I’m still amazed that a lot of people still love this mod I made.

The idea of this came from fanart of Juri and other characters wearing A.K.I. Outfit 3. Most would think “this outfit looks stylish, and it would look cool on other characters.” Yes, it is a stylish outfit and it would look cool on others…I’ll agree on that. For me as someone who loves F.A.N.G, admittedly I have strange feelings seeing such works. My reactions would automatically go, "I wonder if they know the deeper meaning behind this fashion statement?" Knowing the intent of this costume written by the designer, it is an obvious F.A.N.G tribute because of how much A.K.I. loves him. The outfit represents a deep love and respect towards FANG. It is a way to feel worthy to stand next to him and to be closer to him.

There were ideas and talks about putting AKI’s Outfit 3 onto other characters as a mod. I had my own thoughts about making it myself. But again, I had mixed feelings because I believe the only person in Street Fighter lore that can wear this outfit is AKI because she loves FANG. If other characters knew the meaning behind this outfit, they would not wear this at all unless they’re somehow forced to do so.

Many months later, I decided to make it. And I had to be the first one to make it. I thought to myself if another modder were to make a character wearing AKI’s Outfit 3, the meaning and intent would be loss. They would not mention about the love for FANG because most often they would not know about the lore behind it, or they would ignore it because they don’t like FANG 🙄. To me, this mod has to be made by someone who understands this costume, even if it contradicts to the actual meaning. If I make this mod, I can tell the world what AKI’s Outfit 3 really means.

Also, I like the idea that the love of FANG spreads to anyone who wears this costume. AKI’s outfit 3 is already stylish, but reading about the designer’s comment about honoring FANG made it a million times better 💜💜

Funnily enough, my gender is apparently a mystery…even though I have F.A.N.G girl on my bio lol. Nevertheless, I do love the appreciation.

I’ve already said this on Twitter X, but I made these mods not because of the lack DLC content for the roster characters but it’s because I simply I wanted to put something cute and funny on them. With full honesty, I’m indifferent about future costumes for roster characters, if they ever come out that is. As a modder, I’m not too worried about the slow rollout because I can always make content for myself. Sure, it’s never gonna be as good as the official stuff, but at least I have the satisfying feeling of making something. But of course, it’s always nice to see new content for our fave characters and I can tell SF6 players are starving for dlc, especially console owners.

A.K.I. as Yor Forger SF6 Mod.

I just realized my mod was featured on EventHubs a long while ago. They said some nice things about it. How many times have I been featured on that site now?

Capcom kicked off their latest major collaboration for Street Fighter 6 earlier this week by adding additional content to the game that cent

When I saw the trailer for the Spy x Family collab, I thought it would be neat to have A.K.I. dressed as Yor Forger. Tbh I wasn’t disappointed that it was only avatar gear. I am a modder after all and I can make what I want. The in-game assets made it convenient to do too. I thank Capcom for that haha. Plus, there are people who are happy dressing their own characters as Loid and Yor.

Of course, I have to include a version with AKI’s original hair style. She looks great in other hairdos, but her original umbrella hair is the best one—it’s the style that defines A.K.I. 💜💜

I know there are people out there that thought characters like Chun-Li (a mod already exists for her by FishBoy), Juri, or Cammy would fit better…but I like A.K.I. more lol. I’m contemplating on making another Yor Forger mod, but it’s not going to be a character that most people wished. I am a modder after all, and I can do what I want 😜😜. But I’m sure there are other modders out there that might be working on a Cammy or Juri version.

That being said, currently there are three SF6 characters that have Yor Forger mods.

1) A.K.I.

2) Chun-Li

3) F.A.N.G (!)

Yes, I did put FANG in Yor’s clothes (and also Loid’s) 💜🥰💜🥰. Wow, F.A.N.G before Juri and Cammy lol 😅😅. I am a modder after all, and…you know where I’m getting at haha. Though unsurprisingly EventHubs excluded that bit. As much as I enjoy some of the articles on that site, I have the feeling that they’re afraid to showcase such content. Like even if it’s not F.A.N.G and it’s on a more conventionally attractive male character instead, they would shy away from it. I can’t blame them. Even though the FGC is quite diverse, it’s still very hetero-cis-male dominated. It’s understandable that they’re afraid of offending their target audience, but I’m sure a number of EventHub readers are more open minded than what the site writers have expected. Or at least that’s what I believe.

I’m still a little salty on the AKI one and much preferred the Japanese version where it says that “she adores him so much that she almost poisoned him” rather than the doom and gloom one of the English version. And I swear, I’m not one of those people that think everything in Japan is better—I’m just F.A.N.G bias, that’s all.

Screenshots of F.A.N.G (Fang Fei) in Street Fighter 6. Knowing him SFV and then seeing him in SF6 will always be wild to me, especially when his glasses are removed. He was from a cartoony looking Disney villain to something more realistic…and they made him so gorgeous 😍😍. I love both his SFV and SF6 designs by the way 💜💜

I think it’s an interesting detail that the devs gave him dark smokey eyes. Yes, FANG had them too in SFV with his story Nguuhao costume, but it wasn’t as prominent as his SF6 iteration. I’m not really sure the reason why they gave him such eyes like that (the World Guide book said nothing about FANG’s design). But I’d imagine SF6 FANG doesn’t get enough sleep because he’s hard at work in trying to revive Shadaloo…and his continual usage of poisons.

World Tour lighting isn’t really the greatest because a lot of nice detail on the characters are made to be unnoticeable. Playing around with the lights and rendering through REFramework had opened my eyes on how well-made these avatar and NPCs are. They’re not at the same level as the roster characters, but they still look quite stunning in this lighting.

A.K.I. World Tour fun lol. I never notice that these avatar clothes look good in certain lighting. Obviously not as good as character roster costumes, but still good on its own. I might consider putting these on A.K.I. herself for Fighting Ground…though I might get lazy on the alt colors considering SF6 mods tend to break with each major update lol.
