SF from Sausalito, 4.16.18
After I took this picture an elderly lady came up to me and asked if I could take a picture of her and her son. The lighting was kind of tricky since the sun was glaring from the left side of the pier, and they seemed surprised when I took multiple shots.
The son was our age so I imagined he had taken the day off work to spend with his mom. She looked so happy and almost anxious. We saw them again later walking together by the water and looking out to the city. I wondered how they felt in that moment walking side by side.
