I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with these very bright fabrics I bought in Canada last year. There are 4 pieces in total but alone they are so dominating. Today I took the plunge got out my sheets and started cutting them into strips. Now they are starting to look a bit more coherent and I love the bright slashes. These are two panels that will shortly be made into a dress. It will have pockets and possibly yellow lines sewn on it to hold down the seams and add a wee bit more colour to it. Hello followers! I've decided to document my life living in the south and the events that occur in my life. I recently had someone paint a picture of me and it came out wonderful with the dress a sewed myself so I thought that I must share it with you.Things in my family have been going very well so far in the sense that no one has fallen ill, the winter is not cold but the wind is hard to bear on top of being already sick.

All around us are people who are dying and becoming very sick very quickly. The doctors treat the people to the best that they can but sometimes it is just too late. There are many families that are being split up with husbands, wives, and children dying. I just hope that God will end the madness and protect the people of the Southern Colony.
