut him out, but he was scared, so scared that the explanation would be a confirmation of all his worst fears.Â
âAre you sure youâre okay?â Joshua said as he laid a hand on his shoulder.Â
He sent a tight lipped smile his way. âYeah, letâs just get through the dayâÂ
âAre you still not sleeping?â Minghao said as he looked up from his phone.Â
Jun shook his head and sent a sad smile his way, his friends sighed in unison as Seungkwan entered the room.Â
âYou need to look after yourself hyungâÂ
âMaybe you need to talk to herâ Joshua pushed.Â
Jun only played with his long fingers as he released something in between a huff and a laugh. âI know, but what if all she wants is to cut the tie between us?âÂ
They would never quite get used to seeing their brother cry, and this past week theyâd seen it more than they had in the last few years.Â
It was his anxiety talking, he knew that, and so did they. But it was hard talking him down the edge when they had no chance of communicating with you, to actually hear your side.Â
Seungcheol looked into the room, and all he got was a small shake of the head in return from the boys. âWeâre going on in 5, game face on JunâÂ
He took a deep breath and stood from his chair.
Your leg was bouncing up and down, fingers pulling on one another as you simultaneously chewed on your bottom lip.Â
Something inside of you couldnât quite figure out how this had happened, how you had made it happen on such short notice. But here you were sitting in a hall filled with carats, waiting for your soulmates and his brothers fansign.Â
They entered the stage and you literally felt your heart stop in anticipation. And there he was, and if handnât been because of the lack of oxygen youâre pretty sure you wouldâve flown from your seat and into his arms before security would even have a chance to notice.Â
Heâs beautiful, heâs so so beautifulâŠ
He heard your words eccho in his head and for the first time in a week he smiled genuinely all while his cheeks were painted in a subtle blush beneath the make up.Â
You better be talking about me and not someone else. He quickly responded. It was a pure instinct, needing to know that you still loved him, that the silence hadnât been because of a lack of love for him.Â
He heard your chuckle in his head. Itâs most definitely you Wen Junhui.
You watched him on the stage, hand quickly flying from his side to cover his mouth. You watched as his eyes sparkled. He turned away from the crowd and made these small almost awkward movements, as if he almost wanted to run away but couldnât.Â
Minghao looked his way with furrowed brows, but when he saw his friends smile, he knew that all the anxiety had just been whisked away from his body. And the remaining 12 of them quickly found that the burden they had been carrying was lifted.
âHiâ Minghao said as you sat before him on the long table. He pulled the album you had in front of him closer to sign it. It felt surreal sitting here in front of the people you knew so much about, the people who knew so much about you, but somehow had never met.Â
âI feel like I owe you an apologyâ you said with a small voice in mandarin. The mans eyes lit up as he chuckled.Â
âWhy would you owe me an apology?â He asked with curious eyes and a smirk.Â
You sighed. âBecause Iâm guessing youâve had a rough week because of me. I didnât⊠I didnât mean to hurt him. It was just when I found out who he was, I suddenly felt like I was lacking in every aspectâÂ
You looked towards Junhui as you talked, and shrugged as you ended the sentence.Â
âOhâŠâ you looked up at the beauty that sat there, looking at you with tears in his eyes. He left the album behind and reached out over the table, grabbing your hands in his, giving them a squeeze.Â
âHe was afraid that you were disappointed, that you had hoped he was someone elseâÂ
You quickly looked back to Minghao with big eyes. âWhat?! How the hell would he think that?âÂ
This time it was Minghao's turn to shrug. âI donât know, but now our time is up, so go get your manâÂ
He sat up in his chair, leaned over the table and kissed your forehead. âIâll talk to you afterâÂ
You heard the gasps, the murmuring that had started in the room. Minghao was known for not playing along with carats parasocial relationships, he was known for always giving people a wake up call. So you could understand the shock of suddenly seeing him kiss a carat at a fan sign.Â
You also knew your bestie would end up killing you for not bringing her along for this.Â
Before you knew it you were in front of him. He didnât look up from the album right away, he just introduced himself, and when his eyes finally met yours, all he saw was you sitting there with an open mouth, trying to get the words out.Â
He blushed, he actually blushed when he looked at you, and in your mind you heard a small; wow.Â
You took a deep breath and then you blurted it all out. âIâm so sorry⊠Iâm so sorry I made you doubt yourself, doubt me, doubt us. It was never my intention. I just, I finally found you and every bad thing I have ever thought about myself was suddenly under a magnifying glass. I felt so ordinary, so plain, so incredibly boring next to you, your lifeâŠâÂ
He hadnât taken a single breath since you had started taking. He knew your voice as well as he knew his own. And before he knew it, before you even blinked he had thrown himself over the table and pulled you close.Â
âYouâre hereâ he whispered into your hair, loving the smell of your hair, your skin and your perfume.Â
âIâm hereâ you whispered back as your hands pulled him as close as physically possible despite the table.Â
He pulled away and ran a hand over your cheek, catching your tears with his thumb. He rested his forehead against yours as he laughed, a laugh that you returned. It was one of disbelief and pure joy.Â
You heard all the people move around you, heard as people were ushered out of the room to give the two of you some type of privacy. The fansign would continue when everyone had a chance to calm down.Â
He stood up and walked around the table. âI canât believe youâre here, that you actually found me, that you got in here so quicklyâ He pulled you into his chest and rested his cheek on the top of your head.Â
You could hear his frantically beating heart beneath his chest, god you could feel his chest, every muscle. Beneath your skin.Â
I swear you were hand sculptured by all the gods that have ever existed.Â
You said through the link in your mind. He laughed. Loud and genuine.Â
Youâre so beautiful my love. That you were ever in doubt about being good enough for me⊠Iâm sorry I didnât tell you I loved you more often, that I didnât tell you more often just how proud I am of you. That I didnât manage to make you feel safe with me. I promise I will spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to you.Â
He pulled you close with one of his hands on the back of your neck, the other on your cheek. He caressed your nose against his, looking for any type of doubt in your eyes. But he found none. Instead you closed the distance and kissed him.Â
The room broke out in whistles and cheers, loud and chaotic. Just as you had always imagined they would be.Â
The two of you smiled, before looking towards those he called his brothers.Â
They were all over you in a second. Introducing themselves, bickering with one another about who should have the privilege of meeting you first. And Jun, he never let go of you, his fingers stayed intertwined with yours. Just as they were meant to be.

ohh please do thoughts on creampie breeding kink junâŠ
a/n: bestie, you're in my head bc Jun lives there rent-free with 19 others- also, this sounded like a request for hcs, so let's go!
warning: mdni, 18+, lowkey service top! Jun, dirty talk, teasing, praise, unprotected, established relationship, a little dumbification, multiple orgasms, creampie, Jun big, Jun down bad, you down bad, etc.
[BE VERY AWARE, SMUT BELOW THE 'KEEP READING' TAG]
Jun is a provider; his love language is acts of service, so he definitely is the type to get turned on by the idea of breeding you and truly marking you as his.
He'd prefer to give you a few orgasms before even giving you his cock. Again, acts of service, but also, he genuinely enjoys the way you get wet for him when he plays with you. It's something he probably would tease you about. "Mmm, I think you want this more than me. Do you get lonely when I am away at work, hmm?"
He is the type to talk you through it. He's playful, a mix of praise and teasing, which he says with a smirk. He enjoys the way your face flushes, and the way you're coating his cock with a new layer of slick just from his words.
He's also the type that watches the way his cock stretches you open nice and slow. Watching the way your pretty pussy swallows him up eagerly, the more he talks you through it. "Yeah, you've been wanting this, haven't you? Always so wet for me, I don't think you want me to leave, Baby."
He's not rough or hard, but actually something much worse. He's deliberate. Rolls his hips in firm, slow strokes that make you feel every inch, feel every throbbing vein on his cock pulsing along your gummy walls until the tip of his cock is hitting the back of your soft cunt.
His tip swabs along your cervix like he's writing out promises to you. Promises to make you forget your name, promises to make you feel him days later, and the stretch on the back of your thighs scream in agreement as he puts his weight into it.
His lips get looser the longer your pretty pussy is wrapped around him. His eyes are drooping, darkening as the sounds of your drooling cunt get louder with each passing second. "Yeah, that's it- tell me how good you feel."
He enjoys the way your mouth parts, little cute noises slipping past them because he's reaching deeper with each stroke.
He enjoys the way your body responds to him, your hips squirming until he's pushing your knees up to your chest, and forcing your starry eyes to focus on him. "No, don't run away from me, I know you can take it. Want you to take it all."
His stamina is actually insane! He's not satisfied with just one thing. It's why he played with you for so long before giving you his cock. So now, when your eyes are crossing lewdly, and you're clamping around him, trying to milk his first orgasm out of him, he can only laugh. "We have all night, my love, there's no rush." He plans to give you everything until you're a mess, dripping with his cum.
This man loves validation! His love language is acts of service, so when you give him praise, a shiver literally runs down his spine. He's asking, "Does that feel good?" "Can you feel me deep inside you, my love?" "Tell me who's got you feeling this good." He thinks the way your tongue is glued to the roof of your mouth, you won't respond, but when you do, his ears burn red.
You're babbling that it's him, him, him, that's making you feel so good, and you even got drool forming at the corner of your mouth while doing so.
Each praise you give has his dick twitching, hips stuttering, while his ears turn pink under the validation. His thrusts get sloppy, meaner as you give him praise, desperate to hear more while you're holding onto him for mercy.
He also coos when you cum on his cock with a wail shortly after. Your knees are to your chest, ankles over his shoulders, and he's fucking you through it with deep grinds, swirling the globular head of his cock against your cervix while telling you he's going to fill you up with a lovesick grin.
And that's what sends him over the edge. Overstuffing your cunt with his gooey seed until it seeps out is enough to make his head fall back with a deep groan. His balls tense, and the tip of his cock throbs as he does just that, spilling rope after rope of his cum deep inside.
He has you trapped underneath him, feeling every wad of cum fill you up before it's too much, and it trickles down onto the bedsheets underneath you.
And when he finally slips out, he spreads your puffy folds apart with his fingers, watching his cum ooze out before he's scooping it back up and stuffing it back inside. Making sure he's not wasting a drop because "you look so pretty just like this."
And he means that. Your body's all soft, pliant, and full with his seed. Your thighs still tremble from the multiple orgasms he's given you, and his hands massage your twitching muscles with slow, smooth circles.
His touch is all soft and gentle as he continues to praise you, his hands rubbing along your body until you're melting back into the bed with him.
Then he's pulling you close to hold you in his arms as your back presses against his chest. And that's how you two stay until he thinks you've rested enough for round two.
Again, his stamina is high, and it doesn't take him long before his hand snakes between your thighs. He's murmuring that he just needs you to hook your leg over his knee, and he'll do all the work. He just wants to make you feel good, and the image of cumming inside you again has his brain mushy while his fingers give your sweet cunt a cute little inspection to see if you can handle more.
ëë° - you made it to the end!
