Ball Gown I made for Sewstine's Art Nouveau ball heals in March of 2026. I used so many power tools for the corset, it was great XD. I realize you never did post pictures of it, and I spent a hell of a lot of time on it lol

I accidentally used iron Man colors for the dress, one of the hazards of not having any fabric stores close to you And having your favorite colors be red, yellow and black lol. So I'm just going to slap a few lights on this bad boy for Halloween and I'm set xD

Good news is that I am transitioning to a new job this year, so I am hoping to have some more creative time in the summer!

Guys. So, Sewstine (she has a costuming channel on YouTube, if you don't already know her!) announced a long time ago that she was hosting an Art Nouveau ball in Chicago in March of next year, and AS you might guess, I was ECSTATIC, BUT tickets sold out almost immediately and I had hesitated just a bit too long. 😭 I've been super bummed out that I'd miss it (especially since I'd MET Sewstine at the LAST historical costume ball I went to in Chicago, and she was super nice and told me my dress was pretty. 🥺 Sooo I like to imagine that we're "friends" now. 😌😂) but I was on a waiting list. A few tickets came available a few months ago, but I missed those too (they sold out in the hours between the email being sent and when I saw it first thing in the morning! 😅😭), but then YESTERDAY, I woke up to another email again, and I was like shaking in excitement and fear, haha, but THIS time I was not too late! 🥺 So... I'm going to the ball! I am... Over the moon, haha! I've scarcely been able to think about anything else since then, I'm so excited!!!
