Fanart Hester, Dot and Anadil

Here is Hester, Dot and Anadil inspired by book 1 in my style!

While researching their appearances (because I didn't want to forget any detail while adapting them to my style), I discovered that Dot actually has brown skin, which I didn't know until then. And I'm glad I did some research, I didn't want to whitewashing her out by ignorance.

I also know that the two schools have two distinct uniforms but I thought it would be cool if the Evil School let the students adapt their uniforms to their liking while keeping it roughly similar to the others. That compared to the School for Good for whom appearance is important, the School for Evil is a bit more relaxed on the issue.

so i finished the school for good and evil trilogy yesterday in first block and spent nearly the rest of the block looking for a book to read until i found chain of gold but the point is book one my favorite character was hort, hands down no competition, book two favorite character was tied between dot and hester bc dot was actually brilliant but everyone passed over her thinking she was just gonna be a henchmen or mogrif bc her grades kinda suck and hester put up such a tough girl front about not caring for anyone when she really loves her sister witches and agatha literally willing to die for them and book three got all my favs coming in clutch im so proud of them they were all killing it and the book kinda tripped me up i was not expecting some of those things like it never occurred to me that sohpie and agatha would actually be sisters i kinda thought lady lesso was gonna be sophies mom but being her surrogate was good too i love found family not too happy about her dying but its fine it was a good cause also what happened to aric i think i missed something there they just kinda stopped talking about him anyway i dont think ill read the camelot years or at least not anytime soon bc it literally took me 19 days to get through when i read the first two books in less than a week so theres that anyway i still think hort deserves the world but im also in love with hester so theres that

If the School for Good and Evil characters had dogs!!!

Tedros: You know as well as I do this guy owns a golden retriever. It looks close enough like a lion and is so sweet, especially with him. Best. Cuddles. Ever.

Agatha: she didn't want a dog, at first, but caved when she saw a pitbull no one else wanted. They having matchung reputations and people jump out of their skin when they see Agatha walking this thing.

Sophie: Poodle. What? It's beautiful and smart just like her😁 And because she can trained it to be her guard dog, just in case. It is an excellent judge of character

Hort: After a lot of thinking, overthinking, and over-overthinking, he got himself a wolf hound. Not an irish wolfhound, just a wolf hound. He loves having a friend just like him!! And it makes him feel less lonely.

Hester: Doberman. It looks like her demon and she loves it so much.

Anadil: Chihuahua because it's as small as her two remaining rats and it's 50 pounds of anger in a 5 pound bag, which reminds her of Hester.

Dot: I imagine Dot would either own a corgi or a pug. The corgi because it's cute and fluffy, but the pug because it had such a squishy little face!!!

Beatrix: King Charles Spaniel. What? It's beautiful, just like her

Rhian: A weimaraner. It looks like royalty and is a fantastic audience. He's pretty good at fetch, too.

Japeth: Rottweiler. It keeps him sleeping at night and keeps people afraid to cross him.

Aric: NO DOGS! TOO EVIL FOR A DOG! HE CAN JUST HAVE A BULL FOR THE NIGHT!!(they care more about movement than the color red)

It accorded to me that I'd never drew any of these characters together so I'd thought I would change that. I'd put my own spin on these character designs and clothes, especially beatrix because to me the picture of her in the never ever handbook isn't exactly how I imagined she would look like. She looks like phobe from friends. I took some libertiess with designing there cliques and clothes. Ever girl warriors are stylish, colorful, and girly, while the never girl seekers have a grudge goth look to them.
