Epsilon Sigma Phi Sorority Incorporated is a multicultural organization. Four women founded the Delta Chapter at St. Francis College in the summer of 2010. Our Chapter has grown since then.
Women who are interested in joining our sorority can join by attending Rush events. We do Rush during the fall and spring semesters. Our pledge process is only open to females who are freshmen, sophomores, juniors and transfer students who are freshmen, sophomores or juniors. Candidates must have a current cumulative GPA of a 2.5, as the sorority stresses scholarship.
Our main annual events include Diversity Week, which includes many events like food sales, and showcases in which we demonstrate all cultures represented in our chapter. We also participate in community service walks, including those that benefit Breast Cancer and AIDS research.
Our chapters of Epsilon Sigma Phi include the Alpha Chapter at Stony Brook University, the Beta Chapter at Hunter College, the Gamma Colony at Fairfield University and the Epsilon Chapter at Queens College.
If you are interested in joining a diverse sisterhood or If you have additional questions, you may contact Epsilon Sigma Phi.
Kayla Tufo ‘16 is majoring in Psychology. My favorite things about St. Francis College are the professors and small class sizes: “Because the classes are so small, it gives the professor a chance to get to know each student, and they are always willing to help.”
St. Francis College students love to follow the scents of the flavorful Latin foods served during the Latin American Society's regular food sales!
Latin American Society’s goal is to unite everyone of all nationalities in learning a bit more about the cultures from all Latin countries. Not only has the student club had successful food sales at SFC, but its members never hesitate to volunteer their time to other amazing causes, such as Gigi's Playhouse, a nonprofit organization that help kids and adults with Down Syndrome by providing educational and therapeutic programs at no charge; sorority Kappa Theta Nu’s charity event Zumbathon Party in Pink; fraternity Tau Kappa Epsilon’s annual charity event See-Saw For a Chance.
The Latin American Society also supports our very own Wounded Warriors Project charity event that benefits military veterans.

Katherine N. Cardy '17 is a Childhood Education major with a concentration in English and a minor in Spanish. Being in Brooklyn heights I have the opportunity to be well rounded. I can walk around the neighborhood and experience art as well as nature. I have the ability to experience the city without necessarily being in the city.
