Green tea, you are liquid gold.
It's been a tough couple of weeks. It started about two weeks ago. The same night things got better, was the morning they got worse. At night, I met a boy. We talked, we laughed, we kissed, we held hands... It was like a fantasy. During the day, I got some blood-work results back. I'm deficient in 3 vitamins- iron, D, B12. Replacing the iron and D is easy- it's just a matter of popping some capsules every morning and night. B12? Not so much. I needed an injection. So off to the doctors I went on Wednesday night for my injection... And boom. Guess who had a bad reaction to the injection? Wednesday night, Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, Monday morning... I've been in the doctors surgery 4 times in a week. Each time with a new test. More blood work, an ECG, a blood sugar test, balance tests, eye checks... And it doesn't end there. If this dizziness and shakiness doesn't go away by about Friday I have to have a head scan. I'm tired, my hands feel disconnected from my body, my fingers keep shaking, my stomach keeps turning. I'm never hungry anymore... And the fairy tale boy has stopped replying to my texts. On top of all of this, no gym for this week... And these gym photos on my dash are practically making me want to cry. I miss working out. It's been a week since I did any movement that wasn't walking to work. I just want this ordeal to be over. I want him to text me. I want to work out.
Pushed my body to the absolute limit last night... Remember that Jillian Michaels gif.... "Unless you faint, puke or die keep going!" Yep. I think I'm proof that your body needs rest sometimes; and that food is so very important for your body and recovery. Anyway, I miss you guys. What's been going on? Drop me a line in my ask :)
Let me just chat for a bit.
Been a busy week; work and uni and the like. Boys too.
Soap Opera boy (the dramatic 'I'm-too-demanding-for-you-babe' boy) is back and out again. He pulled that line again.
Easter Sunday boy.... off-limits. As off-limits as I can get. Like there's someone else in his life.
PT session number two last night. So intense. I cannot deadlift to save my life - even just a kettleball.
Gymmed it 3 times this week so far. Its good having a social group that gets together to work out though; I find myself getting closer to my cousins each session and we stick to our training sessions as well.
Uni. Blech. Don't even.
I hate when people say "Free Runs are no good for you". Bitch have you ever been running in a pair of frees? Just because you work at a sportswear store; does not mean you know everything.
